I always buy Duracell rechareables but the cost in the past 5 years is 150% more. They will fit another device. A loyal customer to Duracell.
Bought for my new TV only to find, my new TV remotes are solar powered even though, you can charge them by USB-C
Used for xbox controllers mainly and braun digital thermometer but our other set were several years old and wernt holding much charge for long. Was happy to rebuy more as they definitely got their use! We are gradually trying to use more sustainable options and batteries being one. Would definitely recommend.
Really fast recharge to AAA and AA rechargeable batteries. The charger is compact and can recharge combination of four batteries of AA/AAA exactly what I require. Very pleased again.
TB.
I’m sure over the next few years these will prove to be great value, as long as I don’t forget that they are rechargeable and throw them away before then. Why oh why cannot Duracell make it slightly more obvious that these are rechargeable – more green, different colours, something radical. Fairly sure I recycled my last set, thinking they were ‘normal’ alkalines. And despite the claims on the packet, they needed a full charge before I could use them.
Nice neat charger, with clean lines so doesn’t look clumsy if left plugged it. I’d not keen on these chargers that run off a USB cable as you have the adapter then a cable then the charger which is just messy.
One annoying cosmetic thing is that I also own the 4 hour version and there is no visual indication of which charger is which (even the writing on the back is just all codes) . They look identical so I had to put a sticker on one. I don’t even know why we need two models. Another irritation is that even on the more expensive 45m charger you still get the lowest capacity AA and AAA that they make included. Cheapskates.
I bought these to power my Canon Speedlite / Flashgun for my camera and all I can say is these are excellent, last a long while and continually perform.
My flash gun typically needs time to recharge and draw power from the batteries, meaning you can get a slight lag if you’re shooting high speed continuous (imagine being a paparazzi where it flashes constantly)
I managed to shoot 20 photos consecutively with the flash firing every single time to create a GIF of my customers doing tequila shots (I do nightclub photography) and it fired each time without fail. These are great and I’d recommend spending the extra no matter what you use these for. My Amazon Basics are good, but these are much bette
These are batteries. They are manufactured to a size to fit certain devices, in this case size AAA. They fit the device I purchased them for, so I’d give 5 stars for this if I could. They are also designed to power said device. They do, so again 5 stars if I could. Duracell say they last a long time. I’m hoping so but don’t yet know so I guessed 3 stars here. Amazon’s price is similar to other retailers, So OK, 4 stars. Finally, they are batteries about which I have written a review which I doubt will be of any use to anyone
Best rechargeable batteries I have purchased, they have a really good lifespan and each charge lasts a long time, they charge pretty fast too and especially good value for money.
You don’t know how long batteries have been sitting on a shelf or in storage, whether it’s an online shop or a bricks & mortar one. So it’s a good idea to check the level of charge when they arrive and top them up with a battery charger – it’s straightforward and quite quick.
Rechargeable batteries are cheaper long-term compared to non-rechargeables, so I’d recommend them wherever possible. Over the decades I’ve found Duracell to be a good make, although they’re pricey – you pay for the known name. I’ve bought these Duracell AA batteries from Amazon several times, no probs so far; this time I bought a second label-printer (one for upstairs, one for downstairs) and it requires 4 x AA batteries. If you want fewer or more than 4, search Amazon as you can buy them in different quantities.
Whenever I buy something from Amazon that needs batteries, I buy the batteries at the same time, so that I can use the item immediately it arrives. It’s very handy to buy batteries that way even though you can buy batteries cheaper in supermarkets. Buying batteries online is handy for those who can’t easily go out to buy them or just to save time; for instance, my main shops involve a round trip of many miles.
Using normal batteries just doesn’t cut it when it comes to my Sony A95K backlit remote. This remote burns through batteries every couple weeks or a month at top but having rechargeable batteries, and ones that are 900mAh is a massive upgrade. I will go months without having to replace them and will already have the other set fully charged. The only downside and this has nothing to do with these batteries, is my Duracell charger can only charge 2 AAA at a time. Overall perfect batteries that will last a long time between charges and that’s all you really need.
