Plugged in the cable from a Windows 11 laptop usb 3 type A to second monitor VGA, downloaded the drivers from their site (a CD is included as well) and the second monitor screen came on with excellent picture quality. Perfect!
Good value and decent quality. Compatible with windows 11 – My second monitor was up and running just under 2 min. Downloaded the driver from BENFEI’s website and installed it, then connected the cable and monitor worked without any issues at 1920 x 1080 resolution. (you need to ensure your laptop / PC has USB 3 / SS A type or else you will get a 800 x 600 low resolution. I would highly recommend this product.
Could not connect to work laptop due to work security
Important that this is plugged into a USB socket direct in your machine and not into a hub. Comes with a driver that works well with Windows 11. Good product.

Bought to link a laptop to a bigger screen. Works great.
L’installation des drivers est simple pas besoin du cd les tapes d’installation sont :
1-Branchez votre cble votre cran puis branchez l’autre bout votre ordinateur attention votre ordinateur doit comporter un port usb 3.0 ou suprieur
2-Une fentre va s’ouvrir puis double-cliquez sur le fichier correspondant votre systme d’exploitation : Windows, Mac OS…
3-Votre ordinateur va demander redmarrer laissez branch le cble et une fois redmarr votre ordinateur affichera une image sur votre cran faite windows+p pour paramtrer ou faites clic droit sur le bureau et cliquez sur paramtre d’affichage et faites vos rglages.
Bref a fait la 3me sorte d’adaptateur que j’achte et celui l est le bon et c’est du 1080p condition d’avoir un port usb 3.0 ou suprieur ! fuyez les adaptateur usb>hdmi 15euros a ne marche pas!

The office has a scanner that’s not being used. This USB to VGA cable fitted to PC quickly and set up instant. Also used to connect the scanner to a laptop. In both cases worked straight away with no need to change any settings.
Data transfer fast and as expected. Cable made from good quality materials.

I got this to replace my old one and I needed a new VGA to USB cable to hook up a work laptop to a monitor and this did the trick.

Easy to use, plug and play
Worked like a charm
Like many people, I discovered that my new laptop was missing some of the old connection ports which I had become accustomed to. In this particular case I needed a cable to link my laptop to my projector.
This cable looked to be a perfect solution for what I needed although setting it up required a little effort.
Firstly, it didn’t work for me as a plug and play device and whilst the cable comes supplied with a mini-CD with the driver, my modern laptop has no CD reader, so this is a complete waste of time, effort and materials on the part of the manufacturer.
Instead, I visited the web-site as printed on the packaging and within a minute or two had the correct driver installed and from that point the cable connected quickly and recognises the input/ output devices and is operating without any issues.
The cable itself and the connections at each end feel like they are good quality and seem well made.
So, in conclusion, if you need to solve a connection issue with devices like a projector and a laptop then this could be a good choice – it’s working well for me.
This lead consists of a USB-A connector (USB 3.0) at one end, and a decent 15 pin VGA connector at the other. There’s a small inline unit in the middle.
Connecting to my Windows 10 machine after installing the driver it was recognised straight away. I hooked up an old VGA monitor and it then acted as a third monitor on my system (albeit at a lower resolution). I can run my two 4K monitors at full resolution and the 3rd VGA monitor at a lower resolution.
Cable comes with a minidisc with drivers. And who has a drive for minidiscs, I wonder. However, I found the driver easily on the Benfei website, downloaded it, ran it – and off we went. Perhaps Benfei could think of including a leaflet about their download site, rather than a minidisc?
