I think the design is flawed for two reasons
Firstly, it takes two hands to open it. One to hold the bottle and one to twist the locking mechanism.
Not great when you’re holding your trekking poles in the other hand.
Secondly, you can’t see how much liquid is in it, which makes it difficult when adding cordial.
Otherwise a great bottle but I’ll have to measure out my cordial or just use hydration tablets.
Got this for the wife’s bike as it was the only decent looking water bottle I could find in purple. It does the job, has some insulation to keep drinks cooler for longer but I think this is a bit of a gimmick. It’s well made and fits in a standard bottle cage on a bike.
I really liked the build quality of the bottle. The ability to change the bottle from open to close and that it fits perfectly in to my bike bottle cage. Bit pricy though.
The bottle doesn’t leak, even when left in the ‘open’ position. They open properly when squeezed.
The only issue is that my lad plays with the rubber mouth piece a lot and that has now torn, I have asked the manufacturer for replacements but have heard nothing back! Although you can purchase the entire cap for around 9..
Bought 2 for a charity bike ride I did in Texas. Fitted perfectly into standard bike bottle holders and kept my water cold even in the Texas heat. Easy to operate open and close which was useful while riding. Definitely recommend.
Prepare for an adventure like no other with this extraordinary bottle! I recently embarked on a thrilling gravel ride, only to discover an unexpected surprise inside this trusty companion — dirt! Yes, you read that right, folks. It seems my thirst was so intense that even the bottle couldn’t resist getting a taste of the earthy goodness.
Here’s the deal: when ordering, go for the “Dirt Series” edition. Why? Because it comes with a mud cap! Trust me, buying that cap separately will cost you almost as much as a whole new bottle. Alternatively embrace the dirt, save some dough, and prepare for a quirkily adventurous hydration experience!
I have purchased other cheaper bottles however I found they did not seal properly and the drink system leaked. This bottle is great doesn’t leak and the drink system is fantastic when running etc. As well the anti bacterial coating inside is pretty good. Definitely recommend this product.
Nice bottle. Doesn’t keep drinks super chilled, but if I add ice to both my bottles, this one keeps it a bit cooler for longer. But not cold.
Tho we are having the hottest summer in a while!
Bought as a replacement for old one that needed a new valve. Would recommend as does not leak. Gave 4 stars as they are a bit on the pricey side but they are robust , easy to clean and last.
I am a very keen cyclist clocking up hundreds of miles each month. These are by far the best bike bottles I have ever had. You can get a lot of fluid in them & they are very easy to clean. Would never use any other brand.
seems to be well made, fast delivery, is supposed to be insulated, but did not really have time to try it out properly yet, did a small 5 mile ride and water was still cold, in hot weather 25 degrees, after 30 mins, so seems ok, but we’ll see if it keeps water cold for longer? Standard size to fit all cycle bottle cages. Cheers
Used to use the cheap SIS bottles but after a while they would always taste nasty. Tried this, slightly pricier but used for a while and it’s been really good. Clean taste, really easy to clean, no leaks. Good locking system and easy to drink from. The insulation does help keep cold when needed but not for a huge length of time. But all in all a good bottle foe the price
Not the smartest bottle I’ve seen but does the job. Insulation keeps it cooler for longer but it is plastic so not as efficient as metal insulated bottles. It does look like it’s got cling film wrapped around it but I quite like the effect but I’m not the type of person that has to have a red fancy looking bottle because I’ve got a red fancy looking bike so it’s certainly good enough for me. And it’s a good brand.
Are you looking for a bottle that’s reliable, sturdy, leak proof, easy to drink out of, easy to clean, keeps fluid cooler for longer without the weight of a thermal bottle and want it to be flexible for use, I.e on a bike, door pocket of the car, rucksack gym bag….. yeah, well this is the bottle for you. It’s worth every penny and it’s sure built to last.
The drinking spout is about the size of a fizzy drinks bottle cap with a one way valve thats provides a good flow without the risk of leaking. Trust me, it doesn’t leak. Unlike some of the other brands I have purchased.
I’ve been pretty happy with this bottle – it’s well-made and the self-sealing cap is super convenient while riding. It certainly does a better job of keeping drinks cool than some other bottles, although obviously this makes less difference after an hour or two.
Had the previous version of this bottle and this in is a good improvement. The old version kept getting mold growing on the inside of both the bottle and the mouth piece; no matter how often I cleaned it, even with bleach of vinegar.
The mouth piece comes apart to clean, and I’ve not had any issues at all with mold at all. Fits perfectly in a bottle cage and definitely keeps cold water cold.
If your user to a normal water bottle, these are definite improvement and great for cycling. You never have to pull the mouth piece open, as it had a great self sealing valve.
