A good jobbing saw bought for general hobby work – no complaints
Good cheap saw . Cuts through timber like hot knife in butter. Good all rounder. For general use . Timber, garden etc.
It’s a saw that cuts wood. It’s sharp enough and perfectly good for the price if all you want to do is cut some planks of wood. If joinery is your profession then you’ll likely want to spend more money on a superior diamond edged cutting tool with laser rangefinder, but if all you want to do is some home DIY then this will do fine. It has a nice comfortable handle that wont give me blisters. While the plastic guard that came with it could be better, it functions.
Happy enough.
I bought this saw over 2 years ago and it still amazes me. It cuts through wood cleanly and with no effort, it’s still as sharp as when I first bought it. If it broke tomorrow I would just buy another one.
I borrowed this saw off my next door neighbour – i was so impressed with it i ordered one for myself! Lightweight but very effective!
Not bad saws well but have had better my fault should have researched bette
Very happy with this purchase as needed to saw a portion of a desktop and with this saw it was almost effortless and done a superb job as its super sharp and gets the job done fas
You name it, it will cut. Plastic, wood, metal, my hand. I love it. Works very well
Lasted a while and no doubt will continue to be usable.
No issues other than trying to get the plastic teeth cover back on can be a bit tricky – as like to do this just in case.
But good robust saw and has done the job of cutting firewood admirably.
Highly recommended.
Purchased so that I could cup up an old model railway baseboard for a trip to the local recycling centre. Woof, plywood, MDF, various plastics and hard glue – it efficiently cut through them all. Probably very good for unintended amputations too, so use carefully.
This is a brutal little handsaw. Not for supper clean cuts but does an exceptional job of ripping through things. Even went through breaze block.
This saw is a beast.
Definitely for first fix as the teeth are gnarly. It rips through wood when you get it going. I did find it difficult to get the initial groove going due to the tenacious teeth but maybe that’s because I’m not very good at wood butchery!
Saying that, it’s a good, solid, well manufactured saw.
