The corsair mouse is a considered a large mouse compared to other mice like the logitech g pro, this can be ideal depending on your preference. It’s very lightweight and slides well with the four PTFE pads. The left and right mouse clicks are quick and short, perfect for FPS games and the side buttons are located right next to the thumb unlike other mice I’ve used. As someome who doesn’t like RGB, I’ve used the iCue software to essentially remove the RGB, which only shows up on the corsair logo. The iCue software helps to customise lighting and DPI and can allow you to save profiles for different use cases. The mouse is right hand only, which may be an issue for others. The charging cable does have kinks in so I’d recommend charging the mouse whilst generally browsing as opposed to gaming, but this won’t be a regular occurrence and the mouse can last up to 90 hours. I was able to get a solid week or so out of it before I plugged it in for a quick recharge. Definitely recommend this mouse if you prefer larger mice, especially at lower sale price.
This is a great mouse, its sensitive and perfect for gaming. Would defo reccomend
I have used wireless mice in the past and have never liked the latency and the whole idea of not having a cable was just a no from me. But when you buy cheap stuff, you get cheap quality I guess.
Was a bit sceptical initially as this mouse is wireless but the fact you can also use it wired sold it for me.
Never have I had such a smooth experience with a mouse and was really surprised with how well the mouse works wirelessly. The fact that I got it for 40 is a steal in my eyes. Have paid 60+ previously and those mice don’t top this one.
Great product.
I’m a big fan of Corsair products, and the SABRE RGB PRO Wireless mouse is no exception. It’s a great mouse that’s perfect for gaming and general use/work. It’s extremely lightweight and comfortable to use, and it has a very accurate sensor which has a huge variety of DPI settings. Has a very low latency connection with high polling rates to select, and the quickstrike buttons are very responsive. I’m very happy with this mouse and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performance wireless gaming mouse. It also has the nice bonus of subtle RGB lighting on the logo. I do wish it was a little more luxury on the materials but having got this product on offer, I’m more than happy with the quality.
Feels cheaper and more plastic then the Logitech I have, bought this for work while decent warehouse deal rather then naff work mice. It’s the only mouse I’ve used where it doesn’t register over slightly shiny parts of mouse mat, but as it shouldn’t be dirty can’t really blame the mouse
his mouse is really nice. i currently use the wifi dongle in my gaming pc and bluetooth for my work laptop and switch between the two with the hand switch on the bottom of the mouse.
ideal for what i need.
for gaming i went from a logitech gaming mouse (G502) to this and prefer it
good battery life charge it overnight once a week
I had the previous version of the sabre rgb from a few years back (with the corsair gaming logo, not the ship) which was wider, shorter and was best suited for claw grips. This version is taller, narrower and best suited to a palm grip.
Overall the mouse Is great, I’m not gonna say it’s a bad product because it’s not. Just don’t expect it to be anything like the older model if that is what you are replacing because you will be quite disappointed.
Worked straight out the box no probs, it kept my button config from previous mouse and setup with my existing colour scheme in icue in about 10 seconds.
I bought this as a mouse i could use for gaming and work and i love it!! Probably the most comfortable mouse I have used (i have quite large hands). It looks really stylish without being gimicky, and feels solid. the button clicks are extremelyy fast compared to my last gaming mouse (havit). I have a Corsair keyboard so i had the iCue software already which is excellent for customising buttons, lights etc. It goes up to 24000dpi which is ridiculously high for my pair of 24″ monitors, but with iCue you can customise the dpi settings for each of the 5 preset levels. Cons.. well there’s only 4 programmable buttons which may put some people off.. theres no adjustable weights and it is pretty lightweight. Thats about it i think.
A new mouse required after the scroll wheel broke on a Razer Deathadder Elite just out of warranty. A known issue, but with Razer, out of warranty, no support other than forums. Disappointing Razer after-service for an expensive mouse.
Razer now has no ‘mid-price’ mouse replacement, so I went for this Corsair and it’s great. Very pleasant to use in both general computing and gaming. DPI settings very easy to adjust in gaming, and the performance of this wired mouse is still well beyond the limitations of my physical response times!
As a ‘bonus’ the Corsair iCue software for lighting works perfectly on MacOS Monterrey. Razer products are pretty hobbled outside of their PC gaming home.
This mouse has got a past Razer fan asking quite a lot of questions.
A few weeks of heavy use in, I can unreservedly recommend this mouse. A pleasure to use. Not cheap, but good value.
After deciding I had too much logitech devices in my life, I was looking for a mouse that could be used for gaming and, well, I aimed even higher that what I needed. The reason I went for Corsair is that I already have a Corsair k70 rgb and didn’t want another bunch of drivers and overbloated software pieces (really, this is the best reason to stay on one or two brands) and went for this Sabre RGB Pro.
Well, it is a sweet mouse. It charges fast, it flashes in RGB lights (which does not matter very much), it allows for an insane polling rate (which you may not even need), it is very light and it is very comfortable. On the con side, the scroll wheel which is the usual issue with every mouse I ever had (it gets dirty very soon and starts doing weird stuff), and that it is almost ambidextrous but someone did not wanted it to be. But I am happy with it. It ended up replacing the mouse I have for work because it is this nice.
