The bottle is nice to hold, not too heavy and I love having filtered water on the go. It’s easy to clean and helps me make sure I’m drinking enough wate

Excellent for hiking for running. I can refill it everywhere as the filter provides a very clean water. I am very satisfied with this product. I recommended it to family and friends. They are also very satisfied with it.

Literally don’t go anywhere without it flows really well through the filter and really durable as I destroy most things pretty quickly I face was gutted as I left it out let it freeze and dropped it smashing the top cover lid makes no difference in function just would keep mouth price clean when cycling through mud and filth

Bought one each for my daughter and me. We both dislike tap water as it tastes metallic. This has been a game changer! Works perfectly, makes tap water taste so much better. My daughters school has a strict water only policy and this bottle has helped massively. Would happily buy more.

Great quality product producing a nice quantity of great tasting filtered water that comes out from either sucking for bursts Or squeezing for a good flow, quenching your thirst. Fast dispatch & delivery, arriving in secure packaging. I purchased another to give to my grandson whom, because of me, also refuses to drink/use tap water for anything but bathing, now he can leave my one alone =). Being able to purchase spare filters at a good price means this bottle will last a long time, also meaning no more buying bottled water, reducing our platic, Bonus!.. Very pleased and highly recommend.

Perfect invention for instant filtered water on the go It’s light in weight with a soft rubber handle and a lid that can be used as a cup I guess but fits on the bottom nicely and doesn’t come off whether jogging or sat on the side. It is leakproof, as long as you remember to push the mouthpiece back down before putting the lid back on.
I don’t think there’s a chance this will split or crack either due to the material used for the bottle, squashy and ligh

Was sceptical at first but honestly it really works. I got the little tablet filter and soaked in water for sixty seconds as recommended. It doesn’t soften it but it does seem to make it easier for you to suck water through it first time. I filled with water and took a sip straight away and thought to myself that it “probably” does the job. Then I immediately drank a small mouthful of tap water before drinking the filtered water again. It DEFINITELY does the job. No waiting forgot to be filtered it just works there and then and tastes tons better. I fill this up at night and leave in the fridge. Then using a water monitoring app it reminds me to drink every 90 minutes. So what I do is drink an entire bottle of water in 30 minutes or so and then refill and place in the fridge for another hour. And do that through the day from breakfast till tea time. It’s an incredible device. Not just a water bottle!

I am on medication that requires me to drink loads and loads of water (stimulants).

I started to buy the cheapest one in a shop near my work and slowly that started adding up and then to drag it to the office.. was honestly looking for a regular water filter to keep at work and stumbled upon this.

I was hesitant at first, but oh my i am happy i got it.
Still feels weird to drink from wherever, but it tastes great. Honestly i love it. And its not leaking if you make sure to tightly close it (as it has a few layers to keep the filter in, i can see how someone would struggle a bit with getting used to it).

    Highly recommend!

I held off for a long time regarding buying a water bottle. I kept making due with jugs, large glasses and other vessels.

I finally took a chance and bought this. It was the most moderately priced one with the best reviews. And being from britta I trusted they used non harmful plastics in the product.

It’s been amazing. I personally don’t use the filters as my home tap gives nice tasting water. I no longer have to regularly clean my water bottle like in the past because this is a closed system plus grease or food doesn’t get stuck in grooves as the water comes out of the tip.

Flexible, leak proof. Good flap for holding also. Perfect. Great upgrade to make shift water vessels I had in past.

I love my bottle, I take with me everywhere, all the time.
Is really rewarding to know that I am drinking clean water, without plastic from reusable bottles on it and/or the environment.
I really love it and recommend it!!
It’s a favour for yourself and the planet.

