Ordered a projector off here, and had to take it back as it didn’t work with a formula box that I use to stream. This projector is fantastic for the money. Picture is really clear and the sound is also good.
For the price, this projector has performed better than expected. I replaced a much more expensive Epson, although this projector does not match the brightness nor clarity – I have found it to be much more user friendly and perfectly adequate for some big screen gaming.
Also no issues with lag – yet.
Not used the projector “live” yet but have fully tested it out and it appears to be excellent for the money. Main points:
Bright display even in daylight
Easy to set up and operate
Quiet
Plenty of connection options
Impressed in how easy it was to run a PowerPoint presentation from a memory stick.
Pretty accurate auto-focus.
One of the best purchases I have made this year. This projector is amazing, I have no complaints with my purchase and would definitely recommend this to a friend.
A must buy!!
It’s nice and good quality. it automatically adjust so not to much things to do. I take it different place so it really good for me. The sounds also OK for me as well
Projector is being used to project laptop onto the bedroom wall to watch films and sport. Haven’t been able to use bluetooth connection and the wifi is rather unreliable so have to use hdmi cable to connect. But using that the projector is great.
I’ve gone through 2 other similarly priced projectors here on Amazon, and this one is hands down a whole different level. The colours are actually vivid and not looking like it’s a 1980s vintage film, the sharpness is great, the blacks are actually black and there’s a good balance between the highlights and shadows. Auto focus and auto keystone are both really useful, otherwise can be adjusted by a remote as opposed to many other projectors with their manual adjustment rings.
It’s as loud as any other projector in the price range, so it won’t bother you if it’s far enough, although I wouldn’t want to have my head next to it.
The brightness is great too, but I’d still go for a fully dark room for the best picture.
The only thing I would want different is the cable length. Both hdmi and power cords are very short for a projector that most would want to attach to a ceiling.
Overall, it’s probably one of the best options to go for in this price range.
I like this projector, I did use with miracast, it was good because easy to connect with my simple android phone. Projector not too noisy.
what would be better:
I have an external storage what is 1TB did not readed the folders, maybe should leave the files directly on the storage without folders. I have to try. Overall worth to buy it.
The projector is great. We are using it as a home cinema setup projecting onto a blank white wall. We are running a 1080p Amazon fire stick through it and the picture quality is really good. I imagine with a 4k ready device it would be perfect.
The Bluetooth connectivity is flawless and runs perfectly without delay to a speaker/sound bar
We have noted that the fan can be a little loud, especially as the projector is placed next to a wall on top of a bookshelf and the sound resonates throughout the room.
I have had countless projectors within the past year. I have sent all of them back to Amazon as they have all had faults, the hassle everytime became tiring and I was about to give up and purchase a massive tv instead. I am that person who searches through all the reviews before purchasing and this projector came up as one of the most highly rated. I can honestly say it does not disappoint. The qualify of the sound and picture is very very good, the fans are quieter than other projectors I have had and I love the manual focus feature to ensure the entire screen is sharp. Ive not had projectors long enough to write a good review but this one is THE best I have had.
Likes:
Lightweight, compact, excellent autofocus, good resolution for my stills photos when presenting, good manual controls in the settings.
Dislikes:
Not as bright as some projectors, fall off of focus from top to bottom or left to right when projecting at an angle. The auto keystone never seems to work correctly if the extendible screw foot is over halfway extended or the angle is greater than about 8% to the screen. luckily this is overcome easily enough with the manual settings which I always seem to need to use. Some colours fail to reproduce close to the original.
Recommendation for use:
Project at not too great a distance. An 80cm screen width should be ample. Use a projection table to raise the height to keep the projector as horizontal as possible. This should induce better results with auto keystoning and keep any focus drop-off minimal.
Don’t hold your expectations too high. For the price, this is good with good built-in software. Reproduction colours are not necessarily accurate however, this is not a 600+ projector therefore you cannot expect the same level of image display.
Only used this twice so far. But seems like a clear picture. And well made unit. Sound from built in speakers seems ok. But plan to use external speakers for more depth.
