Really simple registration of sample, got a message it had been received mid morning and by late afternoon I had the negative result. Have saved lots of money doing this test.
Instructions were very clear and concise. You need to provide your own PPE.
Sent the package of via Royal mail 1st class post at last collection on Wednesday. Received a text on Friday to say the sample had been received in the lab. Results came an hour or so later.
I did have a query and contacted their customer support section and they responded within the hour.
Registration of your pack is done online through their site.
Posted our result in time for Tuesday’s post collection, hoping for a result the following day as we used the first class post envelope provided.
Sample arrived Friday and asbestos confirmed that day as we suspected.

Great service, took a small sample from our garage roof. Posted it off and got an SMS to say it was in the lab. Received the results on email same day. Unfortunately the results confirmed asbestos so now I need to remove the garage. Overall very good quick and easy.
Definitely worth doing for peace of mind especially if you are not familiar with what may or may not contain asbestos and doing DIY at home.

My only recommendation to is to pay the extra for Royal Mail special delivery as unfortunately the Royal Mail’s standard service was unreliable in my experience.
On the day the sample arrived at the lab I received a text to confirm this and the result of the test not long after.
Aftercare is supportive, with options to be put into contact with local asbestos removal specialists.
There is a lot of HSE legislation involving asbestos products, it is quite daunting and heavy reading.

We are Selling our house and the buyers survey thought there might be artex (asbestos) on the ceilings so to be sure we bought are test kit via Amazon very easy instructions to follow, posted the next day , had our results within 3 days , fantastic service, ( plus no trace found) all confirmed via email , highly recommended
I unfortunately used this over a bank holiday weekend so can’t comment on the speed, although I will say that it arrived (as I did it signed-for) early on the Tuesday and wasn’t ready until almost wednesday evening.
Kit was fine, was fairly confident it wasn’t asbestos anyway so didn’t go for the PPE kit. Easy instructions, although they don’t really specify a sample size/weight limit for the sample, I just guessed a “as long as it fits in the bag”.
Report was clear, certificate was provided, emailed and SMS’d.
I would reccommend over an independant and costly in-person check if all you want is validatio

After a search, we ended up ‘buying a bag from Amazon’ and trying it out. What could go wrong?

Results in a few days. I got a message trying to sell me a fast track service a couple of hours before I got the results, I can’t say I was thrilled with that as would have been a waste of money had I gone for it.
The kit was easy to use and the instructions were clear.
I don’t often leave reviews but I have to say the service was great! I received the test kit promptly but made the mistake of returning it via Royal Mail. Despite sending it ‘tracked’ after 10 days it hadn’t arrived. So I contacted the seller and they immediately sent out another test kit at no extra chargeit arrived the next day. Then wouldn’t you know it, a full two weeks after posting, the first sample is delivered. It was tested immediately and I had the results the very same day! First class. Highly recommended.
Instructions for the return of the samples were detailed and clear, but having not taken a sample before I was a bit confused as to how much was needed, ended up cutting a strip of a corrugated sheet roof on my garage and sending that in as the sample. Some examples either in the pack or links online would have been beneficial but was not the end of the world.
Posted back via Royal Mail and the sample was received and processed within the same day and received the report via email shortly after.
Definetly recommend, although those who are unfamiliar should maybe check for videos for guidance first.
Sent on Friday in the 1st class envelope provided. It arrived Monday morning, I got a text to confirm its arrival and if I wished to upgrade to same day testing. I didn’t, but the sampling must have been quiet as I still got the results back before 5pm. This might not always be the case but very efficient service and I have an emailed certificate with results.
I was quoted 125 by a Liverpool company with a weeks wait after I called. I found this, I was a little sceptical but after some research really pleased with the service for a third of the price I was quoted. Yes it’s a Hazard and there is risk, but if you follow the guidance and wear their correct PPE And your confident to do it best service around.
From our own experience it’s worth paying for this test rather than taking advice from someone who has only visually checked it. Visual checks cannot identify asbestos, it has to be tested. Even if it’s a well respected friend who has told you, just get it tested to confirm. We had a good friend who has been in the building industry for many years and told us a ceiling we had was a plasterboard ceiling and was adamant that it wasn’t asbestos at all.I got it tested and it was brown asbestos, really dangerous stuff. Well meaning friends with years of experience can be wrong, just get it tested.
