I had a double from several yrs ago… that one sometimes didn’t work well in splits and I could hear sound dampening sometimes. This one is fantastic! No loss, even split into 2 or three systems.. so far great!
This splitter works great! Used to connect Samsung TV to Samsung soundbar and Bluetooth headphone adapter (Avantree model BTTC-418-P). Both these are great products and work well together. I’m with everybody else, don’t waste your money on non-powered splitters.
eceived in good condition and very easy to setup. Works perfectly to connect a tv output to a soundbar and a bluetooth wireless headset. came with a fiber optic cable and instructions (not used and it is pretty intuitive.
I have a sound bar and also a transmitter attached to the TV optical port. Previous splitters I had bought would not work with the draw from those devices. THis one worked like a champ. We were able to plug the device into the TV and then easily plug the sound bar and transmitter cables into the open ports, with one port to spare. Great purchase.
This splitter was easy to install and worked well. I wanted to hook headphones to TV so husband could hear TV better and have it so I too could hear TV. I attached Splitter to TV with one optical cord and two other optical cords, to sound bar and to digital headphones. IT WORKED!!!
Lookig for an optical splitter and wanting to minimize cords I purchaced one that was not a powered unit but could not get it to work. So having purchase a powered unit this was just the one to buy taking up very little space and easy to hide I am happy with this one. Worked perfectly as soon as all was connected and no problem with the sound being great easily worked well with both the sound bar and head set.
Most TVs have only one optical input.
I have a surround sound system and would have to unplug it when I wanted to put my hearing aids in.
Now we have both and my girlfriend still gets the surround sound.
Buy This its great.
No I am not a bot.
Perfect, I have digital output but needed to go to amp and sound bar.
Solved the problem, and I still have a free port if ever needed.
I have used this on an older Panasonic Viera television to conect my Megaloop pro hearing aid loop for use with my Sigma hearing aids and a LG soundbar and speaker. Very easy to connect the optical connectors and the sound of the soundbar and loop are totally in sinc with each other and the tv picture and sound. It’s actually the most in sinc Ive ever had with my hearing aids with a television, previously they were very slightly out with the picture with my old loop system. Would definately recommend to digital hearing aid users.
I bought this optical splitter to connect the output from my TV to a soundbar and my receiver. It works well, and I still have a third output if I need it in the future. When it arrived, the box was not sealed and there was no power cable in the box. I supplied my own cable, and it works just fine. After contacting the seller, they replied quickly with an apology and offered a $3. refund, which I accepted. Five stars for the product, and though I applaud the seller for excellent customer service, I remove one star for having to use my own power cable.
It was so easy to set up. I previously used the headphones socket for my hearing aids, which was ok but a slight delay. I used this splitter between my hearing aids and our Sonos sound bar, no delays and perfect sound, it could not be better. This was all down to talking to the tech guy at John Lewis in Cambridge.
U NEEDA 3PIN ADAPTER FOR THE USB POWER POINT. IT WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE A SIGNAL TO BOTH OUTPUTS, OTHER SPLITTERS WERE NOT! UNFORTUNATELY, THERE WAS AN ECHOEY QUALITY AS IF THE SIGNALS WERE OUT OF SYNC BUT COMING FROM THE SAME SOURCE THATS IMPOSSIBLE! MUST BE INTERFERENCE! I ENDED UP WITH 1 HDMI AND 1 OPTICAL FIBER AND IT WAS ALL SORTED. SELLER REFUNDED ME IMMEDIATELY THE RETURN WAS COLLECTED. EXCELLENT RETURNS POLICY
I am a gamer and have been adjusting my set up as a 55 inch TV screen has been hurting my eyes, head and neck. I decided I wanted to play on a computer monitor but didn’t read the product details. Here comes this product:
After two weeks of trying and testing different adapters to no avail, I found this product and promptly bought it. Why? The monitor I bought has no speakers or aux jack. Yes, I know I’m silly.
I ordered this product on a Sunday, it was delivered the next day. Small packaging and I doubted thid small box was going to work.
Surprise! It did! Now I have crystal clear sound running through my speaker. If you are considering buying this for a similar purpose to me, it’s worth it. You will need two hdmi leads and an aux cable if your speaker doesn’t have one but it’s perfect and saved me having to return my current monitor (i really like it) and find another monitor that can provide everything I needed
Used to connect headphones to TV still using surround sound system
Needed powering up, did not expect that as its only a splitter!
However it appears to work well.
An ‘expert’ confidently told me that there was no such thing as an optical splitter!! Well, here it is, and it works very well!! Provides dual feed to my TV sound system and my TV headphones. Both can be used at the same time, or separately, if one is simply muted. Marvellous bit of kit.
I purchased a bestisan S7020p sound bar from Amazon usa (not available from Amazon uk). Sadly, the sound bar only has one optical connection and no HDMI TV-ARC socket. I needed to connect my sound bar to my 4K tv and my 4K bluray player. Since I am not keen on paying the over-inflated msrp of 150 for the LG-SP2 sound bar (which has OPTICAL/TOSLINK and HDMI TV-ARC), I decided to purchase a TOSLINK audio splitter. I scoured ebay and amazon and after an hour of searching, I found this unit. It is a much higher spec compared to the very basic units available on ebay. I took a punt and went for it. Does the job nicely. I can now get crystal clear audio from my 4K tv and my 4K bluray player. On a side note, the S7020p has much better audio fidelity than my previous sound bar (LG LAS-260B) which I barely used because I was not impressed with the sound quality (too much bass and sounded hollow, whereas the S7020P sounds crystal clear and all the settings, including the bass can be manually adjusted). Overall, I am happy with this gizmo.