I first looked on Argos and Currys websites for this product and they both quoted a price of 16.50 + 3.95 delivery charge. So I looked on Amazon and got the same product for 12.50 and free delivery. So, obviously, I ordered from Amazon. The item arrived next day. I use the batterys in my Sennhiesr wireless headphones and they work perfectly. I should get 5 years use out of two batteries then when they die I have the other two batteries to use. So TEN years of usage!
You can’t beat Duracell when it comes to batteries? These Rechargeable AAA batteries are what you would expect? Therefore they do what it says on the tin. Overall I am more than happy with them plus they were reasonably priced too.
Works well and charges quickly. My only gripe is that you have to have sets of 2 batteries in it for charging. Many things I use require one battery at a time so I have to scratch around for another battery to pair with it to charge. Even the made-up brand name from China battery chargers have figured out single battery charging so I thought Duracell might also have
Duracell batteries have a proven record in the market regarding performance, however initially I thought I made a mistake buying 8 pieces of these rechargeable batteries. The issue is that these batteries are bit bulkier that normal AA size and due to that they cause the positive side casing to push further and the contacts may not connect. This is hard to find and need some adjustment to make them contact. Anyone else finding the same issue take note.
Trying to do my but for the planet but these can’t keep up with disposables, I will continue to use them but they are awkward to change in the product I have them in.
If you’ve got kids, you’ll know that the demand for batteries is enough to bankrupt a small country. Fear not, there is a cheaper and more environmentally kind alternative to throwaway batteries and Duracell fill this niche well. It’s a household name and quality is what you expect. Charge time is approx 6 hours from flat, they hold their charge well and perform very similar to throwaway batteries both in terms of longevity and power output. They do not last as long as throwaway batteries but hold their charge longer compared to some of the cheaper alternatives on the market.
A good buy that will kip your kids, and grown ups toys powered without collecting a pile of batteries for the recycling.
bought it for my pendulum wall clock with mechanical moving parts, i thought the battery won’t last too long
but one full charge, 2 batteries keep the clock run for a year three months!
nothing to complain!
I bought them for a portable radio/cd boombox thing, which requires Type C 1.5v batteries.
*** But these are 1.2 volts and the radio didn’t even power on ***
So cant really give proper review… just check before you buy them.
A trusted brand name and it does what I expected. The batteries came with nearly a full charge but I put them on just to be sure and they are doing better than I expected. The price is worth watching as it fluctuates a lot and is sometimes cheaper in the supermarkets. I have even tried some pound shop version and they also work well enough. The brand name is worth the extra piece of mind even if I’m not sure it’s worth the extra money.
Got these to go in my son’s baby bouncer, as the non-rechargeables did not last well at all, so I realised it was likely to become expensive quickly. These seem to hold a charge really well, so far they have lasted about a week longer than the disposables I bought did. I’m happy with the purchase.
Wherever possible I try to use rechargeable batteries these days as I find it far more convenient than having to constantly buy new batteries – especially for kids toys which seem to be using the C an D batteries more and more now, yet can run down easily if accidentally left on. I tend to use Duracell or Energizer simply because I always have used these brands, and found these ones to be as good as others I’ve used. You do need a charger that fits bigger batteries in though, the standard battery chargers tend to only do AA and AAA
I bought these to power a Roberts Vintage DAB/FM radio bought at the same time. Very pleased with the radio performance with these batteries. This is our first digital radio, and the batteries do drain more quickly than I’m used to on analog radios, but perhaps that’s just a feature of digital radios. The batteries are quickly and easily charged ysing the charger supplied and there’s no need to remove them from the radio. I’d buy them again.
Does exactly as what the description says. Takes about 8 hours to recharge to full but they do last nearly as long and normal batteries but with the advantage that you dont have to buy more batteries and its great for the environme
