I purchased the road angel halo go after using the nextbase brand cameras. I went through 3 cameras in 5 yrs and did not want to buy another at that point. Well camera install was quiet easy and connecting to the app was easy enough using an iPhone. Initially I thought the camera was not recording but it was. When you connect to the camera and go to the videos it shows empty you have to click download and then it comes up all the recorded footage. Have used it for about 3 weeks and it’s been good. Build quality feels better than the nextbase brand. The app is good and easy to use.

Bought this to replace another type of dash cam

Fantastic little item, much better than expected easy to use and no distraction with the screen being on there .( unless you connect to your phone) but that drains battery faster than expected so I just connect if need to download something

Nice DashCam, good picture and easy to install, but manual gives very little detail or explanation about options in the App menu, particularly with Parking Mode. Sadly there is no support option to download any additional information, not even a PDF of the Quick Start Guide…! When I asked Support, they couldn’t answer any more than was in the manual… Shame as it seems like a good product… Guess you just have to find out what the options do by trial and error… but I just wanted to avoid flattening my battery in the process…

Very difficult to install!!That’s because the piece of celefin tape protecting the sticky bit that you attach to the windshield does not overlap makes life so difficult and if you read this please send me some spares.

It was easy to install, the picture quality is ok, but I did expect a bit better, andriod app is easy to use, and does everything I need it too, and I have had not issues with connection speed or strength.

It has 2 flaws though, firstly, the memory card cover, drops off regularly, and there is no ability to quick save clips, you have to wait till you are stopped, and connect the phone.Personally feel a simple button that locks that clip would be a great addition.

I had this installed and working in about 30 mins, it was so easy. The camera picture quality is excellent. It linked to my phone on wifi very easily, very easy to set up the settings on the phone. When I installed it, the vibrations from the road were setting off camera picture recordings for every small bump in the road, it was easy to find the setting to reduce the sensitivity so that pictures were taken automatically only on much more difficult bumps on the road.

Never got to see all this because never got it to work properly, I being an older person, couldn’t get it to video record only take pictures, so had to wait until my daughter came and tried to set it up following the instructions, she couldn’t either. We contacted customer service, they said several things to try, which we did,still no joy, all too complicated so have returned it, and got some other make

Tried to view footage on my PC, won’t play but onscreen notice says ‘this item was encoded in a format that’s not supported’ Where do I go from here????? It’s a new SD card and it’s been formatted. Can the suppliers help??? Edit, the problem has now been resolved with help from other buyers, many thanks for your help. The camera’s great by the way!!

This is my 1st dash cam. It was easy to install it comes with along USB cable & 12v socket. It also has a handy wee tool to help pull back the plastics so you can poke the power cable behind them for a neat install. It’s easy to set up & use also (you need to buy a high-speed sd card separately tho). No screen to distract you, it works with an app on your phone. Any videos are downloaded direct to your smartphone and can be sent via email or what’s app. Images are clear and microphone is clear (this can be turned off). As it’s my 1st dash cam I can’t compare it to anything. But having never own one before it was simple to fit & use.

Installed it myself with a hardwire kit, very small and unobtrusive. Works well, all setup and reviewing is done over the onboard Wi-Fi which although works fine, is dreadfully slow – if you need footage, take the SD card out and sort on a computer.

Love this!!!! So easy to set up even for a single mum like me
Picture quality better then my phone, super easy to install.
100% recommend. Only down side is it’s super sensitive and takes pics every bump in the road by guess I can adjus
