I was looking for a product to use in a room a was hiring which didn’t leave marks on the wall, I tried and tested several products at home first and this came out the best. When I used it at the event it worked 90% of the time, there was about 2 places it pulled some of the paint off, but the paintwork was old in the first place so I don’t think it was down entirely to this product. The venue I hired at also recommended this product so it is the best all round.

The Command 17024 Poster Mounting Adhesive Strips have proven to be an essential tool for secure and clean mounting. They adhere strongly to a variety of surfaces, ensuring posters and lightweight items stay firmly in place. Despite their strong bond, they can be easily removed without leaving behind any sticky residue, a feature that many users appreciate. The pack of 12 provides good value and allows for multiple uses. Whether for home, office, or classroom use, these Command strips deliver on their promises, making them worthy of a five-star rating.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersOverall, they are a very good product. However, it’s worth noting that they do have some limitations that are important to consider.

Let’s start with the positives. The adhesive strips are convenient and easy to use. They provide a hassle-free way to hang posters, artwork, or other lightweight items without the need for nails or screws. The white color blends well with most walls, creating a clean and seamless look. The pack of 12 strips ensures you have an ample supply for multiple projects.

That being said, one limitation I noticed is that the adhesive strength of these strips doesn’t seem as strong as they used to be. While they generally hold up well for lightweight items, such as posters or small frames, they may struggle with heavier or larger objects. It’s important to carefully read and follow the weight limit specified on the packaging to avoid any disappointments or damage.

One major concern I had is that removing the strips can sometimes cause paint to peel off the wall. This can be frustrating, especially if you are looking for a temporary solution or frequently like to change your wall decor. To minimize the risk of paint damage, I recommend following the removal instructions provided by Command. It’s crucial to pull the strip straight down and not at an angle to minimize stress on the paint.

When it comes to application, here are a few tips to ensure the best results. First, make sure the surface is clean and free from dust or debris before attaching the strips. This will help with better adhesion. Press the strip firmly against the wall for at least 30 seconds to ensure a secure bond. If you’re hanging a larger item, consider using multiple strips for added support and weight distribution.

In summary, these Poster Mounting Adhesive Strips are a convenient and reliable option for hanging lightweight items. While they are a very good product, it’s important to be aware of their limitations, particularly in terms of adhesive strength and the potential for paint damage during removal. By following the recommended weight limits and application tips, you can maximize their effectiveness and minimize any potential issues.

Replacement strips is always one way of saving especially when one needs a lot for his new home. 3M strips is good as usual, just cost a lot when need to buy so much.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNothing to do with the seller.
I used to buy these all the time but they aren’t as good as they used to be. They don’t seem to be as sticky as they used to be and they have been falling down. They can also be quite expensive too.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsed this to hang up a thick, heavy poster that’d been rolled up very tightly and so wanted to just roll back in on itself. Didn’t want to (nor had the space) to try and flatten it out over several days. Used copious amounts of blu-tack prior to buying this, but it just kept coming off. Bought these instead- easy to apply. Poster hasn’t budged once since putting it on. Recently, I had to move the poster after almost a year- it was easy to take off – promotional material is actually accurate for once- pull on the tab (you have to pull hard) and the thing genuinely comes off- no damage to the poster nor to the surface I had it on. To say I was shocked was an understatement considering that blu-tack HAS damaged my posters in the past, both with oil(?) seepage from the tack itself, the tack turning all gummy, ripped backing when trying to remove poster etc. No issues whatsoever using these poster strips however. Can’t praise these enough- I’ve already repurchased once and will be recommending these to everyone.

You don’t realize just how good these are until you take the posters down. I’ve just removed 13 posters that were up on my wall for 6 months, and not only are they VERY easy to remove, by pulling on the tag hanging down from the stickers, but also there is not a mark from the adhesive anywhere on the wall, and none of the paint has been damaged in any way.

They can also just as easily be removed from the back of the poster once you’ve taken it down. Note that this depends on the quality of the poster – of the 13 I’ve just taken down, 2 were very slightly damaged on the back of the poster, but these were not as high quality as the other 11.

The stickers remained adhesive after I’d taken the posters down, but the posters are going into storage, so I removed them instead. Not sure if they are genuinely re-usable, but they seemed to still stick.

    Very impressed!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTotally my own fault for
    1. thinking these were the velcro strips
    2. not reading the actual size

However I have used these as I intended (had I bought what I thought I was buying) which was to stick a motion light to the wall in my porch and although I did use 2 they have stuck well and definitely not fallen off or budged in 2 hours.
The positive thing as far as my mistake is concerned is that they are not as bulky as the velcro ones would have been.
A bargain price and delivered next day so as long as you realise what you are buying I would recommend them.

I spent a very long time looking online for something to use to put up my posters. I have used blue tack in the past and it left lots of stains on my bedroom walls so I was looking for an alternative. There are so many products out there and many have positive and negative reviews which left me confused. However, I purchased these command strips and I am very pleased with that decision. They are pretty easy to use and my posters are fixed to the wall very securely. I accidentally put one of my posters up and it was slightly askew so I had to remove one of the strips and put a new one on and readjust the poster. I found it easy to remove and it did not mark my wall. However I cannot say that after many months or a year that there will be no residue as I only purchased these a little over a month ago. In conclusion, I definitely recommend these! 🙂

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought the Poster Mounting Strips a few days ago and have successfully put up 3 SILK posters with a pack of these. They stick very nicely, once stuck on the wall, but can be taken off (Wall side not poster side) if you need to realign the poster if you have just put them up. You can do this a few times before they loose their stickiness, but once you’re happy you just need to press on the tabs to the wall for about 30~ seconds to ensure they are stuck.

My only qualms are, if you have a semi transparent poster like silk they do show up through the poster but not too much to notice straight away. But they are very easy to use and they show no sign of failing at the present time.

My posters that I put up are two 60cm x 90cm and one 60cm x 106cm using four tabs for each poster.

I hope this helps with your purchase.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThis product is simply fantastic! I have many big and small posters in my room and last week I finally got bored with my posters falling down and getting damaged. Previously I have tired blu-tack, double-sided tapes, packeting tapes, you name it and none of them has really lasted long enough on my painted walls. They all allow my posters to fell down at some point. Issue with blu-tack is that it once time goes by it makes “oil marks” in the posters/pictures which doesn’t look nice. Traditional tapes do keep posters on a wall with less damage (for a while) but then suddenly they just give up.

I just upgraded my all posters with these adhesive poster strips and everything looks just fantastic! Posters are and remain in the same shape they should be when you put them (with traditional tapes some corners and parts are always coming off the wall no matter what). These definitely make posters look better and you only need 4 strips for a big 90×60 poster. These definitely works and all strips are perfectly hidden behind the posters so you don’t even know they exist (just be careful not to press the adhesive strip too much when you press it agains the wall, it might leave square marks on the poster surface). Removing posters is simple, you just grab from the bottom part of the strip which is free from sticky surface and simply pull the poster off. Works like magic!

I was about to buy individual packages of these strips but this value pack is definitely best for the money. If you are planning to put more than 3 posters on your wall buy this instead of those smaller packages. This package is enough for up to 12 poster so this one will last long and even though the package say these are for posters, these are so strong that I think you might even be able to hang light weight canvases with them if you do it properly.
