Love this product I use less washing powder as water is softer, it keeps machine cleaner and not so much mould, it also helps not using fabric softener which also makes powder draw mouldy
First time buying this type and only used two so far, but am hoping they do what they say. I was disapointed you don’t find out you pay a little over 3 on VAT until you’ve got your email notification and paid already-that’s abit sneaky
I prefer these to the blue Calgon tablets because they can be used to clean a washing machine as well as acting as a water softener. I use 1 tablet in every wash as recommended. 2 tablets in the empty washer on a 60 degree C cycle, certainly appears to freshen my machine and leaves it with with a pleasant scent. I now only need to use Dr Beckmann deep clean washing machine cleaner every 2 months instead of monthly.
Having lost one washing machine many years ago to horrendous build up of limescale on the element I have used Calgon ever since. Now my machine’s element is squeaky clean. Worth every penny just to avoid the hassle of being without a washing machine whilst getting a new one sorted. I also, notice I use a lot less detergent.
I used to not add anything to the washes until one day i noticed a) the filter blocking regularly and b) a smell coming off the wash and c) grime around the inside of the drum. Now having added one of these calgon tablets to every wash, my washing machine is much healthier. In my local shop, 15 of these tablets are outrageously expensive, e.g. 7quid for 15 tablets. Here’s i can get a whole box for around 10 quid. Why wouldnt you buy in bulk in advance (i have a spare box or two of these if ever i run out!)
I live in an area with exceptionally hard water and Calgon is the best for preventing scale building up in my washing machine. It is very expensive on the high street but my friend recommended buying it through Amazon on subscription and it has saved me a lot of money. I find that a delivery every 4 months is fine for my small household. Washing comes out smelling fresh and the machine smells clean also.
I got this discounted. I’d only purchase this version over the regular if it is cheaper.
The difference with these and the blue pack is you can pop two of these in a empty cycle to clean the drum. I find my machine is spotless with the blue tabs so this isn’t needed. I just do a regular maintenance wash like my manual states.
That said in a hard water area calgon is a nessessity. I can use half the detergent with these tabs ajd my machine runs better. Buy which is cheapest.
Was having alot of problems with my washing machine clothes coming out with black marks on,but since using these it’s stopped,im over the moo

Just looked to purchase another box of 65 tablets and they have doubled in price so I’m not happy.
