Tambin puedo controlar el robot de forma remota, lo que es especialmente til cuando deseo limpiar antes de llegar a casa.

Good Stuff – Easy set up (even for me!), App is easy to use, good suction on hoover and mops well.
Not so good stuff – It won’t clean upstairs! I have it on good authority (from a techy friend) that if you take it up stairs it wipes out all the mapping that it has done downstairs – so that in reality it is only a one floor bot. Maybe i should have researched it more!? Hence only 4 stars. But with that considered i still think it’s great value for money and am really pleased with it.
This bot is excellent in the performance of two main duties vacuuming the carpet area and washing the tiled floor. I could not believe how easy it was to load the bot for a wet wash.I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Mise en route simple via l’application Xiaomi. Cette version ne ncessite pas d’acheter de sac jetable, il faut nanmoins vider rgulirement le robot. Les accessoires sont faciles enlever pour le nettoyage ou bien pour les changer par la suite. D’ailleurs, les accessoires se trouvent facilement sur le site tout en restant abordable.
Works perfectly, both the vacuum cleaner and mop functions. Easy to set up the app on Android phone. Cleans the pet fur perfectly and the spot cleaning is very useful. Can clean 50 m2 apartment twice with the battery (vacuum cleaning + mopping)
You cannot add detergent to the water for mopping, and it cannot clean dry stains from the floors.
Overall, great value for the money.
There is a line of Dreame F9, D9, D9 Max, D9 Pro, L10 Pro, Z10 Pro and W10 robotic vacuum cleaners. Only PRO versions have a noticeable difference. Everyone else cleans the room the same way.
D9 Max differs from D9 only in increased suction power (this is an advantage). At the same time, the D9 Max has a filter without a grid, which is in all other models (this is a drawback). F9 differs from D9 in the absence of lidar, while it is lower in height, costs less and cleans no worse than D9.
If you are looking for just some smart robot vacuum cleaner, read the difference in the models. Maybe you do not need a more expensive vacuum cleaner, but a simple model will suffice.
Charged it up and then set it off mapping upstairs which it initially made a poor job changing 5 rooms into a jumbled mess of at least 7so wiped that map and let it charge up again and set it off and this time it mapped okay. I went up stairs to see how much dust it had collected which was a lot but cudnt believe my eyes at the state of the robot lots of scratches all round as if it had been in Robot wars. The one it replaced had wandered around for 3 years with none. I took these photos and sent it off on a full clean again closely monitoring and except for the odd gentle tap there were no new scratches so it must have been the initial map as i dont recall seeing any when unpacking tho i didnnt really look. Is this normal?. It really looks like a second one after 1 hour. Am not happy at all. Is it faulty ..What are my options?
UPDATE:
Have had discussions with the manufacturer and they replaced the vacuum and the new has performed as it should with no scratches. Great customer service and now 5 stars
I have dust mite allergy and I need a clean carpet – this is the product that saves my sleep! The app is easy to set up through wi-fi, the robot is fast in mapping and moves fast once it has the map ready. It has happened once that it suddenly lost the mapping, and had to do it again. The next time it was on, the map was ready again. Suction power is great. The water option is not as powerful as the suction, think of it as using a humid cloth – so, dry stains on laminate/hard floor won’t be taken care of. It is easy to clean, and the app will tell you when it is time to change the accessories. I use it 4 times a week and everything is still as new. Good product, easy on the eyes too!
Good for its money ( subject that you buy it on offer and discounts). This is my second robo vac. 1st one I have for the year already is Ecovacs N8. So, it may not be that fair to compare them in between, concidering Dreame is a sub brand, but I hope my comparison can help others. I am also owner of American Akita and a cat. With 80% carpet in the house.
Where D9 max is better to N8:
– Suction power / carpet cleaning performance! It is amazing! N8 has 2300pa and on carpet it needs 2 passes to make it Ok-ish clean of pet hair. D9 Max does it all in one go with perfect result.
