Just purchased this item I will see if it suits my hai

My hair is thick and wavy and despite having tried various conditioners and serums, with varying results, I’ve just started using this Argon Oil, and have so far have been very pleased with the results.

After washing my hair I apply a very few drops of oil to my hands before massaging it through my hair. I try and avoid my fringe hair, as that can look a bit oily if I get too much on it, but oiliness hasn’t been an issue on my longer hair. I then comb it through, including the fringe at this stage, then blow dry it as normal. As soon as my hair is dry I can see and feel how soft and shiny it is. I also use a few drops on my face and hands, and love the feel of it.

I like the fact that it’s a natural product, too, that isn’t full of goodness knows what chemicals and additives, and it being organic is a bonus. For the price I thought this was excellent value as it’s likely to last quite a while.

I NEVER write reviews unless they have 100% worked and I have seen a difference. I have lost count the amount of oils and treatments I have used on my hair this last year and not one of them comes close to how well this product has worked for me. I had really badly damaged straw like/ snapped hair from bleaching it – particularly on one side of my head. After doing some research and finding out that Argan oil is the best product to use (over coconut etc) for your hair, I had a look around and came across this. Another lady left a review to say this worked so I gave it a go. The first day I got this, I saturated my dry ends with it and left it overnight. I then washed it off and blow dried my hair and WOW, the texture is almost back to full health (weighty) – This is a thick oil so be sparing when using it as a touch up/ to tame frizz but I recommend to use heavily a few times a week when you plan to wash your hair the next day!

I have super damaged bleached hair, as I use lots of pastel/crazy colours. It can get really dry and straw-like. I’ve previously used commercial hair oils that contain a bit of argan oil, but I’ve always found that within an hour of applying them, my hair was back to frizzy and dry again. I honestly think they made my hair even dryer over time, too.

I bought this to use instead, and it’s AMAZING. I can’t even believe how soft and shiny it makes my hair. It’s oil – so, obviously, the more you use, the oilier your hair is going to look. Use sparingly and keep adding until you’re happy.

The one thing I would say is that I found it made my hair smell so gross the next day – a kind of nutty, bad, stale oil sort of smell. So I bought a couple of essential oils (vanilla + ylang ylang – but you could use whatever you wanted), and I mixed them with the argan oil in a smaller pump bottle to make my own scented hair oil. I used maybe 100 drops of essential oil to 20ml of argan oil – but basically just add however much you want until you get a level of scent you’re happy with.

Now my hair is soft, shiny, and smells so nice! Highly recommend!