It’s a great projector I brought one 3 years ago and the difference between the two are amazing I love the auto focus and keystone thou not always perfect being able to do each corner individually is so easy it’s an amazing projector great colours and clarity when playing a 4k video
Liked everything about the product right from packaging of the product till the performance! A backpack to ease mobility. I had a projector before but this is another level with its clarity. Found it the best till now. After sale care sending email to confirm the warranty and service. Loved that part. Excellent!
Love autofocus feature. Comes with lenses cleaning kit. Simple to navigate menu in multiple languages. It’s not noisy in operation. Phone mirroring for iOS and android handy. Very impressed with it. It’s the one to buy at this price range.
I’ve only just set this up but wow! Auto focus and 6d keystone are awesome and the picture is great. Glad I got this and would deffo recommend to others. You won’t find better than this for the price!
Great image, and great projection size either on a wall or on a projector screen. I have seen a few different ones, but the Yaber projector was the best, both in quality and design, but also in price and performance. Great Product!
This projector is brilliant. Bought for Son’s cinema party. Easy to use it aline it’s self with the screen. I would highly recommend it, good quality. It’s cheaper than hiring one. We plugged our surround sound into ot easy. It was far better than we thought it would be.
Autofocus is really a blessing as my kid keeps on moving it. Now hassle-free as it auto focuses itself.
Hear me out! I had options, instead of a TV I thought a projector in the living room would be great and minimal, now my first thoughts was curry’s which will 100% have the best ones, but at a dangerous price. I wasn’t willing to spend so much right now, so I looked to Amazon and found this beauty, although Curry’s would of had one that would of done the trick and most likely better. This is more than enough, and only using it once and not even on WiFi connection just on data connection was impeccable, very good for its money and time to set up. I had a basic set up going on right now only because I just moved in and didn’t have the proper equipment, but my WiFi is coming in tomorrow and I’ll be getting a better stand. I can tell this product is reasonably for its price. I used my fire stick which worked perfectly with it, but now I’m gonna bring all my equipment plugged into it and see how far I get. This product isn’t the greatest quality but it’s still amazingly good for its price and what it offers. The heat pushes out quite well and stays moderately cool warm but doesn’t over heat. Only used once so can’t say much right now. I love it so far!
I did a fair bit of research on projectors before buying this. I decided to buy this particular projector because it had all the features i needed such as auto keystone correct, image zoom etc.
I’d seen a couple of YouTube videos reviewing it and they seemed to rate it so i took the plunge.
It has so far performed beyond what i expected. It projects a very bright picture which can still be seen when the lights are on in the room. Not sure how it would fare outside. But i have no intention of using it in such a situation anyway.
The menu is fast and intuitive, the auto keystone and focus work well and adjust the project automatically when you move it. You can hear the fan a bit, but i have connected external speakers (that only sound slightly better than those in the unit itself) and the drown out the fan noise.
I use a fire stick for viewing content, and i have also tried IOS Screen mirroring, which works well after an initial issue i had.
I had a technical issue – the helpline assistance I received from Winnie was very responsive and excellent.
So in summary, I’m impressed and would recommend this projector!
All is fine just wondering if it supports 4k for what it doesn’t run 4k on video games and cannot read the 1080p video at usb
Nice Clarity on wall, worth for this price and 3 years Warrenty is bit of peace of mind.
And Auto adjustable is good in every time I move the distance of the Projector, Bluetooth connectivity works better with my Music systems.Light weight too.
I’ll let my video speak for it’s self. Also the volume was on 21. But I was under the projector so I can hear the fan which is normal how every on volume 21 it removes most of the fans sound also once again been under the projector I was still hear the audio from the video at volume 3 before the fan sound takes over. But if you are just watching movie’s change the settings by pressing half open grill window on the controller and change it to movie it boosts the sound also you can use the same button to change the picture as well.
The projector has a surprisingly good picture quality for this price range, and also the sound from the built in speakers is lound and clear in most circumstances. I would highly recommend to everyone who want to enjoy a cinema sized screen at a very affordable price.
