If you follow the instructions and hold them for a minute and let them set for an hour or so, they will hold light items. They will remove the paint 50% of the time, even if you’re really careful. They are very cheap though.

I’ve given these a 5 start review as they are very strong and do hold many items in place. However, be warned that they do remove plaster on walls when removed. As long as you know this before using them, they’re great.
Excellent hooks, ive used these for nearly every small decoration you can think of from hanging fairy lights and vines to crochet banners, dream catchers and the like. Every time they never fall off until ypu want them off. These are just the job for fairy or Christmas lights, they leave no residue on pvc window frames and hold the lights in place well. When the festive season is over these are so small and delicate you won’t notice them, perfect.
Have small children around the house I wanted to make sure our lights stayed put. Command are now the only brand I’ll use. Discrete and easy to remove, they survive the inevitable pulling of lights. I’ve been most impressed with them in the conservatory where the temperature fluctuates massively. Other sticker hooks have just given up but these have been up now for 2 years with no issues.

These hooks are so good. They are easy to prepare (just peel the backing off, stick one side to back of hook, then peel other exposed side off and place). They even stuck to wall which I didn’t expect. You do have to hold them on for a few seconds, and I also used a hairdryer just to make the glue a bit more tacky. They work a treat and are practically invisible
These are the best thing I have bought for hanging my Christmas lights around the house, have said goodbye to the drawing pins. I needed some more of the adhesive pads so ordered those but they wouldn’t get to me until January so it was quicker to order another complete set with hooks and have found a use for the extra ones and they are so easy to remove. Would definately buy these again.
Have used these for fairy lights all the way round our lounge – so easy to put up. See through so you cant really tell they are up. We have used these for years, mostly for Christmas decorations. They are great when they stick; we do have issues with some not sticking to our walls but they mostly work OK, and they are good enough for us to keep buying them. My wife and I ordered a 45 pack each (they were on sale and limited to 1 per customer) and when these turned up they were both in an unsealed plastic bag inside a box and the hook part is slightly larger than the ones we normally buy and the sticky pads are slightly different too. Made me question whether they are genuine but they do appear to have been sold by the genuine company so perhaps they have changed supplier or made improvements to the design, its too early to tell if they stick better than the previous design but the larger hook gives better clearance to hang more to it, which is a positive!

But it’s definitely stronger than sellotape or bluetak .
If you don’t need the strength than use bluetak as it won’t take your paint off.
I am sure these will do what they say, however, it is only for the smallest electric lead or wire.
I have kept them for stringing fairy lights, (If I ever need to) but I wanted to hang the leather cord of my Bolo Necktie on the on the wall, and they were too thin for that purpose.

Amazing for hanging light decoration, I used them to hang fairy lights and ivy. Also used them to hang dream catchers from the ceiling. Make sure to push and hold them so they stay on.
