Spoon is a bit too big in our opinion but the design overall is genius

Found my toddler was avoiding utensils in exchange for his fingers these seem much more comfortable for his little hands

I like the shape of the handles, made for little hands. The spoon is quite big for a little one as they tend to put too much on it causing some spillage. My Granddaughter is only just coming up to 2 years. I’m sure as she gets more adept it will be perfect. I bought the whole set. I would recommend.

We love these. My toddler had the plastic ones when she was 6 months old and learned how to use a fork & spoon with them.

Now she’s older, we’ve got her these metal ones. She feeds herself great with them. Haven’t started on the knife yet, but it’s there ready.

Great design & easy for their little hands to hold.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter reading all the reviews for this cutlery and how quickly people’s children started to use cutlery I bought it – slightly sceptically! I was happily proved wrong as this is the best cutlery for a child to learn with. My daughter was not using cutlery at all then as soon as we started with the Doddl spoon she immediately picked it up and started scooping her food. I would highly recommend to any parent who is slightly on the fence. They are much easier to hold than any other toddler cutlery out there; and although there are other makes with a similar idea this is the best one out there. Also a winning factor for these is they are dishwasher safe!

These are great for little ones learn8ng to use cutlery.
They are very sturdy and perfect for little hands.
My one year old grandaughter can hold them easily and is learning to feed herself with the spoon.
Would recommend and would rather pay a bit extra for these rather than cheap imitations

Easy to use and my great niece loved them and wouldn’t let go of them

My son is 2 and always ate with his hands, or was spoon fed until I bought this set for him. He started to use it from the off. We couldn’t believe it. I highly recommend.

Mr grandaughter has started to feed herself and is very independent!! She manages to scoop food onto a normal toddler type spoon but has difficulty in getting all of the food into her mouth – most goes down her front. The Doddl has solved all the problem she had and most of her food goes into her mouth and not down her clothes. My 4 year old grandson initially found the knife tricky to use but within a short space of time he mastered it.

My 15 month old has been using a pre loaded baby spoon for a while but was struggling to scoop much himself with it due to it being too long so we purchased these after reading reviews.

From the first day of using the doddle fork and spoon he’s been doing so well. Even picking up banana with the fork. Can see how proud he is that he can feed himself with cutlery (although we do still use hands a lot ) would definitely recommend to help little ones gain independence with feeding

I was a bit hesitant to purchase due to the price, but took the plunge one evening. My 18 month old was mainly spoon fed (by me) or would usually eat using his fingers but this cutlery set has been amazing, I have only used the fork and spoon (not tried the knife) so far but he has already mastered the fork and has been using it regularly to feed himself pasta. He no longer wants to be fed by someone else and its all down to the design of these things, as they are so easy to hold and manoeuvre, definitely recommend.

I bought these over 2 months ago, and each day since, I’m grateful for having come across this set. My LO enjoys more autonomy at meal times because of how easy to hold the utensils are and now likes to feed us. I hope they work as well for you & your LO as much as they have for us.

I bought these for my 2 year old grandchild who was struggling to use a spoon for eating her food. She is doing really well now and loves using the “knife” to cut her grapes in half. The fork is much easier to use. We are very pleased with this se

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCannot recommend these highly enough. My baby is 13 months old and she’s a bit of a fussy eater. I was reluctant to get her cutlery because she’s an absolute maniac and the thought of weaponising her tiny, freakishly strong hands is one that filled us with fear.

These seem so much safer than cutlery with longer handles and she loves using her little fork so much she actually eats more!! She’ll decide she doesn’t want to eat and that’s the end of it but give her her fork and she’ll start eating again!

She finished a yoghurt for the first time ever this morning with the spoon. Usually she gets frustrated and flings half of it on the floor. They may seem expensive but they are totally worth it, I have already bought a second set for the grandparents house!

I’ve used alot of kids cutlery and my 18 month old could use a spoon but rarely the fork. Just a week of using this cutlery set and she is doing amazing with a fork. I’m barely having to help her. She finds it so easy. I thought it was expensive but well worth it imo.

This is our second set of Doddl cutlery, our little one gets on so well with hers that we’ve bought a spare set for her grandparents’ house. The chunky handles are easy to grip and the short length ages it easy for her to direct into her mouth. We haven’t tried the knife yet, but I’m confident she’ll find that easy to use too.

My little one started using this cutlery around the 1st of March. By the 20th she completly had the hang of using them the shape of the handles meant we didn’t have to tackle teaching her how to HOLD cutlery as well as how to USE it. The way it is shaped means it just came naturally to her on how to hold it! The shape also means it was very easy to do hand over hand, probably why she learnt pretty quickly how to ‘stab’ (fork) and ‘scoop’ (spoon)
Yet to use the knife with the little one however I have a few times to chop up her food and seems great, its not sharp at all so no risks of chopping of fingers but the big groove like ‘teeth’ mean it’s cuts effortlessly.
Overall very happy, went and purchased the case making it easy to pack and take out with us. Would highly recommend

5.0 out of 5 stars Great shape, easy to teach, definitely worth it!