After trying 2 other projectors and returning them. I ordered this one… guess 3rd time’s the charm. It’s really great. Quality is crisp and detailed (but you have to use a HDMI cable, the WiFi quality is crap), Autofocus feature is pretty good and so is the Keystone one. Audio is decent. Can’t complain.. for the money I spent on it, does the job!
I wanted to setup movie night in my room build in the back garded (5mx4m) and this is the perfect projector for this. After connecting everything up including my 5.1 surround speaker, I’ve created the big screen experiance in my own back yard.
Very good display I have this in my bedroom projecting to a 120″ screen approximately 3.5Mtr away can still see the picture good when the light is on but obviously still better in the dark as all projectors are.
Just one very odd thing that I have never had with any other projectors is it is very slow to actually power on. Takes around 30 Seconds then reboots it’s self then after another 10 seconds actually works correctly until I switch it on again later then does the same thing again. A very negligible inconvenience but still very strange.
Also I had to modify a ceiling mount so I could mount it to a wall bracket that would normally use a tripod fixing that is an option on all other projectors that I have purchased.
Pros:
1: Fantastic display and features
2: The remote works brillianty.
Cons: Hence only 4x stars
1: Annoying very slow startup every time you turn it on.
2: Doesn’t have a fitting for a small tripod.
Still very recommended for the great picture and features
I bought this projector after searching through tons on Amazon. I went with this because it’s replacing a full HD Yaber projector that I loved, and so far I am not disappointed. The only issue I have is the colours seem to be flat, which gives a slightly flat image, my old Yaber projector by contrast was far superior in this department. But in general the autofocus works perfectly, the keystone correction is perfect too, and the definition of the image is outstanding. The issue I have had with all projectors I’ve owned is that over time there has been a “burn” that creeps over the screen, and gets to a point that it becomes unwatchable. I hope this one will be different but only time will tell.
Hundreds of cheap projectors on AMZ, took a leap of faith on this one which was 200+ and bought a Chromecast separately. Watching this whilst still in daylight although where my screen is makes the area darker. Good quality, not HD but not a problem for outside viewing. Only downside is a very slight lag to Bluetooth speakers so audio is out of sync a bit. The built in speaker isn’t great so I’d recommend running a 3.5 lead to a speaker and it’ll be fine. A great low budget option for outside projecting
This is a very good projector.
The auto keystone won’t set correctly in the room we use because we have a ceiling light balb that gets slightly in the way, so I use the manual settings.
Yaber were really good at coming back to me with advice on how to get the auto to work well. But we have the projector on a shelfon the wall, so just doing manual settings worked perfectly.
This is only needed if you have a small obstruction like a ceiling light bulb that can’t be moved.
The picture is clear and sharp, and way better than a previous projector we used.
It actually works a lot better than we expected even in daylight with our blackout curtains open.
We have ours on a projector shelf fixed to the wall. Make sure you have power outlets close. We had a house rewire and specified outlets on the wall for the projector.
Overall it is good and worth buying.
Read many good reviews about this latest Yaber V9 Pro model and given the price I decided to chance it even though it lacks support for apps i.e. requires a TV stick etc to stream. However, I have since purchased an Apple TV 4k which has the best all in one user interface IMO that I plug into the projector so I don’t have any need for built in apps; I much rather projector companies focus on producing great projectors than worry about apps and it seems YABER is doing just this.
I did find the colours slightly on the dull side compared to my laptop but given we are dealing with a 500 ANSI Lumens projector, which is actually more than most of the competition seems to be offering, this isn’t at all that surprising. I can however watch movies with some ambient light in the room but naturally the darker the room the better experience in general.
The auto keystone feature isn’t quite working as expected, although I may have to check if there is a way to somehow calibrate this to produce more acceptable results, but I’m not overly bothered about this as manual keystone corrections are easy to do. The auto focus feature on the other hand works just fine and is the one I use when I move the projector, but again once I get the focus right I tend to just turn this off.
More importantly I discovere YABER have an active after sales/support service which gives me a lot of confidence in their brand and no doubt they will grow as a company and produce better products going forward … can’t wait to see what they will bring out next.