– Battery life! I know it is not a big deal as both will return to charging station and resume cleaning once charged but N8 struggles to clean all 3 floors on one battery (as it needs 2 passes to ok clean). D9 max does it well on all 3 with plenty of battery left to mop kitchen and hall if needed….
– Stores 3 maps in memory. (N8 saves only 2 + 1 which only sits in temp memory)
– Value for money. ( With right discounts it offers better value for money)
Now, don’t consider this as negative but I highlighte where Dreame engineers cut corners to save compare to Ecovacs:
– Mapping and general navigation is a bit slower. (Can bump harder, especially at first mapping). However, once mapped navigation is Good with no issues.
– dust box does not have mesh/net (only 1filter). N8 has 3 level of filtration. Dust box does not have a door (if you don’t handle it right you may drop some dust out). The door mechanism to open the box is cheap and may not last long. N8 has a clip for the door which is more secure…
– Main brush. Despite main brush cleans well, the sides of the brush (which you can open to clean from hair) does not have rubber cover like in N8 and therefore you need to open brush from both sides and every time to clean it from hair. (Remember I have big dog and a cat)
– Lidar is not covered. Ecovacs has cover around their lidars so it saves it from dust and hair.
– Cheaper and thiner plastic and some parts like wheels, yet still sturdy enough…
– Mopping performance is Ok -ish at best. N8 does mop way better. However it is subjective and for light clean or to up keep tidyness D9 max should be more than enough…
Other things, performance and abilities are very similar. Despite I prefer Ecovacs app, Mi Home is still user-friendly . Maps editing, no go zones, area cleaning, scheduling, carpet detection etc… are present in both robots. No issues.
Please note D9 Max and Ecovacs N8 both afraid of black areas (carpets etc). Their drop sensors once on black think that they are falling.
Summary:
With the right price it is a very good robo vac and I am happy with its performance so far. It is now happily cleans my 2 floors with N8 is now living on 1st floor cleaning and mopping kitchen, hall and living room only…
If you are looking on this model I would advise you to have a look on D9 Pro instead. Despite Pro version costs a little bit more, sometimes with right discounts and on offer you can get it with very attractive price. Compare to Max, Pro has 2 extra wall sensors, 2 extra fall sensors, faster processor, more memory, mesh in the dust bin and few other little upgrades…
Haven’t tried mop yet, but decent at vacuuming and mapping. Haven’t been able to get it to work with Alexa, yet, though
Initially, opening this up, you get the impression of an intelligent, sleek robot vacuum. It is well made and appears to be of decent quality.
The charging cable is long enough for my needs(1.8m); the lead type is cloverleaf, so if you want a longer cable, you can easily replace it with a longer cable if you need it.
The charging dock also seems well made; it is very compact and not too high and can fit easily underneath the bed or tv unit; most tv stands and beds have good clearance underneath. It has a good-quality anti-skid pad at the bottom so that when the robot returns to the charging station, it doesn’t move around too much.
It comes with one cleaning brush which is easy to replace. I like that the button on top is the ticking button rather than the pushbutton, which are more minor changes to broke or fail.
The bin section is at the back; when you flip it open, you find the bin and cleaning brush which helps remove the hair from the roller; however, I don’t need it yet; I never find hair stuck. The bin is also easy to open and clean; it has a filter at the back, which is easy to clean under the tap water. Make sure to dry it properly before you use it again.
The mopping section is easy to remove when you place this in charging simply by pressing the side buttons. One thing to mention here is that this mopping function won’t work properly if you have a wooden floor and a carpet in the same room as the mopping pad does drag on the rug and takes too much battery life.
I had a robot vac six years ago; it has older technology that didn’t work for me, but this new technology does a fantastic job for me.
Initially, I thought just one brush underneath would be not enough for cleaning, but surprisingly it does work very well; it does pick up a good amount of dirt.
What I particularly like about this vac is that when I place it in a different room, it knows which room it’s in and starts vacuuming accordingly; it’s pretty impressive.
My previous robot doesn’t have technology like this; when I pick it up and place it in another room, it tries to find the charging dock and does its job.
