I diwn marked the longevity only because I have only had the set a coulple ofweeks. Not because of a problem.

This drill bit set contains common size drill bits and different size drill sets for metal wood or brick walls, and there are screwdriver bits of various specifications in the tool box. There is also a screwdriver kit holder and countersink, a very complete repair tool set, It’s just that the quality of the tool needs to be further verified.

I don’t diy as much as i used too so this set has only been used a handful of times by my self, however the hubby has adopted it and say it has been pretty handy for himself. The carry case allows him to lose any parts and to also know if he hasnt put anything away properly. Hes been able to use variety of different drill heads and is impressed that they seem durable too.

This is a great DIY set when you don’t use it every day.
There are 100pcs in this set and you get different drill bits.
You can find everything that you might need at home and they all come in a storage box.
There are drill bits for wood, metal and concrete so every job will get finished.
The quality of the set is overall okay ,but for DIY only.
It is not something that you would push close to the limit every single day.
The price of the set is only 21.99 ,which is a good price for what you get.

Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

You get a good selection in one box. Can make different size holes whether is its, wood, masonry, plastic and metal. You can tell these are not premium tradesman quality but for my needs they are fine. I am an occasional DIY’er so for me they are fine and it’s good to have all these in one convenient box.
You might think you won’t need all those drill bits but you never know when you start something.
I did some masonry drilling and it did the job.
Currently priced at 23.99 with a 4 voucher on offer to take off.

This is a decent basic drill bit set for the cost. They waffle about how a titanium coated drill bit runs cooler and therefore lasts longer…I don’t believe it for a second. This a a very cheap drillset that you can almost call disposable. If they don’t last more than a few uses, I won’t be disappointed. If the kit lasts an engineering project, mission accomplished. So far they look like they’ll easily do that so I’m happy.

This is a good set of drill bits as there are a lot of different bits for doing different tasks and using different materials.

The kit includes metal drill bits, masonry drill bits and wood drill bits. It has a few spade bits for drilling big holes in wood and it has hole saw blades with the adaptor for drilling even bigger holes in wood. There is also a center punch to mark a point on metal to help guide the metal drill bits.

I like the case and layout of all the bits as everything is organised and spaced out well so everything is easy to get to.

All the bits seem to be machined well and all the bits I have used so far have worked well.

Overall I think it’s a nice set and its good quality so I am happy with it.

I found this product very useful and easy to use. However it is most important to follow all of the instructions as electric drills and other power tools must be handled with care.
I found in this case the price was good value as there was a good selection of additional items in the ki

For occasional use around the home this is a nice set of useful bits. The quality is reasonable for DIY use and the selection of bits should be enough for most standard DIY type projects.

However they’re not up to professional or trade standards and someone who uses tools a lot would quickly discover the limits of these as they’ll quickly go blunt.

That’s not to say it’s a bad set though and for occasional use I think it’s a perfectly good set, kept neatly organised in a nice case.

This is almost identical to the general purpose sets you can get from most toolmakers including dewalt, erbauer and ryobi. The item count and exact parts differ a bit, but they are generally interchangeable in the tasks they are intended for. The quality for the most part is the same too and will hold up for hobbyist and domestic work around homes and workshops. I wouldn’t grab them if you’re more serious and expect trade level quality from budget quality kits. Everything works as expected, the drill bits are sharp, and the screwdriver bits drive screws without stripping or camming out easily. The drill bits are having no problems with general house-hold materials so far, so if you need to hang a TV or shelves this will do the job with ease.

The set comes in a case inside a cardboard box with some product information printed on it. The carrying case gave me a good first impression right out of the box, but I was disappointed with it once I’d removed the packing foam and plastic from the inside, as the two latches for the case are very loose and insecure. Even just swinging the case in a normal walking motion will lock and unlock the two clasps, potentially sending the contents all over the floor if anything is loose inside. Speaking of which, several of the pieces had come loose in shipping and were floating around the case, not really a big deal as they clicked back into place.

Another case design choice I’m not a fan of is the choice to outline the perimeter of the case with the screwdriver bits, meaning you have to scan the entire case to find what you need. I’d much prefer if they were all in one spot with a removable holder, so you could take all the bits with you at once. The bits are also very tightly held in some of the slots, and I had to use pliers to get enough of a grip to pull a few of them out to use.

Everything inside is coated in a rust preventive oil, or rather It’s drenched in oil. I’m all for preventative measures, but the amount of oil on these bits is on a whole other level in my opinion, but nothing a quick rub with a rag couldn’t fix.

At the full price of 29.99 I can’t really suggest you grab this versus something from the other companies which are around the 20-25 mark. However, at the discounted price right now, this kit is actually superb value for what you get. It’s currently on sale for 21.99 with a further 10% off voucher. Especially as you’re getting a couple of little extras like the centre punch and the spade bits that won’t typically come in these generic multi-sets. If you don’t have a kit like this on hand for DIY fixes around the home, it’s well worth considering at the current price.

