Good quality scale for the price. Easy to use to make good quality coffee. I like the ability to switch between grammes for the coffee and then millilitres for the water.

I’ve only used these scales for a few weeks so no idea of long term reliability, but I really can’t fault them. I don’t see why the competition is so much more expensive as there’s only so much that can go into a pair of scales. Perhaps it’s someting to do with coffee snobbery. It came with batteries and full instructions. As expected, it’s sensitive down to 0.1gm and, I assume, accurate although I’ve no way of testing that. It also looks attractive so, all in all, I can’t fault it. If you want a set of scales for measuring small quantities, then don’t waste your money, just get these!

I wanted a precise set of scales for measuring coffee grinds and has a timer. This does, yes it feels slightly cheap to the touch but its a quarter of the price. I’ve dialed in my grind with this so very happy. Mine doesn’t turn off in two mins as some have reported which is a bonus so a very happy around.

Bought them to compliment my filter coffee machine . I wanted to step up my barista skills without going OTT. Very simple to use – each button does one job so no endless tapping to find the correct function. There is a timer but I don’t need to use it for my machine . Worked out perfectly for me .

Why get a flashy scale with strange functions when mostly you need to knwo how heavvy thigns are in g/kg or lb/oz? It does other measurements up to 10kg, you can zero it to add ingredients to a bowl while baking, it’s light, slim and really easy to store. The diplay is bright and the numbers are large, so if you have any problem with small print you’ll hopefully be able to read it; the letters showing which measures you’re using (kg, lb, etc) are small, but they appear in a sequnce along the top so if you can at least see the lights and know which one you need, that can help, or ask someone else, or check the number with an item whose weight you know, plus most of us don’t change weights and measures too often. Still 5-stars as it’s ideal and not specifically intended for people with vision impairments.

Had to buy a new kitchen scale because the old one failed. Normally buy this kind of device in-store so can get a feel for the build quality, size etc. however this wasn’t possible this time so took a chance with this. Overall very happy. Smaller and lighter then our old one so easier to store and move around the kitchen. Accuracy seem fine and usefully allows negative weights for those times you zeroed the display too soon. Downside is the build quality compared to our old glass and stainless one because it’s plastic, but it’s fine. For the price I would actually rate it good even. It is smaller than the old one, but not too small – you can still see the display when a pan is on the top unlike an old plastic Salter one we used to have. Will likely buy a better one next time but very pleased with this for the money in the meantime… N

Due to covid-19 needs to stay safe at home, I bought this scale at amazon for baking. This scale are wonderful, lightweigh and easy to managed. You can choose any unit you like, just put on any bowl or bakery tin to messure your bakery ingredient and the most I like is you dont needs to use so many bowl to put your ingredient, you just press one time on/OFF button, the unit scale become zero, you can make process your bakery more faster and easy. Just use the dry tower to clean the surface and can put it back into the case. So brilliant scale, highly recommend.

Firstly, by waterproof I think this is splash proof (as the accompanying leaflet says do not place in water). The scale options include ‘tl’ which is strange and I could find no meaning for this code – checking the weights it appears to correlate with Fluid ounces – so maybe the option should correctly be ‘fl’. Accuracy is reasonable – my 100g brass test weight came out at 99g. The buttons are nice and big, the text large and easy to read and the scales are stable with large rubber feet. The mode switch buttons are very sensitive. Settling time is fast. Stability of weight given is good.
