These are great and have used them over time for lots of hanging lightweight items ie, posters, banners, cards etc. Come away from the wall cleanly if required. Great invention! Quick delivery, very happy!
I got eh 64 count that i ordered, weirdly, it came in a huge box (about 10*10*10 cm) and in 5 packs of 12 with 4 extra on the side. Product works well if you follow all of the instructions properly but they can be expensive
Really useful little tabs, super strong too and can hold a decent amount of weight. Make sure to have the tab somewhere you can grab it to pull though, in past I made the mistake of hiding the tabs completely on a small frame and ended up pulling paint off the wall when trying to remove it without being able to pull the tabs! For sure keep the tabs visible with frames, though you’re fine if it’s something flexible like a poster. Super easy to remove and when pulled right doesn’t leave any marks or damage.
Bought these before to hold up a large world map which stayed up for three years, when we took the map down and removed the stickers it left no marks.
Highly recommended
I attach Christmas cards to the bannister and the hall walls during Christmas. Every year I have multiple cards drop off the walls but this year I swapped to these and they’ve been secure.
Admittedly I haven’t taken this lot down yet(!) however I’ve used command strips before and they come away cleanly from painted surfaces in my experience so I think this will be my way forward.
I used to buy these all the time but they aren’t as good as they used to be. They don’t seem to be as sticky as they used to be and they have been falling down. They can also be quite expensive too.
These are so sticky and I have hung up lots of pictures on my walls with them, a godsend as a renter, have only tried with A4 frames but they haven’t fallen down and don’t show signs of i
Waste of money, unfortunately.
You don’t realize just how good these are until you take the posters down. I’ve just removed 13 posters that were up on my wall for 6 months, and not only are they VERY easy to remove, by pulling on the tag hanging down from the stickers, but also there is not a mark from the adhesive anywhere on the wall, and none of the paint has been damaged in any way.
They can also just as easily be removed from the back of the poster once you’ve taken it down. Note that this depends on the quality of the poster – of the 13 I’ve just taken down, 2 were very slightly damaged on the back of the poster, but these were not as high quality as the other 11.
The stickers remained adhesive after I’d taken the posters down, but the posters are going into storage, so I removed them instead. Not sure if they are genuinely re-usable, but they seemed to still stick.
Very impressed!
1. thinking these were the velcro strips
2. not reading the actual size
However I have used these as I intended (had I bought what I thought I was buying) which was to stick a motion light to the wall in my porch and although I did use 2 they have stuck well and definitely not fallen off or budged in 2 hours.
The positive thing as far as my mistake is concerned is that they are not as bulky as the velcro ones would have been.
A bargain price and delivered next day so as long as you realise what you are buying I would recommend them.
I bought these as a tip I read on a forum. Living in rented property and, unable to run ethernet through the walls, I needed to attach about 30 metres of ethernet cable to the skirting boards without any lasting damage.
I cut these in half length ways, and they were the perfect size to fit between the cable and the skirting board. A month later and they’re all holding strong. An extra strip I added to test the strength was easily removable and left no noticable marks.
Perfect for my use case, would recommend.
I spent a very long time looking online for something to use to put up my posters. I have used blue tack in the past and it left lots of stains on my bedroom walls so I was looking for an alternative. There are so many products out there and many have positive and negative reviews which left me confused. However, I purchased these command strips and I am very pleased with that decision. They are pretty easy to use and my posters are fixed to the wall very securely. I accidentally put one of my posters up and it was slightly askew so I had to remove one of the strips and put a new one on and readjust the poster. I found it easy to remove and it did not mark my wall. However I cannot say that after many months or a year that there will be no residue as I only purchased these a little over a month ago. In conclusion, I definitely recommend these! 🙂
I’ve used command strips for years now for hanging normal things and also for weird and wonderful jobs that should use serving better and they have never let me down but it’s what you expect from 3M
Easy to assemble, really doesn’t leave a mark when removed. Also handles any types of wall-hanging things. Super happy with this as a student that can’t make holes in the wall.
It did the job! I hung 5 small lightweight canvasses at a recent Exhibition. It’s a simple solution to not being allowed to knock a nail in the walls. I’ve used Velcro in the past.
Awesome product – have used so many of these – 95% reliable (ie about 5 pictures of over 100 have ‘failed’ to stay up).
Worth shopping around for the cheapest – deals come up everywhere!
I just upgraded my all posters with these adhesive poster strips and everything looks just fantastic! Posters are and remain in the same shape they should be when you put them (with traditional tapes some corners and parts are always coming off the wall no matter what). These definitely make posters look better and you only need 4 strips for a big 90×60 poster. These definitely works and all strips are perfectly hidden behind the posters so you don’t even know they exist (just be careful not to press the adhesive strip too much when you press it agains the wall, it might leave square marks on the poster surface). Removing posters is simple, you just grab from the bottom part of the strip which is free from sticky surface and simply pull the poster off. Works like magic!
I was about to buy individual packages of these strips but this value pack is definitely best for the money. If you are planning to put more than 3 posters on your wall buy this instead of those smaller packages. This package is enough for up to 12 poster so this one will last long and even though the package say these are for posters, these are so strong that I think you might even be able to hang light weight canvases with them if you do it properly.
