Solidly built tight seal. We took Irish meat products to family in France – a journey of over 24 hours by land and sea. Everything arrived in perfect condition still chilled in spite of temperatures in the mid 30s. Very pleased

I bought this cooler based on the name, I have various Coleman stoves etc. so I know they are good. I bought this mainly for holiday, beach days and for when I sometimes work away from home fora couple of days( I can take sandwiches rather than buy expensive rubbish at service stations)
Used today and it works well. Use as many ice packs as you can, especially if you are opening it up a lot( like I did today at the beach). It kept everything cold, even left over drinks were cold when I got home.
Gave 4 stars rather than 5, as like others have said the lid is a little tight. And there isn’t much of a gap to get your fingers in to pry it open, I reckon a bloke with really big hands would struggle.

Replaced a 10 year old coolbox with this, performed way better. Lid very tight as delivered but loosened up nicely after a few days. Not cheap, but Coleman seems to be a brand to trust.

A great cool box.It keeps frozen foods fully frozen for hours.The shape of box means most foods can be stored upright.The ‘moulded inserts/cup holders in the lid are so handy.(jars, tubs etc will also fit!)
As well as regularly using it to transport food to our holiday home we also use it for family beach picnics. It’s a sturdy, efficient box which we find invaluable!!
Perfect size for using with milkman deliveries, it can fit a fair sized order within it Chuck in a few ice packs, the delivery stays cool overnight until I bring it in, in the morning.
The lid is fixed on the side of the box, which is not shown in the pictures.
Regarding holding the content chilled for 48 horas (2 days) I believe it could. We have use it to keep ice on a daily basis. And the ice lasts for 06-10 hours with the lid being oppened 05 – 08 times (1 to 2 minutes at time) during that period.
Great for taking in the car on holiday, add some ice packs, bring milk and other supplies from the fridge rather than throwing anything out. Same for the return journey, so less waste. Also handy for a day at the beach or park.
after having an electric cool box we were off camping at a festival with no electric hook up. This was amazing we bought a bag of ice on the 1st day and it was still frozen on day 2. It’s a decent size too fitting all we needed for the weekend.
We put a few bags of ice and some booze in on Saturday morning and it was still ice cold Monday night! Very impressed.
Almost 5 hours later we arrived having stopped off throughout our journey twice. The two bags of frozen food were still frozen and the chilled goods were at a good temperature too.
The inside walls of the box were super cold and we were very confident in keeping the box to use in the future.
Some issues I have though:
– “Made in USA” – absolutely incorrect and false advertising. It’s made in China instead – no big deal but I’d rather have my money not end up in the pockets of the CCP if I can help it
– Hinges on the back look like they’d snap easily if mistreated so be careful with those
Great item be careful with fluctuations in pricing I purchased for 49 because I was desperate but I have seen this on here for 39 and the current price is 71 so Amazon do need to sort this out because I buy a lot of them so buying elsewhere now
Went on a 2 night camping trip. Average temp throughout day 22C much warmer in tent where Box was. Kept all food and drinks very cool whole time. It even cooled down room temp drinks bought from super market. Used 10 freezer blocks and still had plenty of room.