I also like the virtual wall feature, which works well and is easy to set up if you don’t want the machine to go to a particular area. The carpet boost is also a great feature; when it goes on a carpet, the motor enters on a higher setting and cleans the dust very well.
The mopping works well, but In my opinion, you can’t replace this with the standard mopping method as you can’t add the cleaning liquid; you have to use just water—however, its an ideal for top routine mopping.
The App is easy to download and takes no time to connect with the vac; it includes many features which are very helpful to operating the robot how you want.
Overall, I don’t have anything wrong to say about this robot vacuum. The technology is modern and has lots of functions. I am very impressed with the cleaning job; it is a time-saving machine worth spending extra money on.

Our large white cat sheds fur all over the place and I can set this lovely little machine going as often as I want to clear it up.
I have a large L-shaped wooden legged sofa that is difficult to move and this machine glides underneath it perfectly. Also it fits under the bottom kitchen cupboards right up to the plinth. We have several rugs and other obstacles and it copes with them perfectly and if it is running out of battery it just goes back to its docking station to recharge.
I normally set it going as I leave the house but my husband likes watching it so our carpets/floors have never been so clean!!
This is very good vacuum robot and is reflected in its price. It can draw maps during first time, ability to select zone, rooms to clean but it does not pick dust very first time as it is not hit and miss with single side sweeper brush. Also all of sudden sometimes in times of most need it forgets map and starts all over agai
This is the second robotic vacuum I have had, the first i gor 4 or 5 years ago was pretty good, and did a decent job of cleaning, but it was not all that clever and would often get stuck. This Dreame D9 however is coupled with some seriously smart software which has really cut down this issue.
When you first unbox the Vac, you are prompted to download the Xiaomi Home app. Once downloaded you have to pair the D9 with your phone and connect it to your Wifi, and then the magic begins!
Once connected, you simply START the Vac, and it beavers off completing a FULL systemic MAP of your floor, you can watch this progress on the app, and the accuracy of this I have to say is SUPERB.
You can add virtual walls, for places you don’t want the Vac to go, and also separate the rooms (my ground floor is open plan) allowing you to set a schedule based on rooms/areas etc.
I have been using it for a couple of weeks, and I have to say I LOVE IT. The app is brilliant, and I love setting a schedule, and then seeing on the app the route the D9 took to complete the clean. It is VERY good, and I love it.
It gives excellent results especially on carpets.
An ideal cleaning for pet hair and hair bristles.
It can take all the dust on the surface and all the dust on the bottom because it swept the carpets by brushing.
Noiseless operation is also a great advantage.
I recommend it to those who want to benefit from this product of technology, super quality at a very affordable price.
I can definitely recommend it for vacuum your house, including carpet . Floor recognition , suction power very good and easy to use from app , however it’s not the best for mopping
Great robot vacuum and has great suction power, and really cleans the carpet. Also navigates about the house great. And it isn’t really loud at all, great buy and would recommend. Tried a few then got this.
Rita the robot is fantastic, she deals well with dog hair and general muck that they drag in from the garden.
She has made our lives that little bit easier. We can just pop her on while walking the dogs.
The mopping feature gets surface dirt up but you do need to go over with “the big mop” for dried on muck/dirt and those pesky paw prints.

What a great product! This robot vacuum uses Lidar technology to map out each room on your chosen floor. It takes a little time to learn each room on the first use, but once complete its all set.
It doesn’t take long to charge the device out of the box and the setup is really simple, just download the app add the vac and off you go. The suction is superior to other vacs I have used of similar styles and cleans really well. The bumper works well and only slightly touches a surface or object and the vac then reverses and avoids the object.
Battery life is brilliant and it’s so quiet for a vacuum I was shocked. My only criticism is the Alexa/Google home feature is a bit poor, you can only tell it to start cleaning and to charge, you can’t tell it to go to a specific room to clean, so this needs some work.
Overall, I would give this a 4 out of 5 stars, expensive but good quality.
Didn’t realise that this was from Xiaomi, a brand I’m quite familiar with as my current and previous mobiles were Xiaomi models – for me, this is a bonus.
