We played this on Christmas day with son (9 – whose present this was), 5 year old daughter, two parents (40+) and Grandma (71). We all found it easy to play, but most of all it was a massive hit and we had lots of fun. Played quite a few rounds for about 20 minutes in total.

It’s pretty much the same concept as the original double but you work fast to link 4 of your tiles in a row. It’s actually quite fun , and nice and quick to play. Super simple for anyone to pick up even for young children. Comes in a small box so great travel game size too. It’s a thumbs up from our family

This is a clever little game that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Its easy to play and great fun. We have long been fans of the original dobble game, this is a clever twist on the original.

So it may have caused a few family fall outs already. But that’s the sign of a good game right?!
We have various sets of Dobble and as soon as this was released we had to try it. You need a larger area to play it on, so a dining table or floor.
It causes chaos, but in the best possible way. One for all the family

A quick easy to understand game that the kids have loved.

Great way to spend 15 mins.

At first, this game looks and sounds easy. You have two cards. They each have loads of pictures on (in various sizes) and you have to find the one picture that appears on both cards. First person to do so wins the card.
It’s actually quite hard, as the images you want appear in different sizes and rotations. Trying to do it faster than others also makes it harder.
Great fun, suitable for kids 7+ I would say.

My children, well my whole family have been dobble fans for years so we’re excited to try this new Dobble concept.
We were not disappointed at all. Arrived in a nice size box and the games are great as don’t go on forever like some. You can have a few games before arguments start as they last about 15/20 minutes.
Handy for travelling or eating out. Still not as good as original in my opinion but my children love it. Great for children 8 plus

Looking for something different that’s easy for players of different ages to enjoy -I suggest you give this a go! It is a compact card based game that takes very little to learn to play but can be great for pairs/teams to join in with. Looking forward to trying it out with larger numbers of players in future but suspect it will be tactical and fun!

This is a really simple but fun game that anyone can play! It’s particularly good to play with the family because it doesn’t require any specific sort of skill or knowledge, anyone can understand it and you just need to be quick! Would recommend!

So this new version of Dobble can used to play classic dobble, or you can use them to play this new version domino type version. The set comes in a nice size box, just not as portable as the classic dobble which is in na great travel tin.
So at 14.99 you could say its quiet expensive for a card game, but you can play two versions of the game makes this a worth while game, be it for gifting or for your own family

I ordered this card game for my family and we had a lot of fun playing it. The game came with 55 cards that had different symbols on them. The game also came with an instruction booklet that explained how to play five different mini-games based on speed and observation. The goal of the game was to find the matching symbol between two cards as quickly as possible and shout it out loud. The game was fun and fast-paced, and it tested our reflexes and memory. The game was suitable for all ages from 8 years old and up, and it could be played by 2 to 8 players. The game was also compact and portable, so we could take it anywhere. I think this is a great product for anyone who loves fun and fast-paced card games.

Dobble is one of my go to games to play with friends, whether as just 2 players, or more. It never disappoints and is a great way to warm up before a more complex board game, or as a finish up to a gaming session.

This new addition of Dobble Connect expands on the way you play it, hexagonal cards are used to merge the ideas of classical Dobble and a game of tic-tac-toe. Despite the cards being different shape – you can still use them to play the more traditional Dobble game variations – but with updated fun images on the cards.

    Have fun!

We love traditional Dobble, but also love this new version too! Sometimes games get ruined by new versions, but this is genuinely a great spin-off.

We’re a family of 6 and it works really well to play as 3 teams of 2. The action is frantic. But it also requires speed of thought and your wits about you or you can inadvertently help another team win by placing your card in a bad position. You have to decide whether to help make your own line of 4 cards to win or block another team from getting their line finished. Games can be over very quickly or last quite a while. After each round, it gets harder for the winning team to win the next round.

You need quite a bit of space to play the game – it only just fitted on our coffee table.

Like original Dobble, it still helps to have good eyesight!

This is the first Dobble game me and my 8yo son have played so it was great to have clear and easy to understand instructions.
The box contains 4 different coloured decks of hexagonal cards, each containing 10 images, every card contains one image that matches one of the images on another card – you have to take a card from your stack then match it to the starting card, or, one of the other cards in play – you shout the name of the images that match as you place it down.
Play takes place with all players playing simultaneously and you win by getting 4 of your cards in a straight line.
The strategy comes in by you having to decide to either focus on making a line, or spoiling your opponents chances by blocking the line.

The games are fast and fun, and the first to win 4 games is the winner.

The components are good quality and the pictures are well illustrated.

This is a great fast paced family game. We are big fans of the original Dobble and this version adds a fun twist. The cards are colour coded and the aim is to create a row of 4 cards of the same colour. You can play in teams and everyone plays simultaneously. Both my children (9 and 11) love the game. It’s definitely one we will be taking on holiday

If you have played the original dobble then you will like this. It’s one of the easiest games to learn. This version has a slight twist. You still match up symbols but you can work as teams and even block opponents. Your goal is to be the fastest team to connect four cards of your colour in a row to win a round. The winner is determined after a few rounds. Great when friends come over or a trip to the caravan in my case. Small, compact so easy to pack if you take it away.

We have the ordinary Dobble game, its a great game for all and requires a keen eye to spot items before others. This version has hexagon shaped cards compared with the standard round cards. Like Dobble you need to spot items on the card and match up but with this version the aim is to try and get four in a row, sounds easy but quite often you get blocked before you get four and once the game has started to get going and the map of cards spreads out more in different directions it is more challenging to find what you need.

Some care is needed while playing as its faster paced and the cards are not thick so can be easily bent if you get two people competing for the same spot at the same time. A good fun game for all ages and certainly an improvement on the standard Dobble game.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis card set could be used to play classic dobble, or you can use them to play this new version, which is kind of like connect 4 meets dobble.

The set comes in a nice box, not too large- but I would have preferred a travel tin like classic dobble to enable these to be more portable.

Currently the set is priced at 14.99, which is a bit expensive for essentially a set of cards but the fact you can play two versions of the game makes this worth a bit extra.

I absolutely love Dobble Connect! As a long-time fan of the original Dobble game, I was so excited to try out this new edition and it did not disappoint. The gameplay is fast-paced and exciting, and my daughters (aged 10 and 7) have been absolutely loving it.

One of the things I love about Dobble Connect is that it’s designed to be played in pairs, so it’s a great game to play with friends and family. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, but there’s also plenty of room to get creative and come up with your own variations on the game.

What really sets Dobble Connect apart for me, though, is the quality of the game pieces. The cards and board are sturdy and well-made, and I can tell that they’ll hold up to lots of use over time. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Dobble Connect to anyone who loves fast-paced, fun games that can be enjoyed with a partner. It’s a five-star game all the way!

I played with just 2 players, it’s a very simple type of snap game. It’s a different take on the classic dobble. In this version you have a starting card and need to try and place 4 connecting cards down by matching the icons first. you can play as single players or in teams or 2. This is a great family game to play with kids and teens as they can get involved easily 🙂

This game is fun, easy and suitable for any age. I’ve played this with my family, partner and young niece and nephews. It comes in a small portable tin so it’s easy to bring along to a friends house or away on holiday. This game has brought a new competitive streak in my household!!!
