Well packaged and tin of paint in good condition and obviously not old stock. Very very pleased with service and several messages sent to me on progress from dispatch to arrival.
I bought more than one paint for choice so I returned this. I will add I have used this paint before in satin and eggshell and its one of my favourite wood & metal paints to use. I will definitely recommend this paint for any indoor metal or wood paint projects. It doesn’t have a very strong smell and is water based so pretty easy clean up. It’s one of the best paints to use to avoid yellowing as it stays white. The satin version is my favourite finish to use.
Arrived well packed
Most importantly vertically no odour
Easy to apply with a brush
Didn’t really drip unless I overloaded brush
Dries quick so don’t go back over areas or you loose the shine and make brush marks
Not sure about longevity or how it will stand up to every day household activity will update late
Thought it was a bit pricey for such a small tin BUT well worth it it goes such a long way too. Still some paint leftover after painting all our interior wood surfaces skirtings, door frames, shelves, windowsills and stair handrail including 2 radiators. The paint goes on smoothly with no blotching and dries quickly. Applied 2 to 3 coats and the end result is just brilliant, better than I expected. So pleased I spent that little bit extra and went with a trusted brand because you can tell its a quality paint and a little goes a long way. Yes, I definitely recommend
My doors were bare wood with no paint for years, but now after I’ve painted with this wood paint it’s looking 10x nicer. It has a very lovely sheen to it. One thing I’m quiet annoyed about is that this tiny can of paint could barely just finish one whole door. I saw in the comments that people have been able to paint multiple doors with this one can, I just don’t understand how that is even possible.
The paint went on OK. however it didn’t spread that easily and it seemed to dry very quickly. Make sure your radiator is off if you are painting the sill above like I was. I painted already primed widow sill. The coverage and thickness was OK, a 2nd coat was just about needed and does look better for it. The 2nd coat was a bit easier to apply. It dried very quickly. Brushes were really easy to clean, barely any smell. The finish is good as far as I’m concerned, only time will tell how well it wears. I’d worry about how easy it would be to paint something bigger like a door.