    This cutlery is amazing!
My two year old used to struggle feeding herself things like a yoghurt using other branded cutlery. I decided to give these a try after many mums recommended them to me.
Really wish I had brought these sooner. From the get go my daughter has been able to feed herself far more effectively. She can now feed herself a whole yoghurt without spilling any or me having to do it.
(Haven’t tried her with the knife yet but it has really changed our meal times with her)

I never normally leave reviews but this cutlery set is truly AMAZING!!

I have both the blue and pink for my 3yr old and 1yr old and they just make meal times so much easier. Not only that, but they’re both growing massively in confidence because they don’t spill food anymore.

I totally understand that the set seems a little bit pricey, but IMO completely worth it because my kids just love meal times now!!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBrilliant first cutlery. It was recommended by a friend for our first child. Onto our second set now as we’ve had another baby. The cutlery is short, chubby and is shaped in a way so your toddler can hold it and guide it to their mouths without (too much) food falling off. The knife does cut but has never felt dangerous- great for practising cutting.
Such good quality- I can’t tell which set is newer and the original set is 2 years older!

I bought this set for my toddler so she could have a fork with metal tines that will actually spear her food properly, but with a short handle so that she would be at less risk of poking herself with it. She gets on great with both the fork and spoon, although she had been using longer handled plastic spoons for a while.

We haven’t introduced the knife yet as she isn’t really ready for one, but I have no doubt she will take to it when she is.

The handle shape and size makes it so easy for her to hold and use properly, we couldn’t be happier.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersFirst of all, I did the Same as most people in these reviews and I played with the idea of buying this set for a while because 17 is a little expensive, I was skeptical!
BUT. Oh my gosh. Wow. We are 11 days in to using this set which I must say is very high quality and solid, great for little hands and he has gone from not being able to use cutlery at all to using a fork and/ or spoon for every single meal with ease (he’s 13 months).
He has mastered it and I am honestly shocked (and so proud).
My advise to anyone on the fence is to just go for it. The results are insane!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this for my son when he was around 8/9 months. We used it as hoc initially, he much preferred his hands as cutlery at first. However I kept offering the cutlery so he was used to it. My little man is now 19 months and has really got to ‘grips’ with the fork, spoon and knife. He eats his dinner so well with it and is able to use it effectively, the weight and shape of the cutlery has gave him the confidence that the food will reach his mouth. We’ve used other cutlery and he’s never used t for more than a few mouthfuls, whereas with this one he will eat a full meal with the cutlery. I cannot recommend it enough – especially for BLW. I’ve recommended it to so many friends and they all love it too. Such a useful tool – and it does the job.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Buy!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWow, wow, wow. This has helped us no end. So many friends with kids of similar aged kids, as well as my sister in law who is a primary school teacher have commented on how advanced they thought my then 9 month old was with learning to use cutlery. This was very much down to the ‘type’ of cutlery gelping her to do so…doddl.

She was scooping porridge pretty well. And by 12 months was using the spoon and fork refularly for every mealtime. This had not been the case when using other cutlery we tried which ended up with the food quickly tipping onto the floor or all over her.

I cant recommend this product enough. We now have a set at both grandparents and a couple at our own home too!

I was reluctant to purchase this set as I thought it was quite expensive for something that might not work. As I did BLW and my baby feeds herself with her hands, I wanted to move her to using cutlery and took the plunge anyway on a friend’s recommendation and bought them. I was actually so surprised when my baby took to them the first time she used them (she’s 14 months). Sometimes the metal end is a bit big for her mouth, but she can and could use them properly from the very start. I couldn’t believe it. She used to throw food everywhere if I ever gave her one of the plastic baby spoons, but she can eat full bowls of curry/ porridge etc with the spoon and fork. Haven’t ventured on to the knife yet but I would definately say these are worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOur daughter always struggled using a standard fork/spoon when eating. We found every time she attempted to put the food in her mouth she would end up tipping the food down herself and making a mess. My wife saw these advertised and read some reviews, at first we were apprehensive as they cost a bit, but we went ahead and ordered them.

We couldn’t have been so wrong, since getting them our daughter has come on leaps and bounds and now a confident little girl when it comes to meal times. The design is perfect for little hands making use of pincer grip technique, she is yet to figure out how to use the knife but she is only 20months.

By far this is one of the best products we have purchased for our daughter and we have been highly recommending them to our family, friends and well, just about anyone we can tell!
