Let’s get the obvious out of the way..
I was using an old Asus GT card, which for me was fine.. upgraded to this, and….

Gaming – This before tweaking was an amazing upgrade, graphics were exactly as on game ads.. Amazing, then with the rog settings and amd tweaks, I can go full tilt frames per second – FPS and I will add that the response with the game is better and more accurate so

Web design – when using hd images and colours this card provides amazing detail, allowing much more aspect re colour ect (the rest the processor does so not noticed)

Video – when doing the final crunch, conversion using the amd tweaks I re encoded and output a 2 hour video in minutes by using the processor on the unit only

I haven’t even stressed out the card yet so as an upgrade this card far exceeds me and my requirements

Highly recommended and from this selle

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy previous graphics card was a GTX1650 Super which isn’t all that bad a card and I was pleased with it. Adobe have a new noise reduction feature which was taking four or five minutes on a 45mb image. Having fitted this card it now takes less than thirty seconds. I don’t play games so can’t comment on that but for Lightroom and Photoshop this is a game changer. Working with masks is much better too. So impressed.

Pros: fans silent at low temps, metal backplate, undervolted easily to 925mV @ 1920MHz, small enough for compact cases.

Cons: uses more power than 4060 (but that doesn’t have 12GB, not that useful normally but for people who use loads of texture mods can be great), fans can get a little noisy, not too bad though and temps are fine.

I use it for gaming and the 12GB memory is great for my games. Getting 380 fps on CS on high settings which is amazing as I previously had 140 fps on low settings on a 750ti

Not a heavy gamer by any means but my trusty RX580 8GB was beginning to show it’s age and struggling on some games. Wanted a decent sub 300 upgrade and i’m happy very happy with this card.

This will get me though till my next build in a few years.

    Happy days

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWith current GPU prices still holding, this is a great value card for 1080p Ultra/1440p gaming. The card arrived secured in a branded Asus box.

The card itself looks great and is well built with dual fans – which remain still until you start gaming/working – silent whilst browsing/watching media. It’s a fairly compact card which will fit in most compact pc builds.

This is also one of the few RTX30 Nvidia cards with 12GB Vram – perfect for gaming, video editing, content creation, and AI applications. This all round ability and price is the main reason I chose this particular card.

So far this card has not disappointed in both applications and games – highly recommended for a great card with a reasonable price tag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money gaming card

Upgraded from a 1050Ti to this RTX 3060 for 275.39. Soooo much faster (around 3.5 times I think). I am now able to play my games at much higher frame rates and graphics settings (games look so much more awesome now!) Am also able to export video from Davinci Resolve MUCH faster. At the time of writing the RTX 3060 offers the best price/performance ratio of any Nvidia card which is why I chose to buy now. Pretty quiet – VERY quiet when browsing/streaming. Apparently the card will draw up to 170-180W of power when gaming but when idling in Windows is drawing less than 15W for me. I also love the little RGB light, nice touch! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this ASUS card because it represents a reasonably priced option from a brand I’ve had good experiences with so far.

The 3060 is a bit of an anomoly among entry level graphics cards because there are 12GB VRAM models readily available, which make it an excellent way to dip your toes into locally run AI. This was the reason that I bought it, and it absolutely delivers the right value for the price.

However, it’s also a very competent gaming option, and that extra VRAM should also help the longevity of this card against other models from this generation.

its a nice little card, at full pelt doing ray tracing it hits about 65c which is great. my old 1080ti was hitting 90c+.. nice and small for a smaller pc so no gpu sag to worry about.
12gb also, whats going on with all these 8gb cards.
if you use dlss and keep it at 1080p or 1440p its a winner for the price.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe 3060 is the perfect length card for my mini atx case. It is a very capable card, it even runs RTX ray tracing games like GTA5 Portal ray traced. it supports DLSS 2.0 i let nvidia Geforce experience set this up for me i am not a performance guru.
It runs cool – idling at 29C and the hottest it has got is 67c while playing or in time spy 3dmark graphics test. Those dual fans work. The 3060 achieved a graphic score of 8668 in time spy which is no slouch but not in the same league of a 3090 or 4090. It has 12Gb of memory so I can add all the bells and whistles with little chance of causing memory paging.
performance is enough for me i dont see tearing or slow downs running in widescreen 2560×1080 native to my display. I am only driving it with a dinosaur processor an i7-4790k which was good in its day but that day was in 2015 lol . but this card does the work for the processor while i am still happy with my frame rate i will keep this rig with the new lease of life this 3060 afforded it.

I waited at least 6 months to write this review. Card is awesome, still going well, and was delivered fast. As advertised. Really can’t complain, except for the price I paid at the time. Can’t get that gaming time back though, so imo it was worth it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had this for a while now and it’s a decent upgrade from my GTX 1060. It was way overpriced though and I fairly wish I had waited a while longer. Oh well.

Not sure I like where Team Green are heading with the next series. I think my next card will AMD, and probably made by Asus. I have used Asus motherboards and GPUs for years and never had any issues. I also never install their software.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThis was not bought to be a gaming card, so the dual rather than triple fan version was more than enough. Using it with the Adobe video editing tools – After FX and Premiere Pro – the card is performing well, with render times down, motion smooth, and the interoperability of moving files instantly between the two apps smooth. I had issues on all with my older 1050 card.

The only downside was Amazon packaging. A high-value item put in a bag rather than a hardcover for transport, even though ASUS packaged it well, was not good. A notable dent in the Asus box corner did not translate to damage inside the original package. Possibly more luck than judgment.

As a product I am really happy.
