    Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersAbsolutely love this serum, unlike other hyaluronic acid (HA) serums I’ve tried, it is a lightweight cream that absorbs into skin amazingly, not sticky at all, I use on wet skin and the HA then uses this water to plump the skin, rather than taking it from the lower layers of skin, making it much more effective. Highly recommend

    Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI found Cerave products recently as I was struggling with very dry menopausal skin, I had very crepey eyes which made me look much older than my years.
    I started using this and taking a collagen supplement and my skin has really improved. I use it after washing before putting my moisturiser on. I recommend this to anyone in a similar situation to me.

    Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersIt’s a good product but I haven’t noticed any major changes to my face after 2 weeks, if you’re after something minimal for a good price and you’re not that acne prone then i’d recommend this.

    However if you suffer from bad acne and need something urgent then i’d look at other products, even if a bit more expensive.

    Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’ve been using this serum for a few months now and my skin really loves it! It’s very light weight and soaks into the skin quickly. It doesn’t leave a weird film on the skin or make it feel greasy. I have no problem applying my moisturiser after. My skin is really sensitive and so it’s difficult to find products that doesn’t inflame or cause a breakouts. Thankfully that hasn’t happened with this serum. My skin is very hydrated and soft after use, no redness to be seen. The only thing is that it’s a bit pricey for a small bottle, it is quality though.

I was looki g for a good one as i had bad experience with a few (rashes, spits, burn-like marks) even the are really good high end ones. I bought this serum as it was highly reviewed and price wasnt too bad at all (not paying expensive to burn my face again- lesson learnt!) I have been using this for almost 2 years and until it discontinues, will keep using it! Its.light on the skin, very effective and reasonably priced. What else wouldni want from a serum?

It’s a perfect thickness and glides over the face like silk, it’s not greasy and it soaks in beautifully, keeping my face well moisturised. It’s great if you’re experimenting with harsher products like retinols and exfoliants and you need extra hydration, or just to top up in the cold weather. I use this twice a day now, after cleansing and any treatments (e.g niacinamide or vitamin c). I think this would be fine alone but I do use the cerave moisturiser on top in the evening, and spf on top in the morning. I have acne-prone, combination skin with some rosacea redness and dryness can occur around my nose. This product isn’t a miracle nor is it a specific treatment for a skin concern (other than dryness) but it’s a great addition to your skincare set.
    I just wish there was more in the bottle! Im not used to buying fancy skincare so 17 for 30ml seems a little much to me, but I will continue to buy it because it’s so good and to be fair, posh brands like skinceuticals easily charge 3 or 4 times the amount for serums!

I normally use it in winter but have found it necessary to use several times during hot weather too. It’s easily absorbed and is good for sensitive skin, no irritation from it at all.

    Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI have struggled to find skin care products that hydrate but don’t clog pores or irritate my skin. I have combination skin, which took me a lot of time and money to realise but this serum, applied before CeraVe’s dry to very dry skin lotion, works well over my whole face. I then apply the lotion to my face (avoiding my oversensitive forehead) and that’s usually all i need now.

    I couldn’t get away with just using the serum though, it’s too light and as such not hydrating enough to use by itself, for my skin.

    They also do a heavier moisteriser for dry to very dry skin that can act as a 3rd layer on cold, windy days that dry the skin badly, or just for particularly dehydrated skin.

However, I was under the impression this was going to be a serum not a cream. I still use it in the same method but have had to adjust the order I layer my products. It also runs out really quickly for the price – 16.99 for 30ml which has lasted me just over a month. It’s a bit much for me to be paying monthly along with all my other skincare costs. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this again (have just started my 2nd tube), purely because of cost. I’ll be considering the ordinary HA 60ml which is around 10 and double the quantity, along with an actual serum consistency.
