Firstly, forget the bad reviews. They are by no means the normal. Sometimes things go a bit wrong. Finite.
As soon as you pick up the box you know you’re on to a winner with these. Heavy sturdy and robust. Expensive but worth it.
These feel great in the hand and seem to actually be made of steel (not crappite as some cheaper tools are).
I would like the handles to be a bit longer, as they are more a general plier length, not a heavy duty plier length – i.e. they are 6″ pliers, not 8″. I’m sure the quality of the tools would handle the extra force you can put through a longer handle length on the pliers.
Well made set with a great finish.
These aren’t large tools more of a medium build which was just perfect for my application.

Soft comfortable handles, solid build and extremely well made. A faultless, high quality product and fully recommended.
Nothing to dislike about this set. I got them for around 30 and for this quality I find them a bargain. I’ve used CK for years and find these equally as good and feel better in the hand.
Not a bad set of pliers for the money, I would recommend. Come in a useful sturdy vacuum formed tray to go in your tool box if needed.
All of my power tools are Bosch so had to have these. The pliers are excellent, have used them a lot. Unfortunately, the side cutters are not very sharp and won’t cut electrical cable cleanly – when you hold them up to the light a clear gap between the edges can be seen. I got the set on sale so was worth it just for the very good standard and long nose pliers.
These were on special so treated myself. Came in a cardboard ‘presentation box’, where they were on display, so not useful for keeping them in (not important to me).
They are solid and feel precise and well made the finish is good.
They work, they close completely and holding up to the light, there are no gaps on the wire cutting surfaces.
Snipping off electrical wire, they are accurate. The cut is where it should be, not 2 mm either side, and the snip has a reassuring snip, just what Steve McQueen would have wanted when trying to get through the Stalag Luft III wire.
The handles are insulated for any fun with live electrical current, and they cushioned and shaped to not be tiresome from a lot of use.
I believe these will last my lifetime providing I don’t loose them or they get pinched.