This mouse has a very good shape for any grip style and is a good mouse to have if you do a lot of work as well as gaming due to the minimal buttons with only 3 added buttons compared to a standard mouse, 2 side buttons and an extra button near the scroll wheel.
The mouse has a very ergonomic shape and is easy to grip and feels very well contoured to my hand shape
I like the mouse but the scroll wheel when browsing websites etc is terrible. Good for a gaming mouse at the price point but not great as a daily driver.
First thing I should write about is the build quality. The mouse feels really good, lightweight and super clicky. The only problem I found is side buttons, they are quite uncomfortable to me but its personal preference. The software for the mouse is ver good, simple and easy to set up.
BUYER AWARENESS!
If you are buing this mouse for 8000Hz polling rate think twice because for most FPS games like Valorant, CS GO and oth. the 8000Hz is cool and very fast but a bit laggy. You will need a very strong PC especially CPU to use this mouse at full potential. If your FPS game will lagg with 8000Hz just lower it down to 4000Hz it should be fine!
1. Give the Sabre RGB PRO 2 or 3 days to get used to it and you will suddenly LOVE it.
2. This is probably the lighest pc mouse I’ve ever owned, it felt unnatural at first and as it’s clearly a premium mouse at a half decent price I wanted to give it a few days to adjust to its ergonomics etc and WOW…. I swear there’s an improvement in my online gaming, for example in Overwatch PC, junkrats exploding tyre…am shooting it before it explodes way more than usual, doing some unreal shots before even thinking or realising my actions. I play BF4 and BFV as well and I do sincerely and truthfully feel a difference for the better.
3. Had a whole list of different pc mouses in my time and beyond a doubt this Corsair Sabre RGB PRO is the best PC mouse I’ve ever had but you MUST give it 2 to 3 days to get used to it and adjust to it and the bondship between you and your new Corsair will just suddenly click.
4. If it matters I also use 9900k @ 5ghz, was lucky to get a Sapphire Nitro+ 6800 XT a few Months back with a 144hrz 4k monitor so with all the top specs it’s brings out the best of the Corsair Sabre RGB Pro.
5. Oh for those that don’t like the lights, you can turn them off or reduce their brightness etc. The Corsair software takes a little getting used to but I can say, for me, it’s the best pc mouse software I’ve experienced to date, so don’t be afraid to experiment with settings to get your preferred “way” of playing.
6. The cord material linking the mouse is EXCELLENT, to me it feels velvety in the sense it doesn’t stick to anything or drag across my table if that makes sense and I’ve managed to set it up in a way that feels as if it’s a wireless mouse with no dragging or resistance whatsoever from the cord.
Let me preface this, a polling rate of 8000 will not work for you in the vast majority of titles. If you’re buying this to play Valorant or CSGO, you will have to reduce the polling rate to about 2000/1000 in order to get a jitter-free experience.
The Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Champion Series is a brilliant mouse for FPS Gaming. It’s super light, ergonomic, and doesn’t have the drag that some other mice have in part due to it’s paracord cable. While reading reviews for this mouse, I noticed some reviewers felt that the mouse chassis was creaky. I do not know what form of death-grip they were using on their poor mice, but the mouse I have received does not have this issue at all unless I am gripping with intent to crush.
The mouse has multiple DPI presets, which can be cycled through by pressing the middle button just underneath the scroll-wheel. This button is well placed enough so that you won’t press the button accidentally, but will not miss it if you feel like you need to adjust DPI on the fly.
The RGB on the mouse is a nice touch considering the weight. This mouse is only just heavier than the Superlight offered by Logitech, and I can imagine most of that weight goes into the RGB. There are two lighting zones, on the scroll-wheel and on the logo. These can be adjusted with a variety of effects within the Corsair iCUE application.
The Corsair Sabre RGB Pro Campion Series is compatible as an NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer. I have not made use of this, but if you are interested in calculating and reducing your input latency, this may be of use to you.
The main drawback to this mouse, however, and the main reason I have had to dock a star, is due to the polling rate. Advertising a whopping 8000Hz polling rate (0.125ms), you’d think this mouse is the top dog. Unfortunately, the vast majority of game engines just aren’t ready for 8000Hz. Valorant, CSGO, and various other titles are a stuttery mess when playing at the full potential of the mouse’s polling rate. For reference, I have a 3090, and sit capped at 235fps when playing Valorant. If I were to use 8000Hz, moving the mouse would instantly drop my frames to about 40fps for the entire duration of the mouse movement. In a first-person shooter, you can imagine how this would be frustrating. If you want to buy this as an “early-adopter” so to speak for when game engines do fully support the use of 8000Hz, feel free. The mouse is great even at 2000Hz/1000Hz.
Overall though, the mouse is great for day-to-day use. It’s not uncomfortable holding it for a long period of time, and I can’t seem to find any faults with it (with the exception of polling rate, which is honestly not too big of a deal as it can be changed anyway).
