Good value but basic. No specific trimmer unlike my previous Ronson. However, this might be an advantage as there are less mechanicals to clog.
Otherwise, does what it’s supposed to do without fuss

The length settings on this trimmer is a very good addition. this is the second Braun beard trimmer I have purchased. They are reliable and easy to use. I always buy Braun. I am on my second Series 3 Shaver too.

I bought this so he can start to manage body hair. After showing him how it works he says it’s great!
Price was fair, and I trust Braun products.
It’s a cheaper unit and fine for my growing-up son.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought the Braun BeardTrimmer 3 BT3323. Got this product for 24.99 and it is an amazing product. Used it once and i got a good trim out of it. I love how you can choose the length of beard you want. It is very easy to use. Good accessories. Not been able to charge yet as need to get an adatper. Only let down it didnt come with a UK plug to charge it.

The battery failed on this unit after only a few months. I was obviously disappointed but after contacting Braun customer services they arranged for a free return of the item for inspection. After only a couple of weeks I heard back saying they were sending me a brand new replacement unit. I was kept informed be text the whole time. Thank you Braun for excellent customer service. I have only given 4 stars as initial unit failed. I give Braun 5 stars for customer service.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAs a clipper, this is perfectly OK. Does the job with no fuss.

On the negative side, the battery life is nowhere near what’s quoted. This wouldn’t matter much, were it not for the other problem:

The clipper is VERY VERY slow to charge up. Takes more than 12 hours, as far as I can tell.

As far as I can tell? Yes, it is also unfortunately impossible to tell when it is fully charged, as the indicator light on the charger NEVER goes out.

I have left the thing plugged in for a couple of days, just as an experiment, and the light does not go out. So how are you supposed to tell? Dunno…

Seems like a shame that a manufacturer such as Braun has skimped on something as important as the battery and charging.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersDoes the job so far. Unfortunately has problems with motor but I’ve owned a lot of braun products so I know this is a one off.

Braun were very helpful on the phone when I asked for help getting this to the service centre, which must be commended.

Pretty good, makes short work of several day old stubble and is easy to handle / charge. As ever the nose / ear trimmer is next to useless but I have never found one (albeit a cheap one) that is any good. There is a nose wax set on amazon that’s very good and well priced if that’s important to you but slightly gross to use – body hair of most varieties and its disposal generally is

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis beard trimmer has its good and bad sides.

    The good:

    The price
    It’s easy to use
Comes with plenty of shaving options

    The bad:

    Battery is poor
Comes with a two pin plug

This is definitely better than my previous beard trimmer, the blades are better and there’s loads of shaving options. The nose trimmer is awful though it pulls rather than cuts so this in my experience is to be avoided.

The battery isnt that good, I think I had probably 3 beard trims out of it before charging, the charging takes ages as well. The shaver comes with a two pin shaving plug, I’m lucky I do have a shaving socket but a lot don’t. It’s easily solved with an adapter but this is extra expense.

Overall, good shaver let down by a poor battery

I cut my own hair and beard, so I buy one of the cheapest haircutters I can find, and, as long as I get 2/3 cuts ouf of them, I save money, barbers are expensive these days and there’s no point paying 10 plus for a grade 1 or 2 buzzcut all over my head – no skill needed here!
This is, as all of them do, a very powerful, clean cut fresh out of the box, this tends to wimper down as the battery dies a slow, painful death but, so far, so good. There’s a great array of good quality plastic grade things and even a specific cover for hair cutting, the beard trim covers tend to clog with a lot of hair as I found out…
Loses one star as it’s only got an EU plug, which isn’t the end of the world if you have a UK converter like I do, but is something you should be aware of. Crucially, and a bit of a downer, you must ensure you charge it WELL BEFORE cutting your hair, as you can’t use it while it’s plugged in and charging and if the charge dies mid haircut…yeah, you’re up the creek without a charge!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAs others have said, it’s slow to charge, and doesn’t seem to respond to a quick “boost” when you’re in a hurry for a trim that won’t take more than a minute or so. Shame there’s no switch to divert power from the charger direct to the motor, rather than into the battery.

But it is so much easier to use and more versatile than the trimmer I have been using that for me, it is worth the wait. The attachments slide on and off with a positive feel and don’t feel like they are going to snap off the plastic tabs that hold them on which was the trouble with the old trimmer – not a Braun. It was always a struggle to get them on and off, sometimes ending with painful jabs of the cutters into a finger or three, and not good if the thing responded to an accidental touch on the small on/off-switch at the same time! The Braun is so much safer in this respect.

All I have to do now is make my brain coordinate with my arthritic hands and learn how to point the thing in the right direction when trying to reach things with my left hand which can’t be reached with the right.

I simply can’t understand the complaints here about the plug not fitting. The trimmer charger uses a standard razor plug, as do all bathroom-safe mains powered personal appliances. Every electric shaver I have had for the last 50 years of whatever brand has used the same two pin plug. To use it in a standard UK socket you need a fused shaver adapter (several available on Amazon), but a properly equipped bathroom should come with one built into the wall or a light fighting near the mirror. All hotels have them. The pin size and spacing is not the same as the old British domestic two pin plug used for lights and so in times gone by. Shaver sockets are different, for safety reasons.

Overall, a nice typical Braun product. Only problem is the on/off switch is very tight and needs two thumbs to operate it. Same with changing the head you want to use, very tight to remove and when fitting they need a good shove to get it right in or it won’t switch on. However, I think constant use will loosen the switch and head mounts. On the other hand, shaving/trimming is superb. I am only using the trimmer head that it comes fitted with and the nose/ear trimmer. In both modes it really does a good job making the problems not so annoying as I believe it will sort itself out. A 10 hr recharge is quoted so would have to rearrange your shaving habits to suit. I’m not stuck for 10 hrs.
