| USE FOR HAND HYGIEN | 1. Wet your hands with clean, running water, and apply soap. 2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Be sure to lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. 3.Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds (two times Happy Birthday song) 4.Rinse your hands well under clean, running water. 5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them. |

This soap is fantastic; it is a good-sized bar and has a nice texture. It contains really good ingredients that have been carefully chosen to be cleansing yet gentle on your skin. I use it instead of shower gel as I find it to be more cleansing and it leaves my skin feeling nice and soft, it is even kind enough to use on my face. It smells amazing and it is invigorating, leaving me feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
This soap does have something of a “rustic” appearance to it (probably not surprising as it’s described as “handmade”) – a simple block that looks like it’s been cut from a much larger piece with a knife. Probably not really all that giftable therefore, not like some luxury soaps which are individually moulded and embossed with a logo, say.
But it’s all high quality stuff, natural ingredients & organic (and packaging only cardboard), and made with care. The scent is a little bit medicinal with the tea tree and other ingredients, but there is also a good lime & citrussy aroma to it, and I actually quite like the overall smell. Lathers up thickly and cleanses well, and leaves skin soft. Glad to recommend it.
This review is for the unfragranced Karite Shea Butter soap. It is the best soap I have ever used by far, and I have tried so many. It is profoundly non-irritating, really moisturising, leaves the skin feeling extremely clean but also extremely soft and comfortable. No residue. Just a top product. Please try it – I was unsure due to the cost but am so glad I tried it. I wish they would offer 6-packs of this particular soap with large cost savings. The ingredients are: Sodium Shea Butterate**, Sodium Cocoate**, Sodium Olivate**, Aqua, Glycerin**, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter*, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil*.
It feels strange and amusing now to be washing my hands and face with a bar of chocolate. I know it’s a bar of soap but it’s still a bit peculiar all the same. However there is no chocolatey smell associated with it so it doesn’t leave me reeking of chocolate afterwards. Just as it gets my skin clean that’s all that matters.
I put itonder my bottom sheet between my husbands and my pillow to promote sleep and 8 out of 10 times it works. I bought this peticular one as it was the most pure could find at the time. I love it.

It comes in fab packaging, it lathers well and the smell isn’t overpowering and fake. It works well with my sensitive skin and I feel clean afterwards!
Environmentally friendly and cruelty free(vegan). I am very pleased that this soap is not just vegan but also free from harmful chemicals. What really made me so pleased was the absence of plastic wrapping and that the packaging is biodegradable right down to the ink and glued used.
Most buyers may complain about the lack of overpowering smell but for those who are allergic to strong smell, or artificial smell this soap is a dream come true.
No-palm oil used is also great. I will not be supporting the slaughter of the Orangutangs while I wash my skin with this soap.
The formulation of this product is impressive. I normally get irritation from bar soaps but this soap did not make my palm itch or cause dryness after washing my face. Very easy to rinse too.
Most buyers will find this product a bit on the pricey side but for health conscious, vegan, eco-aware consumers, the price is justified.
I can’t seem to find anything to improve about this product even before I used it, I was already impressed about the presentation. Only the price tag is my gripe.

Shan’t review this again, as I have regularly ordered them. However, is a beautiful soap that feels great to use. A little pricy but it does last very well. Very, very pleased.
