This works well, even with modern bushes that are designed with minimum amounts of metal with flats so thin that some other designs of bush spanner simply won’t engage and just slip around.

Perfect for fitting conduit bushes in trunking.

When fitting bushes in boxes you may be limited by both the sweep you can get, making it necessary to keep disengaging the tool and re-engaging it on the next flat, i.e. 1/6 of a turn at a time. If the box has a very deep lip it may not be possible to engage the tool on the bush but this is where previously you may have had to resort to the awful screwdriver and hammer method to drive the bush round anyway as spanners or grips wouldn’t be able to be placed at a suitable angle to avoid slipping off.

It’s a good tool! metal clad sockets and switches, I think the shank could do with about 4cm more on it to fit certain steel trunking depths as conduit sits on the wall at 4 inch deep there is no leverage due to it being a little short. Asides from that Great tool useful to conduit nuts and inside fittings

What can I say? How can you be an electrician and not have one if these ?

Good price for a simple device for this task.
Great that you can tighten with cables passing through.

If you have never owned a set of these they are ideal for conduit work where you would struggle to get into gaps with grips. You can even use them with cables in without damaging the cables.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSaw a friend in work using one of these, whilst glanding a back-box and it looked effortless so I bought one.

Today I used it myself and wow! It makes very light work of a job which can sometimes be a pain with pipe grips of which we all normally use.

For the price it is well worth it and will be my go to from now on. A brilliant tool!

Used for the first time today, handy tool for using whilst cables are present in conduit.

Better than the traditional double ended ring spanner style. Saves on weight and space. Lie to everyone who asks what it is.

Does as it says bush spanner great tool that comes in handy tightening a bush. Would highly recommend for getting a bush inside a back box tight easily.

Better than a bush king spanner as you can unscrew brass bushes whilst cables are still installed. Delivered on a Sunday and end up using it on the Monday as had to replace a roller door isolator. Saved having to pull cables back up the condui

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt took me a long time before I bought one of these but they are well worth it. Any UK electrician working with conduit knows that bushes are very thin now, and the Bushking bush spanner slips more often than not. These CK bush spanners are just the job, letting you tighten up bushes even if there are cables in the conduit.
    Great bit of kit.

Good to tighten up bushes that have cables in
Down side could do with a longer steam to reach deep 100mm adaptable box’s but it’s still a handy bit of kit to get the job done

Does what it says on the box, screws coundinf bushes, and does it quite well. I’d like for it to be a bit shorter to use it easier in 100/100 trunking, but other than that it’s good.

Fits the new flimsy brass bushes you get these days as well as the older more robust versions.

Design also allows you to tighten or loosen a bush with cables running through it if needed.

    Ideal!

It is ok when you get access to bushes (glens). However the gap is to wide and you can not use it for a lot of LED office ceiling lights.

So handy when fitting glands in Rittel cabinets. As an engineer all work colleagues that borrow it then buy one. Much easier than pipe grips and makes tightening gland nuts very easy where there is limited access

works brilliantly, and worth the money even if you occasionally do conduit. my colleagues regularly borrow mine now, as they have seen the light, and see how easier it is to use one rather than struggling to get grips in to tighten things up

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis bush spanner is first class for top bottom and side entry bushes no good for rear entry but it is still worth having as it tightens bushes better than any other product I have tried
Had to order two extra for mates on site to stop them using mine

Certainly worth having in your tool box if you work with a lot of steel.
I found this does not fit well with pre 80s bushes but can work it off just not easy as you would like. I am happy with my purchase purely as cuts my time down and fits well within cable packed trunking.
