This is such a great game and is something we enjoy so much as a family that we keep it next to our dining table so we can play after most meals.
It’s comes on all trips with us and the superb artwork even inspired us to make our own personalised version.

The card design is excellent.
I was very excited to get this as a friend had recommended it. I bought it to play with my son,12, daughter 7 and husband over Christmas. The first thing I have to say it is the best art I have ever seen in a game and we spent ages just looking at all 75 emotion characters as everyone is different. My children just fell in love with them and thought they were so cool how they represented each feel and emotion so perfectly. This alone had them entertained and it was a great tool to just explain all the different emotions and when you may feel them.
The box is a great size, as many board games are big and yet contain very little. The quality of every component is excellent and to a very high standard. You even get a free full collection emotion poster, again great for the kids.
The cards truly WOW you, and the Rule book is fantastic and easy to understand.
The idea is the first player to get all the happiness (cards) wins the game feeling super happy, and in order to do this you take turns to play one of your emotions from your hand to another player causing them to react to it in order to build a more positive powerful set of emotions so you can get the happiness. It’s so engaging and strategic on a light level, as you need to work out how to deal with certain emotions and how you can turn negatives into positives to win the game.
It was an emotional rollercoaster of laughter, joy, smugness, jealousy, shock and panic, and surprise, and every emotion in between. It’s the first game we’ve played where you feel an emotional experience where you can relate to what you are playing.
I played it just with my husband and it was so funny. It really is a must have for any family. My son and daughter love playing it together and you can see their mood lift. A really awesome game.
The playing cards and beautifully designed and printed (my favourite is the Ninja), so you definitely get what you pay for. The box also comes with a cool little fold out poster that’s handy when you’re still learning how to play.
Our new favourite family game. Initially the game seemed complicated, but after one play we were hooked. My daughter loves the graphics as well.
The artwork is colourful, witty and fantastically drawn (and they even include a poster with all the card artwork!). This is a great game for families and friends, and would be a great filler game if you’re a board game hobbiest!
