This is such a useful tool for cat safety! Expands to fit in the window frame, and feel very safe and sturdy. Lets air and light in, keeps the flies out, and most of all, Sadie the cat is safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely perfect!

Used on windows with adhesive tape and has done the job very nicely (previous net was too flimsy) and windows open all the time now. Easy to lift up to close if necessary.

Great quality net, thick and strong.
We’re actually using it outside to stop leaves and bark from falling onto our deck but wanted something that won’t block visibility and this works great.

I purchased the BRO Fly Mosquito Net to tackle the persistent issue of fruit flies in my kitchen, and it has proven to be an effective solution. This simple yet clever product has helped me keep those pesky fruit flies at bay. The pros of using the BRO Fly Mosquito Net are evident: firstly, it is easy to install and fits snugly over bowls, plates, and other food items, providing a protective barrier against fruit flies. Secondly, the fine mesh material allows for proper airflow, ensuring my fruits and vegetables stay fresh while remaining safe from insect contamination. Lastly, the net is reusable and easy to clean, making it a convenient and environmentally-friendly choice. The only downside I have noticed is that it might not be suitable for larger food items or containers, limiting its versatility in some cases. Nevertheless, based on my user experience, I can confidently say that the BRO Fly Mosquito Net has been an excellent investment in combating fruit flies, providing me with a hassle-free and hygienic kitchen environment.

I like the firmness of this netting and that you can cut to size, the only negative in my opinion is that it doesn’t stick well to hook and loop velcro as it is, while the velcro holds firm. 5)3 net fell off the Velcro, so I had to stitch the velcro to the bet, had I realised that would be the case I would have purchase normal stitch velcro as stitching the sticky Velcro caused issues with my sewing machine needle – other than that great item

I ordered this to use to stop pesky bugs getting into our summer house, worked an absolute treat and still allows the building to breathe, good quality materials and easy to work with.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersStrong netting good quality thick and can see out clearly, wind flows beautifully through however it does not come with any thing to secure to window. Doesn’t fray when cut easy to cu

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI bought this type of screen as it could be cut to size. I’d rather screen a window opening rather than the whole thing. I found blue tack secured it tightly enough so no bugs got in, it’s then easy to remove and put back in place when windows are opened/closed. We now sleep safe in the knowledge we won’t be eaten alive…. The window openings have been screened for over a year. It’s easy to clean as it comes with a special brush. Barely see it from inside or out. Would recommend.

Seems very sturdy and well made.
I use it to cover an opening in my conservatory and this is perfect for the job.

    Note:
It’s fairly stiff, which works great for my use.
And would work great in a frame.

But if you need something more free flowing, using as a curtain, roll-up or something, I wouldn’t go for this.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our Usershis is a lifesaver for hot nights. very easy to trim. it did pong a bit when new but the smell went away after a couple of weeks. keeps out hairy spiders. does let in micro insects though. because it’s folded during transit the fold marks are noticeable. i tried rolling them into a tube then soaking them in hot water but marks did not disappear. it seems the folds are permanent.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersMy window is a tilt and turn, and operates by opening inward, which makes this product super easy to set and forget.

    How I did it:
Be sure to order double sided tape. 6mm seemed most ideal.
Clean around the surface you’re putting the tape (I used the included brush, and wiped down some bits too).
Might need to remove the rubber in places depending if you can get your fingers in the gaps.
I recommend cutting it so there’s not too much excess, but enough to deal with slight errors.
Roll it up, and start by sticking to the bottom of the window first, then peel off the backing of the sides and start unrolling and working your way up. I wouldn’t suggest completely pushing hard to stick it to the tape so you can actually stick another layer on top to clasp it a bit better after you’re done.

Pretty much it, such a nice feeling to not have to worry about bugs in my room when the lights on at night, or wasps and such coming in early mornings!

EDIT: Loses a star because midges/gnats seem to be small enough to get past the net.

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our UsersAbsolutely brilliant mesh. I’ve been using the cheaper material ones for years now but anytime there’s a bit of wind they rip, but this stuff is a much better material and a lot stronger and easier to cut. I did two 3ft windows and there was still enough left Over for another room. For me I only care about keeping spiders and bugs out and keeping my bedroom cool all year round so I use a spray glue that is normally used for sticking carpet down and it goes on really easy and it’s quick and doesn’t come unstuck, obviously this means that once the screen is on then it’s on permanently until I replace it which means leaving my window open all the time as I can’t unstick and restick it but that works fine for me. If you’re more concerned about leaving the window open then you’ll have to use a tape you can unstick each time you go out but Velcro Won’t work with this as it’s More of a plastic than a soft material but either way this stuff is fantastic and I’ll definitely be ordering again and again so I can feel safe without worrying about spiders/wasps/ flies invading my home and making me run screaming out my front door and never stopping like forest Gump. I’ve also sent the link to friends and family who have ordered and all agree it’s a must have for any house
