I bought a set about 2 years ago and was very happy with them, i recently bought another set just to top up my original set, having teenagers means some of my forks and spoons “disappeared ” again I’m very pleased with them. Beautiful colour, I don’t have a dishwasher so I only ever wash them with a washing up sponge which means they don’t get scratched so they are still in great condition.
I wash them in the dishwasher and they hold must fine. They look very luxurious and I only get compliments from my guests. If they would have come in a nicer box/packaging you could offer them as a really nice gift.
These are great – theyre a little light but don’t feel flimsy persay. I’m not sure how long the gold tone will last but at this price I don’t mind replacing them within reason. Reccomend!
The shrink wrap black plastic coating on the cutlery after 3 months I’ve a hole in the black plastic which you will see in photo. They me to sending them back, but then I’d have no cutlery to eat with.
I bought these to replace a similar but cheaper set that I’d bought from a bargain store.
You can tell straight away these are better quality and they look great. I’ve had several compliments on them. Look more expensive than they are!
I have noticed some of the gold is either missing or has come off on one of the spoons after only a week of using.
Nice shape and design but several items had faults so will be contacting suppliers for replacement or refund
Had this product for over 6 months now , no change to the quality no paint scratches just look as amazing as I did the day I got them. They are a nice shiney gold with an amazing finish. The teaspoons are amazing in every single way would highly recommend if you want nice cutlery that don’t look tacky for a cheap price !
I have been looking for right set of gold cutters for quite a long time. I wasn’t sure between gold or black but those presents definitely much better This design I liked the most. I love them. They look very gentle gold and look good in elegant dinning room design. They are very original and the most important my husband won’t leave them at work anymore that was our main goal 🙂 They have been little scratchy after arrived but after long time of using it I can say that they are lovely and sturdy. Nothing happened to them with day by day usage. I would recommend this item.
I love the colour of the set I have got so many compliments over it. BUT not a year later the spoons have lost their rose gold colour. I would have expected this to happen after a few years.
This rainbow set is simply beautiful. I am so pleased with them. Came quickly and safely. Buying another set as a friend saw mine and loved them so getting them as a gift. Yes packaging isn’t the greatest for gifts but the contents are amazing!!
Thought I would do a review after I’d used these for some time – 18 months to be exact and they have not fared well. About 3 months in the trouble started the black began to bubble peel and crack off the metal. So for long term daily use and washing in a dishwasher they didn’t fair well. Now there not expensive or the cheapest so for the price I’m disappointed and although it says they are suitable for the dishwasher I would disagree. Best used for best only and washed by hand to get longer use!
I’ve waited a while to leave a review of these since I wanted to see how long they would last. I bought 2 sets of the brass toned cutlery about a year ago (there are 2 in our household but we have a dishwasher). I’d say for the first 8/10 months, they were really good but have started to deteriorate over the last few months and some of the cutlery is completely silver. Some pieces are still fine while others are totally tarnished, particularly the spoons. To be honest, I think they are still good value for money and I think it’s reasonable to get that length of time out of the sets. I’ll be buying again in the coming weeks.
The cutlery is lovely and has a lovely look to it, its lovely amd bright,. it washes well and dosnt lose its sparkle, i have a feeling i will get a good few years out of the cutlery as it is very well made..
Reason for giving it 4 stars is the following
1.. Its well made cutlery and is different from the normal silver/ different colour handled cutlery. But at 23.99 a thought it was just a tad over priced.
2.. At the price a would have expected it to come in some sort of fancy packaging or a nice box like u get when you buy supermarket cutlery sets.. But it came crammed into a wee brown box with cello tape at the top and bottom to keep it closed. Expected a little better considering the price of the cutlery..
All in all it is a very nice cutlery and is a nice addition 2 my kitchen..
Bit am only giving the 4 stars, maybe im being a bit picky with the packaging just expected a little more at the price.
The colours are a bit too gold for my liking. But got a lot more for my money than in the shops. Spoons are a bit sharpish around the edges. I’m quite satisfied with the amount I received for the cost and they are very good quality in terms of sturdiness.
In black this set has a nice sheen to it, but it doesn’t look like cheap black plastic kitchen gadgets usually do, but instead has a more sophisticated look to it, and really helps set apart your dining table from any others your guests will dine at.
We have these pared with a simple cream stoneware set of plates and the contrast is excellent, however I may switch to a white set of plates. If we can find a matching, high-quality looking black stoneware set then I think this would really set apart our dinner table.
Price-wise, you’re paying a premium for a premium product. I passed by a cutlery set at Asda recently that was 5, but there is no comparison and this set makes a much better impression on guests.
Time will tell if they really hold up, but the titanium plating seems strong a durable so far, so I’m not worried. I’ll enjoy my quirky black cutlery for years to come.
I bought it to match a set of wine glasses and placemats I got from Debenhams for Xmas last year,in black mirrored silver, only to realise ( when setting the table) that my silverware didn’t match. So, when I saw this, I jumped on it. When it came, just shoved in a box, in plastic sleeves each piece, with a rubber band…I was ready to request a return, seriously. That was until I took the first fork out of the sleeve – it’s heavy, it’s high-polish, it’s great quality and it shines. It has thus luxurious feel and look. And it matches my glasses perfectly.
