A little lag but is accurate and you can use them while charging. Pleased.

Good – 4 stars as the battery behaviour is not consistent, but plenty of capacity nevertheless.

I’ve just been getting into home barista-ing and want to find decent scales without paying a ridiculous amount. This nailed it! Sleak design and nicely packaged item. Comes with a rubber Matt, although only annoying part is that it only has a lip on one side so when moving around it does come off. Not a big issue though. Big clear LCD display with touch button. Accurate weighing and bonus for having a timer too. I’d say it would easy fit under a espresso machine like the Sage Barista xpress or pro. Overall a great entry product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersNot the most accurate or consistent, as they tend to drift slightly over time if you leave something on them. But they’re accurate enough to get the job done when cooking of brewing coffee. You don’t need pharmaceutical accuracy for that. The display is bright and clear. I only wish they had gone for regular old fashioned clicky buttons as opposed to the touch interface, as that can go wrong if your fingers are wet.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI rarely leave review, but this was a must. After reading some reviews which seemed to be slightly negative – especially around accuracy and the ‘auto-off feature – I took the plunge and ordered. I needed a very accurate scales for chasing the perfect espresso extraction, and I must say this is superb! Extremely accurate and quick to update with flowing coffee when placed on my machine. The timer function is also really good and the touch controls very sensitive. Really happy for 15!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersScale, weights stuff, gets the job done.
Silicone matt is pointless to have, can’t store vertically to save space on the counter, no auto-timer function, there’s a countdown function but does’t ring when done.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersThis has everything you need for a coffee scale. It’s got a timer, it’s accurate to 0.1 grams, and that’s it. Build quality could be better, it feels pretty light, but it’s not so big of a deal that I’d be willing to spend 10+ more for something better built. If you’re new to coffee and need a scale, this is a great place to start.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersUsed for weighing coffee beans and other cooking measurements. Works great for price, seems more than sensitive enough and responsive for my needs. Timed the auto off at 5m:11secs +- 1 sec multiple times. And i can confirm that when the timer is active the device stays on. After 19mins i turned it off.

Does this compare to a top end scale? Probably not. Only time will tell if this product will carry on performing like it does.
    Used daily multiple times.

I didn’t think it would be as good as it is.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersAmazon clearly states in the description that this item comes complete with the required batteries included, unfortunately they are not, I don’t know how accurate or easy to use these scales are, as I’m returing them as a matter of principle.

Love this little compact coffee scale.
Originally purchased because we got a coffee dripper, this scale has now become ideal for all sorts of uses around the kitchen. We not only use it for coffees, but also measuring out portions for meals (diets / fasting) as well as weighing ingredients for baking.

Easy to use with a clear screen and accurate readings. What more can you ask for?

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThe scales are a nice looking set of scales. They seem to weigh accurately and consistently as I’m weighing 50g of meal shake twice a day on them and it’s always the same ish vol of scoops.

The rubber mat over the top that you can wash and has dimples in it to stop liquid running too far is also pretty nice.

3 aaa batteries makes them easier to replace than those annoying coin cells.

Timer seem to work fine but it’s not something I use

My only problem is that the feet where unbalanced and it had a little bit of rocking when it came to me. Will be ok with a little filling down but my cheaper set where atleast flat to the surface

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersI loved these scales. I used them to measure out epoxy resin to get the ratios correct. They measure as you pour and it’s easy to be accurate to 0.1g

They are small, lightweight, easy to use with a nice display. I’m really happy with this purchase and it’s accuracy. The epoxy cured well so the ratios must have been spot o

There are a lot of coffee scales in this price range, and to my knowledge, none of them have advanced features like timers that auto-start when the first drip hits the bottom of the cup. The best you can hope for in this price range is accuracy and responsiveness, and these scales really deliver on that front.
I have no problem getting my ratios right with these scales, so I can definitely recommend them for making espresso, and if they work for that, they’d be perfect for use with V60 or other pourover techniques.
Where they do fall down, and this purely applies to use in espresso making, is that they are quite thick, so they don’t fit easily under my portafilter, even on the lower drip tray (I have a Delonghi Dedica EC685), so I have to pull espresso into a 3oz double shot glass, and that just barely fits. However, when my bottomless portafilter arrives, there will be more headroom, so they should be fine, and I might even be able to pull espresso directly into a low profile 6oz cup on them – handy for my morning cortado.
While it would be nice to have an auto-timer function, I don’t think it’s worth the extra cost, so I can see myself sticking with these scales for the foreseeable future.

    Highly recommended.
