Aveeno Face CALM+RESTORE® Triple Oat Serum, 24-Hour

I bought this as a serum I can take when I travel to keep up my skincare routine. It has a nice smell, a bit like almond extract. It has a nice texture too, and quickly sets into the skin. Really happy with this.

Nice and cooling especially after using an active product, or for around tired eyes. Not scented (that I can tell and I’m scent sensitive), andcseens to sink on rather than drying on top of skin.

Purchased as part of the entire calm & restore range hoping it would help calm my hormonal skin.

This is the consistency you’d expect from a serum, lightweight and silky. It’s unscented and glides onto skin so smoothly. You only need a little as it goes a long way. I used this after cleansing and before the day moisturising cream. In terms of application, it’s brilliant. You can definitely layer multiple creams and oils after using this serum and there’s no pilling. Love that. It also feels like a great product to throw in your handbag on the go. For those with greasy skin, it’s suitable for use alone, especially in summer months. It leaves skin feeling hydrated without any greasy residue. I suffer from dry skin so need to use a more substantial moisturiser afterwards. I use morning and evening and so far have noticed more hydrated skin.

Only just started using this product, will see how it goes. So far so good, might edit review in a few weeks if any changes.

I’ve tried more expensive brands but found a lot of them to be either too highly scented or that they made my face feel quite tight. This Aveeno oat serum is perfect for me, it’s non scented and feels nice to apply, only a small amount is needed so the bottle will last for some time. I apply it after cleansing and while my skin is still damp and then wait a few mins and apply the matching oat moisturiser and it keeps my face feeling soft and is the perfect base to then apply makeup. If you’re looking for a non scented serum that’s gentle on skin but still very effective and at a great price too, I can definitely recommend trying this.

I have extremely dry skin, so I love to use this under a moisturiser to help prevent flaky skin. I also have really sensitive skin, and the serum helps to calm it down. I’m on my third bottle already!

This discreet little bottle has been a great addition to my routine. Leaves my skin feeling silky and nourished without any heaviness. Absorbs well and has a nice texture. It would be easy to walk past this product on a shelf as the packaging is quite discreet but if you see it give it a go. Would recommend!

I first started buying Aveeno after my doctor recommended it for my children who suffer with infant eczema, but now the whole house hold use it. Their products are made from oatmeal, so it helps to moisturise and protect even the most sensitive skin.

I was so excited to see they had made a face serum, as the other products I’ve tried in the range have been perfect for my skin. This is the Aveeno Face Calm and Restore Triple Oat Serum. Upon my very first use, my face felt instantly smoother, soothed and moisturised. It is lightweight, so fast-absorbing and perfect for morning or nighttime use. The biggest benefit for me it it is non irritating and actually calms my skin, leaving it feeling and looking restored and balanced.

I loved this, my skin can sometimes get in a bit of a red and sore and this worked wonders at calming it right down. It applied great without being too sticky as serums can sometimes be. I followed it with my favourite moisturiser and my skin was feeling back to normal really quickly. I loved it so much I have bought the moisturiser too.

The Aveeno Face Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum was lovely and soothing for my sensitive and blemish proned skin. I’m always concerned when trying new products as I’m worried about how my skin will react – usually a new product means a new blemish! However, this product felt great. The serum made my skin feel soft and soothed. I had no adverse reactions and my blemishes appeared to calm after use. I would happily continue to use this product.

Initial textural feel of the Aveeno Face Calm + Restore Triple Oat Serum is very pleasant and the right consistency for a serum- not so thin it drops before you can apply it or so thick that it’s claggy in anyway. The fragrance is minimal which is my preference and it applies easily and absorbs rapidly. I did find that my face felt the tiniest bit tight initially but that settled quickly and overall my skin does look nourished and improved.
