The Comfytemp Weighted Heat Pad will be a real game-changer for me during the winter months, especially while working from home. Not only does it provide warmth and comfort, helping me save on energy bills, but its weighted design also offers some pain relief, which is an added bonus.
However, there is a notable downside to this product—the cord is disappointingly short. Also, due to the cord being on the left-hand side of the vest, limiting its usability to one side of the vest, which can be quite inconvenient. I’ve found that it may not work well for everyone, especially if your sofa or workspace doesn’t have a socket conveniently located on the side where you plan to use the heat pad.
Despite this inconvenience, the Comfytemp Weighted Heat Pad remains a cosy and comforting addition to my work-from-home setup during the colder months. It might not be the ultimate solution for pain relief, but its warmth and weighted design make it a worthwhile investment for staying comfortable and warm while working or relaxing at home.
The Comfytemp Weighted Heat Pad has become my go-to companion during the chilly winter months. This oversized heating pad doesn’t just provide warmth; it offers relief from those persistent neck and shoulder aches.
The 2.2lb weighted feature adds a comforting pressure that soothes muscle tension. It’s like a warm hug for your back. The large 22″x33″ size is perfect for covering your entire upper body, from neck to waist.
I appreciate the three heat levels, allowing me to customize my experience based on how cold it is outside or how tense my muscles are feeling. The auto-off timer and over-heating protection are essential safety features that put my mind at ease.
The strap designed to keep the pad in place works well, although it may feel a bit snug for those with a smaller frame. The fabric is soft and cozy, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. The need to keep it plugged in limits mobility. It would be great to have a cordless option for added convenience. Additionally, the plug cable is on the shorter side, so you may need to be close to an outlet.
In conclusion, the Comfytemp Weighted Heat Pad is a valuable addition to my winter arsenal. It combines warmth, comfort, and muscle relief effectively. If you’re willing to work around the cord length, it’s an excellent choice for staying cozy and pain-free during cold seasons.
Using this device for painful shoulder and neck. The collar fits really well gives a lovely snug feeling. The heat control is easy to use. The heated elements are very well distributed across and down the collar and around the neck.
First off, I was genuinely pleasantly surprised that this fit me. So often the heated pads you can wear will only fit tiny people with tiny bodies – I’m a size 18-20 and this fits across my back very comfortably and ties up as well.
It gets VERY hot very quickly, which I like, but two things irk me about this. One, the cable for the plug is incredibly short and you need to sit pretty close to a socket. That’s fine if you’re in bed and there is one next to you, but when I’m on the sofa, the nearest plug is quite some distance away. The cable is also on the right-hand side of the warmer and this irritates me to no end. I’m left-handed and whilst I appreciate there aren’t many of us in the world, it would make sense to have both sides of the warmer capable of holding the cable and plug. Even if you are righty, what if the socket is on the left of you? It’s just a little thing that could make all the difference.
Issue number two (or three, depending on how pedantic you want to be) is that the temperature controls get insanely hot during use – I would say possibly dangerously so. They are made of what seems to be really cheap plastic and it’s worrying how hot they get even after just a few minutes of use.
All said, this is a lovely full-back warmer and the weightiness of it is very comforting. It fits even my rotund physique and gets wonderfully warm very fast indeed. Just be aware of the issues I’ve pointed out before purchasing, if they are something you need to consider.
Perfect, comfortable, fits well, can control the temperature and it fits on shoulders and up around my neck.
This is great for shoulder pain, I like that it can be regulated and turns off when it reaches a certain temp, very comfortable to use too.
I was unsure about buying this but I’m really glad I did. I have aching muscles in my neck and this is very soothing. The fabric is lovely and soft. The choice of heat levels is good and the weighted effect feels just right. There’s a press stud fastener to close it when you “wear” it so it doesn’t fall off. I’ve been using it a lot. I’m glad of the timer function too.
Had to find a heater that would help with my painful neck and shoulders. I read the reviews and to be honest wasn’t sure if this would fit the bill. Its everything that I needed it soon warms up and the weight is so comforting. It stays quite warm most of the time and its easy to unplug from the heater so can go for a cuppa and then just plug it back in. This heater works or me.
This heated should and neck pad is like having a warm blanket wrapped around your neck and back. It helps with muscle aches, shoulder and neck stiffness as well as helping with spondylosis pain.
had an issue with the product but the company were super nice and handled it professionally.
Bought this as my wife has fibromyalgia she has found it to be very beneficial and especially likes the weight factor in the product. Been a very good buy would recommend.
I like this product but I have it on full heat as the other lower settings aren’t hot enough. It could be hotter imo
I suffer from neck pain and have been searching for a heat pad. I decided to purchase this one and so glad I did. It has 9 heat settings, a timer and heats up quickly. The back part could be a little bit longer but asi bought for neck pain it’s just right. The bonus is that it’s weighted as well. Would definitely recommend.
Perfect fit. Nice weight . Nice, soft fabric with possibility to bottom it up and hold it in place easily. Heat is fine as it starts but heat is not steady only a few minutes afterwards.
This really does the business, comfortable and just the right weight. Timer does the trick in 1/2 hour increments and the 10 heat setting let you fine tune it to your needs.
Soft and fluffy, snuggles nicely round neck & shoulders. Feels well made and durable. Supposedly machine washable bad well
‘Er indoors loved it. Its weight combined with its heat output suits her. One very contented partner.
Order arrived before expected. Great bit of kit. So pleased my customer recomended to me. I had no idea such a thing existed. If you suffer neck or back pain please consider one of these.
This weighted heated neck pad has been a real help with my neck problem. The weight helped it stay put, the soft outer cover is very comfy. The heating itself when first turned on is wonderful, but it doesn’t seem to hold the temperatures for long, I have to reset it to come back up to the temperature I want. I would also say that the comment about it fitting a well built man is not helpful as it fitted my neck of 40cm reasonably but someone of say 45cm might struggle to button it up.
Heated up quickly to desired set heat, I have an injury sustained in a car accident and the heat was a tremendous relief. Didn’t take it off all day. Great product.
It warms the shoulders but I found it doesn’t really reach my neck unless I pull the broadest part,up and over.
Just a mini electric blanket.
The jury is still out on this for me. Because it is weighted it tends to pull on the front of the neck as the weight shifts back , and it gets warm enough each time I turn it up but then seems to get cooler. I started at 3 and have turned it up every 10 mins. Its still new so maybe I need to find a level that suits me, will add more later.
