PRO:
– Cubo aperto che stimola la ricerca, l’esplorazione e le meccaniche motorie;
– Meccaniche d’inserimento/ricerca oggetti a tre livelli: Elastici paralleli, incrociati ed a forma(lettere,forme geometriche);
– Giocattolo pratico e portatile;
– Gioco sicuro (le forme sono mediamente abbastanza grandi);
– Materiali resistenti;
CONTRO:
– Consigliamo sempre la supervisione durante il gioco di un adulto;
– Andrebbero inserite le certificazioni rispetto ai materiali utilizzati;
CONCLUSIONI:
Giocattolo utilissimo e veramente molto carino. Favorisce e stimola le funzioni cognitive e l’esperienza motoria. Il prezzo in offerta sicuramente un plus. Andrebbero messe in maggiore risalto le certificazioni di sicurezza.
I was looking for a shape sorter that was ‘open’ i.e. the child can see what has happened to the shapes once they have been put into the box. My child had been using an ‘open’ sorter at nursery and it made sense to me that children would like to see where the objects are going in order to understand how to use the toy.
This particular sorter has 3 levels – with strings across in one direction, criss-cross and then the more traditional shape sorter. At 12 months my child loves pulling the blocks out and putting them back in via the first (easiest) level. This is well made, portable and I am sure that we are going to get lots of use/entertainment from it.
I looked at other similar toys but bought this one because of the different levels of difficulty and value for money. Highly recommend – I will be buying more as first birthday gifts.
My little one (14 months) enjoyed playing with this toy. It makes a great noise when shaken which he loves. It’s easy for him to take the pieces in and out, which keeps his attention more.
The elastic strings make it a bit different from other shape sorting toys. It’s very lightweight, which makes it feel cheap possibly but I’m happy with the quality. I can’t testify for how well it holds up after lots of play.
I like that it is quick and easy to tidy away, with all the pieces stored inside the cube.
Recommended age on the box is 18 months+ but definitely suitable for younger babies too.
At the time of writing, it was 13.99 with a discount – so not too bad. The full price was 17.99, which I think is definitely too expensive for what it is.
Great gift for the little man, hopefully stands the test of time
Its all the things you want for a 1yr old inquizical little girl …
My granddaughter was given this for her 1st birthday, I was surprised at how long it kept her amused
Bought as a Christmas present…really good quality, hopefully the child will love i
This is a very reasonable quality toy, which is said to be suitable for babies from 12 months, I would push the age up a little for the shape sorting, but for pushing the toys through the netting it is fine.
The shape sorter toy allows for development of fine motor skills and shape recognition, as your baby can push through letters and shapes on one side of the toy, or push and pull them through the netting on the other sides.
The toy comes with four shapes, four letters A-D and six other textured shape blocks.
They are all made of plastic, with the letters and shapes being chunky and durable.
At time of review, the toy is reasonably priced at just over 13.50.
I got this for my youngest niece and she absolutely loves it, my brother has to take it everywhere with them when they go out as she loves it s much!
She took to it immediately so I think the manufacturer knows what babies like!
It’s well made from very durable plastic that looks like it’ll last until the end of time!
Excellent value for money at a shade under 17 at the time of writing!
I’m really happy with this brilliant little first toy.
Gets taken as a travel toy to keep the 1 year old entertained anywhere anytime. Different sides are used at different stages of development so this has been used for months and has a lot of interest left to develop
Bought this for my 9 month old. He LOVES it. It’s taken him a month of trial and error to work out how to get the pieces out and has really kept him entertained. He’s so proud of himself now he’s finally worked it out. He likes rattling it, playing with just the pieces themselves and lobbing it. Can’t fault it.
My toddler (2) has really enjoyed this toy.
He loves to play this game with it, and ask me what shape he is holding. This is often followed with him intentionally “putting” in in the wrong shape, and turning to me and asking, “thiiiis one?”
It’s been great fun for him and he loves storing his shapes and letters in the centre bit.
Would reccomend for kids who are learning and for hand-eye coordination.
This is great the letters numbers are nice and chunky toy can wash them easily to keep them clean
It keeps baby/ toddler occupied and using there skills and senses a fun way to interact with them
I’ve never seen a toy like this on any high street store but I have no doubt they’d sell out if they did.
Such a simple concept where there’s elastic strung around a frame and basically toddlers can push their hands through and get the shapes out to then put in again.
My 17 month old granddaughter plays with this every single time she’s over (2–3 times a week) and it’s one of her favourite toys – she’s now started putting her little animals in and shaking them inside the elastic shaped box and erupts in fits of giggles
Highly recommend this unusual but very entertaining game
A simple yet well made product, completely sturdy as a cube structure so no worries about safety or item durability here.
The shapes all go into their own sections, and made so each one can’t accidentally go through another slot which I like. They are easy to retrieve from the rear where the elastic side is, again all totally safe and easy for 2+ kids to play with with little help.
Very competitive price.
I love this toy, simple but really does keep him busy x
This toy is brilliant for little ones, very good for learning colours, shapes and letters. My little boy loves it, very vibrant and durable. Good quality and a good price.
I knew my little one would love this when I saw it in a popular toy shop. He loves pushing things in holes! So this is a favourite toy. Some of the shapes for the sorting part are a bit small so be careful if your little one likes to put things in their mouths. The rest of the “box” is made of elastic threads so the toddlers can push the shapes in and take them out easily- perfect for that first awareness of shapes as they don’t need to line them up perfectly with the holes. My little one is almost a year and loves this toy
I really like this baby sorter. I have had a few before and this is my favourite. It’s a simple design but the strings around it make it easy to place the shapes inside and my baby can push his hand in an pull them out.
Shapes and letters are included A – D and square triangle circle and star. Good for little ones just learning the first few letters and shapes. They are all plastic so easy to clean with antibac or wash. Would recommend.
Shape sorters usually require a good manual dexterity beyond most babies and toddlers. By the time they get dexterous enough to be able to put the correct shape in the correct hole, they are usually less interested in putting things in and out of places.
this is great as even a child with poor hand-eye coordination should be able to get the shapes through the elastic strips. They will be able to get them in and out quite easily and repeat this which gives the baby/toddler a lot of satisfaction while they learn more control over their hands.
A lovely little toy. It is one that you could pop in a bag to take out and about when visiting and it will keep a baby amused for quite a while.
Great colours and easy to use. They’re perfect for children 6 -12 months to help them establish monitoring skills. And a bit later on, it can help to teach them first letters of alphabet and colours. All items are light and easy to grab. All pieces fit nicely inside so it keeps things tidy too.