Lovely set at a lovely price. Has everything you need in a lovely case. I wouldn’t say they would be up to a lot of strenuous work but for DIY at home they are great. The best thing is the price because this set is a middle range quality and is after all a full set so overall you can’t really go wrong. Recommended

I was dubious about the quality when you get so many bits in this kit, but today I have used a number of drill bits and actually found them to be very good.

I’ve had cheap drill bit sets in the past and bits have blunted on first use and I’ve even had bits soften and warp in use!

I had to drill some pretty tough steel, and though it took a while, the metal drill bit I used did not blunt at all. Before drilling I used the centre punch to mark the steel and that did the job very well as well.

I also used an augur bt which worked well.

    So far very impressed.

This set covers most of the accessories you’ll need to do a variety of DIY jobs around the house from drilling small holes in wood, metal and masonry to boring out larger diameter holes in wood. There’s also a decent selection of screwdriver bits which should cover most uses.

The overall quality of the bits is mid range, fairly cheaply made but should hold up to occasional use in domestic applications, they’ll be most suited to people that occasionally do odd jobs around the house but don’t frequently carry out larger tasks, as with most things in life you get what you pay for here.

The drill bits are sharp out of the box and the wood ones do a decent job of making clean holes in softwoods which most people will be using them for. The metal ones were ok, taking a bit more pressure than my other ones to start cutting into aluminium sheet but eventually got through showing some signs of wear after a few uses. The masonry ones fared about the same, they eventually went through some brickwork but were noticeably worn afterwards. The hole saws did a good job in thin sheets of pine and didn’t burn the edges so no complaints there. The screwdriver bits while doing the job definitely feel on the cheaper end of the quality scale and showed signs of wear after a few uses.

Not a bad little set and definitely handy to have around if you don’t have access to drill and screwdriver bits, a good starter set that should cover a lot of people’s requirements.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent budget set of bits

At just 26, you have to be a bit wary of the quality. However, this is a really comprehensive set of drill bits. There’s just about everything here that you could want, all presented in a decent case that holds everything together securely. For a general DIYer, particularly for a new home owner who doesn’t have many tools, this is a nice set that will be suitable for most of their purposes. Obviously this won’t satisfy any more serious professionals, but for occasional use you have to be impressed by the value for money.

IF you want an all in one drill, driver bit, hole cutter, small socket drivers all in one set, this is a good one to consider. The drill kit comes in a tidy plastic case with a strong handle and see through lid. The lid is held in place with clide over clasps to ensure it never opens by accident.

The kit carries a good selection of different types of drills for wood, wood boring, steel, and masonry. In addition, there is a nice small hole cutter selection. The size selection is suitable for the majority of small jobs focussing on pilot holes for screws, bolts and raw plugs. The boring and hole cutters also allow for hole making for wires and pipes up to 53mm.

IF you have frequently used drill bits and hole cutters you will be aware that most of them start off accurate and fast, but the cheap ones soon lose their edge and become blunt. Tha’t all to do with the type and quality of the steel, and the accuracy of the bit cutting. This set feels pretty average and looking closely on some of the cutting heads reveals some imperfections.

For an occasional DIY set, this is very good value at 26, you do get a good selection of bits, drills and drivers. However, if you intend to use this for daily contract work, think again as I doubt that the metal is that well hardened or engineered. As a budget set for light duty work, however, it’s a good buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy for occasional DIY projects, not industrial or contractor quality though.

. The set includes a total of 100 pieces, which is more than enough for most DIY or professional projects..

The case is well-designed and includes labeled slots for each individual bit, making it easy to keep your bits organized and easy to find. The case is also compact and portable, making it convenient to bring with you to job sites or to store in your workshop.

Overall, I would highly recommend the CHANTPOWER Drill Bit Set to anyone in need of a comprehensive collection of drill bits. The set is well-made, durable, and includes all of the bits you’ll need for a wide variety of projects. The inclusion of a countersink bit and screwdriver bits only adds to the versatility of the set, and the storage case is a convenient and well-designed addition.

I was pleased to see that the C P chantpower drill bit set came in a sturdy box which clearly showed graphically what the box contains. Opening up the box shows the case as shown on Amazon with the exception that both a clear plastic cover is protecting the tools and on top of that a shin polystyrene sheet.

To open the lid two slide latches need to be slid inwards. My concern about them is that they are very loose and could easily move from the locked position to the open position. Looking carefully at them shows very small embrossed images of the direction of lock, unlock.

I tried to make the tools fall out by shaking the set upside down but they all remained in their allocated place. As such that is a good thing but the screwdriver bits are so tight in their respective holding holes that, without doubt, one typically will need a thin nose pliers, or such like, to remove them from their respective perimeter position.

I wasn’t so sure that the masonry drill bits had much ‘punch’ to them but I was wrong: I easily drilled into concrete using only a physically small, 18volt, drill.

As long as one keeps in mind that this is not for long term professional use then most folks would be pleased to own such a set; with the provisor that, to my mind, the price needs to come down by about 5.
