Bought all sorts of 3m command strips over the years. These ones are particularly useful for holding Philips hue light strip cable. Not cheap but the things do stick which is more than can be said of the sticky stuff supplied with the light strips.
I wanted to hang my sun catchers from window frame. Cleaned with rubbing alcohol as per instructions they are holding well. Going to see if any good on ceiling to hold wind chimes as they are not too heavy.
Don’t know why I didn’t use these years ago! Just the job.

These mini hooks are perfect! We had one for hanging up the kitchen calendar 7 years ago and it just started to peel away, after 7 years you can’t grumble at all. New hook up and doing its job, very happy with this product.

I used this to hang a bed canopy from my ceiling. Very easy to use, applied the sticker and left for about 30 minutes. Worked very well!
Bought these to hang the Christmas stockings on the fireplace and they have stuck the entire time (3 weeks so far) without any problems so they’re very adhesive and easy to use just peel the sticker off and stick on then to get them off they’re the same as the other command strips just pull the tab. Would recommend
Did I swab the wall with alcohol first? No.
Did I leave it a certain amount of hours before hanging up my items? No.
Has anything fallen off? Also no.
When I needed to move one of them, did it pull paint off the wall? Yes. Did I care? No.
Tldr; strong sticky hold things good. Will pull paper/paint off wall.
I bought these for using for small decorative items in a bedroom in a house I am renting. They are very easy to put up, can hang light decorations (small pictures, wall hangings or fairy lights) with them and they come off easily without leaving any marks. They are perfect for renting as no damage means it’s easier to get back your security deposit. Also great if you’re not so good at DIY but want to add hooks to somewhere more easily
I have never used this product before and wanted to use something to hang my calendar without banging nails into my newly plastered and painted walls. The instructions were clear, telling you which part should be peeled and stuck onto the wall making the product quick and simple to hang. I haven’t yet tried to remove it from the wall so can’t comment on how easy it is but for my first experience, I’m impressed. I would definitely recommend this product and will probably purchase the larger ones to hang some of my larger pictures.
The image (and product?) have changed since I bought them. I had a pack of 6 translucent ones. They’re great for renters, do the trick. I’ve had them in the past and the adhesive has been easy to remove. The only reason I’m dropping a star is cause they’re not necessarily aesthetically that pleasing & I’ve also had a few snap, though I don’t think I’ve overloaded them (I think the last one snapped over two empty tote bags). Would happily buy again, though. I’m not too bothered over a few snapping given the low price.
I’ve used a number of these products over the years.
They are simple to use and adhere to different surfaces. I’ve used them mainly on painted surfaces and tiles.
They adhere well, leave for the recommended time before using or you could end up with hooks etc found on the floor!
Typically they remove cleanly and easily however, I’ve encountered some issues trying to remove hooks which have been for a couple of years. When you pull the tabs down they snap and you’re left without being able to remove them.
Available in a wide range of sizes for lots of applications.
Bottom line – I would purchase again.
They’re fairly easy to apply, but if fitting them above head height, get someone else to stand back and help you judge if you’re fitting it straight, or use a small spirit level (if you’re pedantic like me).
You have to fit the self adhesive backing to the wall first, allow a short while for the backing to set, before applying the hook and then again a minute or so before any weight is placed on the hook.
A point of note is that under the hook will be a visible clear tab at all times, this is the tab you pul to remove the fixing from the wall, it’s transparent but proportionally quite large, so it’s worth bearing in mind if being used in any visually sensitive commercial environments.
Overall very happy
We’ve found all sorts of uses for these, from hanging stuff around the kitchen (e.g. hooks on inside of doors to hold a towel out of sight), hang keys or hanging pictures of reasonable size and they haven’t failed to do the trick. We’ve even used one to hang an ornate bed dressing from a bedroom ceiling to drape around a bed and its stayed put for a while.
They stick really well. One word of caution though, they don’t remove nearly as easily as the adverts would have you believe – I’ve snapped a couple trying to remove them. The trick is to pull VERY slowly at it and at a perfectly flat angle – any deviation and it’ll tare. Once you get the hang of it though, its fine.
