There are different sizes but not very big and the quality is good. They are easy to repair a very small puncture and are very sticky. I applied this to the side of an airbed and it hasn’t gone down after using the bed for visitors. Definitely value for money

Excellent and easy to use patches on my grandson’s ripped coat . Easy to cut to size and made a feature which he was pleased with. Sorry I didn’t take a photo.

Used on torn padded/quilted jacket. Patch has stuck well and blended in with the black colour. Jacket has been washed and tumble dried twice and is still stuck down strong! Impressed!

Wow this is fantastic. Ripped my expensive winter jacket was gutted as I love the thing. Saw these patches on Amazon and gave them a go. Just peel the back off and stick. I’ve been out in all weathers and it’s not going anywhere. Suits my black jacket but available in different colours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant saved my jacke

Sticks well and has held so far for 3 weeks with no sign of coming off. Was hard to exactly match the colour, so looks like a badge-not bad. Better than a hole

Patches easy to use, the adhesive appears to be strong. I haven’t washed the jacket yet.

Had a rip in my lightweight waterproof jacket. Stuck 3 patches on it. Pleased with the result – kept the rain out and the patches are still well stuck on.

These seems to be holding up well after a couple of months on my car’s panoramic roof wind deflector. Something evidently hit the delfector and being made of thin fabric a small hole appeared. These covered the hole – you can see them, but I put one on the other side so it was symmetrical and it looks like they were there from the factory. Prob a little overpriced for what you get but all in all a cheap fix.

Bought to repair some holes in some mountain bike shorts. Obviously they get caked in mud and go through the washing machine a lot. These have held the fabric together and after around 20 washes are still looking good and holding firm. Great product!

A quick and effective repair set. That hear sinking moment when you hear and feel your down jacket get punctured on a sticky out sharp piece of metal/ Path adhered well and is flexible. A slight variation on my jacket but saved many hundreds of pounds on a new one and stopped the stuffing coming ou

I recently got my hands on the incDown Jacket Repair Patches, and I have to say, they are a mixed bag. While the larger patches within the set worked well for me, the small ones proved to be of little use in most cases.

Let’s start with the positive aspects. The larger patches are pre-cut and offer a good amount of coverage, making them suitable for fixing the vast majority of holes or tears. The self-adhesive feature is convenient and saves you from the hassle of dealing with messy glues or sewing. The soft and tear-resistant nylon fabric feels durable and is waterproof, ensuring that your repairs hold up well against the elements. I used these patches on both my sleeping bag and jacket, and they did an admirable job.

On the downside, the small patches included in the set are rather underwhelming. They are too tiny to be of much use for anything other than minuscule snags or pinholes. It would have been great if the package included more larger-sized patches, as they are much more versatile and practical for most repair needs.

When it comes to application, there are a few tips I learned along the way. First, thoroughly clean the area you plan to patch and ensure it is dry before applying the patch. This will help with better adhesion and longevity. When placing the patch, make sure to press it firmly and evenly for a few seconds to ensure a secure bond. Trimming the edges of the patch to match the shape of the hole or tear can also provide a more seamless and aesthetically pleasing repair.

In summary, the incDown Jacket Repair Patches have their strengths and weaknesses. While the small patches are of little use, the larger ones do a commendable job in fixing larger holes and tears. The self-adhesive feature and the tear-resistant nylon fabric are definite advantages. Just be mindful of the limitations of the small patches and consider alternative repair options for smaller repairs. With proper application and a bit of care, these patches can help extend the life of your clothing and outdoor gear.

I caught my Rab coat on a barb wire fence.
I bought these patches to put on until I could get it professionally mended.
The patch worked so well I did not need to pay for a repair.

used on a pair of ski pants with tears. It was easy to apply and seemed to stick well. I then washed in a machine (ok, delicate cycle) but the patches all stayed well adhered. I feel confident the patches will hold up to skiing. Good colour match too.

Delivered on time and a good product. The patches are however small; too small really. The tiny dots are of little use and the pack could do with more of the larger sizes to be effective.
I used them to repair small cuts to the bottom of ski salopettes. I also used a cool iron to help the adhesion of the patches. Time will tell if they will cope with cold temperatures and movement associated with alpine skiing.

These patches are perfect to repair a small tear in my down jacket. Easy to use, came in an assortment of sizes too which I’ll maybe need should I catch my jacket on thorns agai

This product overall is great but the type of repair I did the adhesion wasn’t perfect.
I undertook to repair on reverse of tear within the coat!

I have an unusual green quilted jacket where I’d damaged the arms whilst gardening. I knew that it would be hard to match the fabric so I bought black to match the zip. These shapes are quite small and I would have preferred to have had 2 of each shape so I could have matched each arm. However, I seemed to have made a dog paw shape on one arm( using the largest circle with the smallest shapes). They are easy to use and seem to be stuck on quite well. I haven’t yet washed my jacket so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Repairs hole in padded jacket, but patch isn’t same or similar material.
However, it blends in well (black on black) and saves hole from increasing.

I have a Patagonia down “sweater” which I would describe as charcoal. Not quite black but very dark grey. I was in two minds about picking the colour for the patches. Dark grey worked out perfectly. It is notisable of course that a patch has been applied but much less than you’d think from the photo and the placing is on the inside seem of the arm and really small. The patch is shinier than the jacket but the colour is good. The patch seems good and was easy to apply. Time will tell.

I must say I would hesitate to patch a big rip in a visible spot on the jacket. If that happens I’ll avail of Patagonias free mending service and have it fixed by experts.