So, I got my hands on the YABER PRO V9 WiFi projector and holy cow, it’s like having a movie theatre in my house! The auto focus and keystone features are like magic, they make setting up a breeze. And the 500 ANSI lumens? I’m pretty sure my living room is brighter than Times Square on New Year’s Eve. But hey, who needs sleep when you can have an amazing movie night, am I right? And let’s talk about the 4K support and zoom function, it’s like being able to travel through time and space without leaving your couch. I might even start using it to pretend I’m on a beach in Hawaii when I’m actually stuck in my apartment during a snowstorm. Overall, if you’re looking for a projector that’s easy to use, bright, and offers stunning image quality, the V9 is the way to go.
I was looking for a low cost projector and bought exactly that last week. I won’t mention the brand but it had reasonable reviews. It was 1080p native but the image quality was so disappointing. Washed out and jagged. I had to double check to make sure it was 1080 native. Projecting onto a screen improved it slightly, but I knew I just wouldn’t be happy so I returned it. I stumbled upon the Yaber brand and done a little research. Not a huge amount of reviews but they were overwhelmingly positive. So I decided for give it a go.
I can honestly say the image quality and brightness is perfect. I had a decent projector (BenQ) a number of years ago so I know how good they can be. This is as good. In fact it’s better because it’s 1080. It’s not enough to have resolution, you need brightness and colour. This projector has everything to form a wonderfully clear and bright image. At this price point I really don’t think you can go wrong. But please, anyone buying a projector, you must get a decent screen as well. An image projected against a bad surface will be bad.
This also has an auto focus function. And it’s not a gimmick. It’s so accurate and kinda fun to use! No one is ever going to use the inbuilt speakers on any projector so just invest in something half decent and have yourself a great cinema experience.
Highly, highly recommend. Remember the only thing that matters is the image quality. This projector has that and more.
Design & Build Quality:
This is a beautiful projector! It feels really well-built and isn’t overly bulky. It has a foot built into a tripod thread so it’s ready out of the box or for a tripod.
Functions:
The auto focus and auto keystone save so much time setting up and are really accurate.
This projector has every function you could possibly need. It can be connected
wirelessly over wifi or Bluetooth, android or apple as well as having two hdmi & usb
connections for hard drives, laptops etc.
The built in sound is really impressive considering its a projector.
The media browser is nice and simple to use, and plays a big variety of file formats.
The settings options are extremely simple to use and cover any modifications you would
Need. Additionally, this projector has great sound and picture modification settings.
Image Quality:
By far the best thing about this projector is the image quality. It’s absolutely
fantastic straight out of the box. The image is superbly sharp and the colours are bright and
vivid. The overall brightness of the image is also outstanding! I’ve been projecting onto a
plain white wall ( light grey screens are usually better for image quality due to the light spill.),
however this projector is fantastic and I didn’t notice any light spill, like I have with many
other projectors.
I blew the image up to the largest wall I have available at around 10ft wide and it was
awesome!
Accessories:
The projector comes with a really nice transportation bag, its seems to be
extremely well made and I would compare it to a gaming laptop bag. It has plenty of space
inside for additional cables, dongles and other peripheral devices like hard drives. The
backpack straps allow for easy carrying anywhere and are a nice touch.
Having windows everywhere in your house usually means that projectors are not the usual preference as most react very poorly to a well lit room and won’t display properly, however this one works even in the lightest of our rooms.
This now sits in our living room looking onto a large white wall we left blank for this specific reason giving a huge screen for projecting onto, so much bigger than your usual 50-60″ TV, i haven’t measured it, but it’s huge. The display is crystal clear and we can watch full HD with a full cinema experience with none of the expense of the food at the cinema.
It has loads of connectivity options with a HDMI port, a USB port and even plug ins for audio and bluetooth, i doubt there are many devices you couldn’t connect via cable, but then of course you have a wifi connection too, if you want android connectivity then you can just plug in a chromecast or firestick and it’s done, although it does have miracast with reduced lag times on it which works well too, i just prefer the convenience of casting instead.
