Bought these for my wife. She likes both the comb and the brush which are large enough to sit comfortably in the hand. Both slide readily through the hair whether wet or dry.
These are very pretty and very sparkly. Love blue and green together so this suits me perfectly. I have used it and it works well. Nothing bad to say about them. So 5 well deserved stars.
I bought my first brush in 2017 and only now in 2023 that I needed to buy a second .
It lasted me 6 YEARS that’s fantastic value for money and it’s honestly the best hair brush I ever bought .

After my old tangle teezer needed replacement I was glad I tried this model. While the bristles are thicker and harder I feel that it is kinder to my long hair. The bristles feel less sharp’ and the different length work well. I always find a lighter colour more handy to grasp hair to clean brush so good purchase.
I am using my old tangle teezer for my cocker spaniel and I have to say it works better than some dog brushes you can buy 😉
This is revolutionary in detangling my hair which is thick, curly and gets very knotted. The only downside is that it tends to slip out of my hand a lot.
I bought this brush for my ten year old daughter, after she borrowed mine and loved it! She used to hate brushing her hair, so I used my own Lily England brush on her to show her how soothing it feels on the scalp. She thought it was heaven and has used it ever since! So I have bought her one of her own, as I want mine back!! My other half borrows it sometimes too, he doesn’t have long enough hair to need it really, but he loves the massaging effect.

My daughters have very think hair, but this brush is excellent at getting all knots out. Without being painful.
My hair is long and fine, so knots easily. This brush doesn’t pull or tug. Great little brush. Loved the colour.

I brought this to brush my two dog’s with as they don’t like the usual dog grooming brushes I found this more gentle for them and now they come to me to brush them I’m happy as they are happy one is a bichon and the other is a shishzu
This was a second purchase. Very good hairbrush. A little pricey but works great On my daughters hair as in it is good at detangling without causing much discomfort (my daughter has thick wavy hair). I bought it for my toddler as well. Also the handle is ergonomic so makes it easy for someone who has a tendency to get hand cramps. Also lovely colour options
I chose this brush and am very happy I did, it glides through my hair even when I feel it’s knotty and gets all the tangles out with ease, it’s gentle enough to use on wet or dry hair without ripping or damaging my hair at all!
The design is great and it’s easy to hold/grip even when my hands are hurting and stiff/ swollen, I don’t need to pull or tug, it’s very comfortable for my scalp and in my hands.
It also came with a matching detangling comb which is great for using with conditioner in the shower. I love the rose gold colour too.
Overall I’m very impressed with this brush it’s quality is just as good if not better than its famous competitor, it detangles my hair easily and gently and is excellent value for money!
I’m now also getting one for my daughter who has thick very long hair as I’m certain it will be perfect for her too. Highly recommended.
So I got the brush and tried it on dry hair first. It was AMAZING. My hair actually detangled and get this – STAYED detangled. Ready to believe in a miracle, I brought the brush with me into the shower. And it WORKED ON MY WET HAIR.
Two caveats – brushing wet hair did cause more hair to tear out than brushing dry hair did, but significantly less than brushing with any other brush – even with dry hair. The grip of the brush is also very smooth, so it was difficult getting a good hold on it while brushing in the shower. However, it worked!
This brush was also very effective in brushing in product. I use hair oil to improve the health of my hair, but am always annoyed that it leaves my hair greasy – this brush helped me distribute the oil evenly without coating my scalp.
In short, I’m sold on it and am now enjoying my silky, perfectly brushed hair.
Colour me impressed because this hair brush is amazing, it’s the first hair brush I’ve used that doesn’t pull out like a half a head of hair when I brush it while it’s wet. I’ve got curly hair, type 3C, and to save myself the hassle and trauma I just brush it when it’s wet and with a bit conditioner or detangler in it. I had been using paddle brushes as they were less stressful to use and detangled my hair easily compared with other brushes but brushing while wet meant the pad with the bristles always, always became unglued and so hair brushes would never last that long. The thing with this brush is that the part with the bristles is one solid piece attached to the brush so as far as i can see there’s nowhere for water to get in and it’s not glued on.
This Lily England hair brush is great, although it’s near impossible to keep a handle of this brush when your hands are wet so I’d definitely recommend drying them first then brushing. It’s still noisy as heck, but it sounds worse than it is and unlike hair brushes in the past it doesn’t hurt and it slowly works through any knots in my hair when brushing from the ends up to the roots. The absolute best part is that it doesn’t pull out a ton of hair in the process either, there’s really minimal amounts of hair in the brush and I currently have quite long curls at the moment going down past my shoulders about mid-way down my upper back.
Do yourself a favour and invest in this brush it’s definitely worth it.
Update Jan 2021- I have recently purchased the Pink/Orange one and was shocked to see that it is a completely different product than the one I bought back in 2017…this is hard, rigid plastic, nothing like the one previously bought, which I still have and will continue using as the new one is awful…I leave 5 stars, as the review was for the one bought in 2017. Such a pitty…
I’ve got long hair that goes down to the middle of my back, I’ve had it coloured with bleach since I was 16 (I’m now 51) and to make matters worse it’s got a natural kink/curl to it so all my adult life I’ve had to wash my hair every day because if I didn’t I would suffer for it! Even when I do wash my hair I still have a fight on my hands trying to get the comb through my hair. For the last 10 years I got into a routine of tilting my head forward and putting the Combing it from the ends of my hair working up to my neck still with lots of snagging, I would then wet my hair and shampoo it trying very hard not to go in circular motion so as not to get it in knots, I would rinse it and re wash it the same way again, then I would condition it from the ends of my hair to my neck and comb it through the same way. I’d leave it for a few minutes then rinse once again from the ends of my hair to my neck , I’d gently towel dry without going in circular motions just in case and then I’d comb through from the ends of my hair to the neck. What a drama! I can’t believe I went through that for all those years when all I needed was a Lily England! I used to dread brushing my hair and in fact had started to put it in a ponytail to stop it getting knotted! I now don’t have to wash my hair daily and my daily routine of combing it in between the routine has stopped, it now takes me a few seconds to brush it through before I wash it and I still comb it once the conditioner is on which also takes seconds and I brush it before I dry it, all in all its shaved 20 minutes off my hair wash routine, what a bonus. One very happy customer I can’t recommend it enough. I bought the pink brush.
