This bubble gun was easy to use and produced an immediate stream of bubbles. As mentioned in the headline, the bubbles were a little smaller than I’d like, I was expecting them to be more like the size you’d get from a manual bubble pot that you blow, but a lot less effort and hundreds of bubbles so great fun!
This is a great little bubble machine and will make small children smile. It creates loads of bubbles that soon fill the room, but beware the bubbles are very small (about 10 to 15 mm). At the time of reviewing the cost was 18.99 which I do not think is value for money as not sure how long it would last in a child’s hands as it does appear quite cheaply made. However, at the time of reviewing it had a 50% off voucher so for under a tenner it would be a bargain.
It’s not worth the price being carged for it. 10 at MOST would be more suitable in my opinion. It’s made of cheap plastic, the bit that says ‘bubble machine’ on the side is just made of card, and i’m not sure why it needs FOUR AA batteries to run. It’s a little loud and scares my cat, but it does blow bubbles and in this day and age that’s all anyone can ask for from a toy. Make sure you have one of those tiny screwdrivers to open the battery compartment.
We’ve just had a lot of fun testing this out in the garden after school – Here’s what I found…
Pros it has a magic fascination for children. I have realised that we now need 2 of these for the next party.
The fan system has a good lot of power and it’s true – bubbles just stream out of this when you pull the trigger.
The design is clever in that it can be run around with and waved and the bubble mixture doesn’t seem to fall out – just compare that with the inevitable spilling of the bubble mixture that happens when children blow bubbles themselves and hold the mixtue in an open container with the other hand.
The light in the device makes the bubbles stand out more when used indoors.
You can refill the small “cartridge” device from a larger, more cost-effective source of refills. Amazon has 2-litre packs for 4.20 today.
The power supply calls for 4x AA batteries – and these are secured in place so they shouldn’t fall out when little people play with it.

It’s noisy – but the squealing of children covers that up. The whole process is a bit frenetic; its the opposite of the quiet contemplative blowing of bubbles by hand.
There are a lot of fragile looking plastic parts. Ours survived some over excited drops onto the grass – but I wouldn’t be so sure that it will survive a drop onto a stone path or patio.
18-99 puts this at the top end of the range of very similar looking “bubble guns” on Amazon. But this works well and I haven’t tested others.
OVERALL – I defy you not to smile when you try this out. I had thought that we should stick to the deep breath and blow bubble makers – but now I am converted.
Durability concerns me – for now I give this a 5 star rating but if this fails inside 2 years I will be back to update my review.
easy to set up, it doesnt seem to leak
on first use you need to wait a little while holding the trigger to suck the bubble solution through the straw
it shoots out quite a lot more bubbles than i had expected and doesnt seem to use up the mixture too quickly
trigger is easy to pull and shouldnt be any trouble for kids
it would be better if the fan pushed the bubbles a bit further forward, but the current amount is still good

Bought this for my daughters birthday after buying so many other bubble shooters, none even come close to comparing with this one! The fact it is rechargeable is the best part as it is more powerful than any non electric ones and don’t need to waste money on batteries for it! Buying another one for my niece on her birthday too so they can stop arguing over who’s turn it is!
Love the huge amount of bubbles that this delivers. Rechargeable battery pack is also great. Even adults without kids have said they want one after seeing how good the gun is. Love this and fully recommend it.
ot heavy so a child can easily hold it, it can be used as a fan but not sure how much battery power that would use,. it produced bubbles but not in the quantity we had expected.
Amazing bubble gun. Works with any brand bubbles. Comes with 2 small bottled to store bubbles. Lights on the gun for using in a dark room/disco. Moderate amount of noise. Overall very happy with my purchase.
Bought this for my 15 year old daughter who is bubble mad and it didn’t disappoint, who needs a new apple watch (which was supposed to be her main gift) when you’ve got this – the watch didn’t get a look in.
Charges in no time, the bubble tray ensures that it doesn’t go everywhere or the mixture is waste. Top gift!
What a great buy my granddaughter loves bubbles but struggles to blow the traditional type. This gun creates hundreds all at once. Rechargeable battery is simple to use and the longer you leave your gun in the tray with bubble fluid the more bubbles you get. I love this as much as my granddaughter does.
Brilliant machine, the best hand held bubble machine I’ve ever used.. the children, teens, adults and pets all love it. Buy more bubble solution as the small bottles don’t last long.
I brought this for my granddaughter and i must say its great fun. Little dab in the tray and press the trigger the amount of bubbles! It filled the living room. Safe to say this is a good buy for the kids comes with rechargeable battery thats charged by usb so dont even need to search for batteries again.
