My child loved this. Was a little tricky to get the hang off but we figured when you take the lid off and leave it in the back of the freezer it works best. Also use very cold juice.

My daughter was pleased with her slushy maker. We always leave it in the freezer overnight to use the following day. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is it’s a pain to wash – there’s lots of pieces to it to unscrew & separate to wash it. Other than that – good produc

Easy to use and clean. My five year old loves coming in from school on a hot day and turning her squash into a slushy. Have also tried with chocolate milk and worked.

This slushy maker works but does not make a real slushy it makes the drink icy. Although it is not a proper slushy it tastes quite good you can use any liquid to make the slushy if it does not work it is because the temperature of the freezer is not low enough. Apart from all of this the slushy maker is great and has good instructions.

Its good, it turns the drink icey but not slushy and its a long wait for result, 6 hours! But the grandkids love them.

As someone who has really enjoyed slushies since they were a kid this was worth every penny.
It allows me turn any of my favourite soft drinks (the sugar version) into slushies in just a few minutes!

A tip I have for anyone who gets this slush maker is to put it into a very cold part of your freezer – it really has to be cold for it to properly work!

Works well although you can only use a small amount of drink in it.
Was annoyed to pay 12 each (bought 2) and then see them in a supermarket on sale for 2 for 15 though.
As A product it works well but look around for a better price

My Son saw this slushy maker on TV and kept bugging me to get it for him. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical if this product will actually work but it actually does. So far we have tried it with fizzy drinks such coke and sprite and there hasn’t been a problem. You just simply put it in the freezer we generally leave it for around 6hrs then pour in the drink and keep squeezing. This item is perfect especially with the hot weather we are having in the UK at the moment.

This does work well but you need to freeze it for around 5 or 6 hours between each use.
It can be a bit difficult to clean, but not a massive problem.

Well, it’s way better than our Mr Frostie machine. It is easy to use and clean. The colour is great and it is very easy to clean and put together.
However, it takes hours for it to be useable which can cause a problem if it has been left out of the freeze

Honestly at the beginning it was hard to get a slushy , no matter the drink. The instructions said 6 hours . I left it in the freezer for 2 days and it wasn’t working . I read somewhere that the inside of the cup has to be rock solid. I decided to leave it on the freezer for another 48 hours . Once the inside was rock hard I tried it with orange and juice and it worked perfectly . So just have to patience I guess . It was definitely not 5-6 hours, more like 4 days

I brought this as my kids are always freezing their drink & then have to wait for it to defrost a little before they can break it up to eat/drink it.

This cup is fantastic. You put it in the freezer for a few hours, put in your favourite drink, squeeze the cup for a bit, after a while you see it turning into slush. When your done just wash it out & put it back in the freezer ready for your next drink.

So easy for kids to do.

I was a bit concerned when I read the reviews on the Chill Factor cup so I purchased one for my son before I purchased one for my daughter as she is slightly older. We had excellent results with these I purchased the famous branded syrup and kept that in the fridge along with the cold water in a bottle, I found freezing the cups wet the best way and also be a bit patient with it and just keep squeezing for 1 or 2 minutes. Kids ususally have one after school then cups are washed and refrozen for the next day. Only downside is the inner cup takes up quite a lot of room in the actual cup so you don’t end up with much drink but as we are using the syrup that is probably a good thing in regards to sugar consumption.

Great cup! Slushies in seconds. Doesn’t hold a lots of liquid but enough for a nice cold slush. Have to take it apart to clean but not that hard at all.

Great idea and good fun but you really don’t get a lot of slushy out of it when you have to wait so long to use it again. It’s definitely value for money though and would recommend having 2 for ease.

I brought this item thinking it cloud work it could not. when it arrived I washed it out and put it in the freezer. (this usually works best.) And ing the morning the next day I checked on it and it looked ready. When you get the slushie cup on the box it has a recipe for a chocolate milkshake and I tried it. I squeezed for 30-60 seconds and it was done! It was also very easy to wash up and has steps on how to take it apart and put it back together. All together this was a great buy..

Despite the mixed reviews, I bought this, and experienced the same thing others have complained about where it does not appear to work.

I eventually found that if the gel insert is still soft, it’s not cold enough. You need to turn your freezer down to the point where where the gel becomes crunchy or solid.

Ok, so we bought this as a cheaper version of the Frozen Magic, with a view that we’d try it and get the more expensive one if necessary.
We got it this afternoon, washed it and popped it straight into our freezer (-18). I wanted to leave it overnight but my son wanted instant slushy. So after 5 hrs we got it out. One thing I’d read was that drinks should be the fat version, no sugar free versions here!! And the instructions say the drink should already be chilled. Luckily we had a random full fat lucozade lurking in the fridge, so after 6 hrs, out came the cup, in went the lucozade (full fat, cold) up to the suggested level and started to squeezeSQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE and within a minute we had a slushy. We’ve only tried with one drink, tomorrow we try chocolate milk so will let you know! But for simple slushy, it’s a winner!!