Unbox the robot (hoover!), download the app and you’ll see after it’s done its work that it maps the room and, presumably, memories this to create a more efficient route after each use.
Like cutting the grass, vacuuming is something that’s unavoidable and tedious. This will save you time and I’ve set it to run at 10am each day with a maximum vacuuming time of an hour. I’ll fine tune this over time. When I’m at work, the robot will come alive!
It won’t, if you’re like me, save you any time if you’re in the house because it’s mesmerising – I watch it fascinated as it does its stuff – can’t take my eyes off it.
It’s magic at work and brilliant.

dirt and dog hair comes off our floors. The mopping function is more of a wipe than mop and we still have to mop properly once a week. I have a busy house in the countryside with 2 active boys, a dog and some chickens. This vacuum keeps o top of the dust and dirt that gets walked into the house. I have barely used our Dyson since we’ve had it. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend
Great vacuum cleaner. Once the cleaner has mapped the rooms you choose which ones you would like to be cleaned, set the timer and suction power via the app. It’s great little vacuum cleaner and good for picking up cat hair.

I have had this for less than 1 week and the difference it has made is brilliant. I run it every morning when I start work. It has mapped out the downstairs area of the house and all I need to do is go into the app, press a button and off it goes. I can even select specific rooms for it to clean if I want. It picks up everything no bother and has various suction strengths which handle my laminate and carpet floors. I’ve specifically set it to use the most powerful setting on the carpet and the middle setting for the laminate flooring.
I have not yet used the mop function but I’ll give it a go in the future. For me that is an added bonus.
For anyone wondering… the cats have not yet claimed the vacuum as their noble steed so I cannot comment on it’s rideability.
Really love the product. Very easy to set up and does a good job of vacuuming. Only negative is that it’s a bit unclear how to connect it to Alexa (First download & set-up Xiaomi home then in Alexa app go to – more – skills & games – type Dreame D9 – then choose Dreame “Alexa turn off vacuum” ).
It’s not perfect but it is decent.
The suction power is decent and picks up a lot of dust and debris. It’s easy to empty and clean.
The LiDAR mapping works well and there are options within the app to use multi-floor if you want to move the device around the home. I have 3 levels and have tried this out and it does work successfully but I generally leave this downstairs to keep the areas we use the most clean at the touch of a button (well screen). The LiDAR mapping means this is much more effective than random clean robots and after the first clean, the cleaning algorithm, works well to make sure there is good coverage.
This vacuum is controlled via the Xiaomi app as although it is a Dreame vacuum, it is part of the Xiaomi company. The app works well.
The Vacuuming is decent;however, I haven’t bothered trying the mop functionality. I only have a small area for mopping and as you cant leave the water tray and mop head (according to the instructions) on whilst it’s charging etc., it doesn’t really make it worthwhile me using it. It’s easier just to whip out the manual quick mop.
The app works well and you can target a full clean, a room clean or a zone clean and add areas that you don’t want it to clean – such as no go zones and virtual walls. These functions work well, but there is no option to edge clean only, as there are in some vacuum apps. This isn’t a showstopper though.
Whilst the app is simple, Alexa integration is poor. It has limited functionality with start vacuum and stop vacuum being the only options available. And stopping seems to just abandon the vacuum where it is, where as all functionality, including return to charge is are the app. This means that although I bought this to be used with Alexa – I very rarely use it. I did also have issues connecting to the Alexa Dreame skill, where my vacuum wasn’t showing. Customer support did resolve this issue but it meant that it wasn’t as straight forward as I’d hoped.
As I mentioned previously, the vacuum picks up well and has a 4000pa suction power; which was the highest I found, double most robotic vacuums. The suction is great although the anti-tangle hair brush doesn’t stop hair tangling.
All in all, I’d recommend this and am super happy with it as a product. I would not replace it with an alternative robotic vacuum given the choice so I’d buy it again.
I think this is basically a Roborok S5Max rebranded but otherwise identical but for a lot less money which makes it a bargain. Highly recommended.