    What a great idea !
However let’s point out the obvious problem, the lid/cup,solid plastic not flexi plastic like the bottle, when the lid is on it’s so tight to the drinking spout it creates a stress point and a solid plastic lid right where the lid has a point inside the lid, which in turn if it gets dropped will cause the lid to shatter.
We bought three bottles and it’s happened to two so far,one that my 7 year old accidentally dropped and one that slid out of a webbing holder on a rucksack.
Now the biggest problem is Brita don’t have replacement lids,so now the lid is broken there’s no way to protect the drinking spout,
Great idea just can’t understand why the lid isn’t made of the same plastic as the bottle would be almost indestructible then,as it’d bounce rather than shatter
Also I will admit the newer metal bottles keep drinks colder longer, would be interesting to see a filter bottle that’s metal

5.0 out of 5 stars Weak lid, great bottle

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI originally purchased the Brita Vital bottle and unless they have changed it’s design, this Active bottle is vastly superior. The Vital bottle is rigid and therefore relies on you sucking the water through the filter which sounds fine but in reality leaves you drinking 75% air bubbles and some dribbles of water.

The Active bottle is squeezable which means you can force the water through the filter and receive actually nice tasting water as though from a regular bottle. I work in an office with ancient water piping that tastes absolutely foul (everyone else likes it) but I have grown up drinking filtered water and am perhaps spoilt by and used to the taste. This successfully filters out all of the taste and makes the water taste pleasant and smooth.

I cannot comment on the longevity too much as I don’t use it every single day, but I have kept the filter in for at least 3 months without a noticeable degradation in taste. I do however clean the bottle properly daily and lightly rinse the filter.

I have been using it daily for over a year now. I am very happy that I don’t have to worry about running out of bottled water and plastic waste. It is definitely a big help at the airport as all you have to do is empty your bottle before going through and fill it back in at a water point before your flight.
It is so good to have cold water all the time, no need to worry about cooling down bottles in the fridge – just fill my Brita with fresh cold water from the tap!
Disks are getting a bit expensive at the moment, but compared to spending money on bottled water it is still cheaper and more convenient option.

Great to take with you wherever you go. You can always fill it up with tap water and keep hydrating yourself. Much better than Bobble bottles as it is easier to drink from them (you can take bigger sips) and they do not make that hissing sound…Recommend!

Good product. Improves taste and is obviously cheaper than bottled water. The spout gets smelly sometimes but I just soak it in soapy water when I wash the bottle and it’s fine.

I have used this bitter before and bought an extra one. This is a a great lightweight filter bottle the filtered water tastes great too and the most important thing is the bottle does not leak. Filters last one month but can be bought in packs of three. I use this on holiday mostly.

Love this water bottle , fresh clean tasting water on the go. Only gripe is the plastic lid that covers the nozzle cracked within a day or two but this doesn’t really affect the usage. Would buy again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are OK. I say only Ok because of what I bought them for and the fact they don’t cut the mustard for that purpose and that alone. These were to replace bidons on my bike when I went abroad road cycling. Not pottering about but some hard work up mountains and long days in the saddle putting some max efforts in. I thought they would be ideal to use to fill up at taps around the routes I took without worrying about the taste of the water. Doing that job they are spot on. Gives a nice neutral flavour to the water not unlike Smartwater. But for the job of giving water to a mouth in desperate need and contending with a lung bursting effort then no. They don’t give up the water without a fight so even though you can squeeze them and suck them they don’t give a squirt on a par with a bidon so if you’re working hard it always seems to not give quite enough fast enough.
But, as a recreational bottle they are perfect. For the office, in your kids lunch bag or for a day out they are excellent. But for using on a bike, forget it. Oh and they are about 4mm smaller in diameter than a bidon so even though they will fit, the bidon cage won’t hold them secure

I don’t know why Brita have changed the design of this bottle. I much prefer it to their new one. I can take it out and about on nights out and for meals enabling me to safely drink the tap water they provide in these places without filling my self up on chlorine!!
The water comes through easily for drinking straight from the bottle of squirt it easily into a glass so you dont look like you’ve come straight from the gym!

Bought this for my son’s hiking trip and he prefers it to the other rigid Brita water bottle he has. However, the price of the replacement discs at around 4 each is too high compared to the thicker discs for the other bottle.
