I prefer to buy them in larger packs as buying 2 or 4 at a time never seems enough. Always seem to do the job well
I use these batteries for decorative lights . I find that is easier to have order them & have them delivered rather going to the shops as I run out..
I always try and buy Duracell batteries because they last longer and are value for money you buy from Amazon they always try and do good deals and they are always a lot cheaper then supermarket prices..
Years back before Amazon i used ti buy these locally..my tv remote just went iffy..twisting/rolling the batterys is failing so..WOW.. tesco where i lived was hasndy but..price..of course Amazon is reliable/fast/c
decent price..i`m so glad i had to move..i`m a uk patriot but..;. i dont like these american ratings..but ok..you do your job well..
Been buying the cheaper energiser batteries from here for about a year and it’s always hit and miss if they will last a week or a month. I got a little fed up with it to be honest so I have resorted back to Duracell, they’re a little more expensive but I haven’t ever had a problem with them.
Good quality batteries, perform exactly as I require them to.
Really? You want a review for a bunch of standard batteries??? I mean, waddaya want??? They are a standardised battery that, through wide ranging agreements with manufacturers of electronics fit many things and – amazingly- convert stored chemical energy in to electricity. Ooohhh science! Right, now off to review that petrol I just bought. Burny.
These are great value but I ordered quantity 2 and expected 2 packs of 18.
I only received 2 packs of 9.
This was annoying but was resolved through Amazon robot chat 🙂
safety comes first in my experience all new Duracell whole range are safety wrapped for my family specially the young grandchildren and great grandchildren beware of other brands and cheapies as there is a thriving business in forgeries not just on line but in well known large stores not are they dangerous they have toxins witch will leak into what ever they used in from toys to very expensive gadgets so its the old saying BUYER BEWARE. from Andystarligh
I have bought a lot of these, but have recently found that not all of the. Pack contains fully charged up batteries, to few to make complaints about but worth making note of to check before you install in your device.
Brilliant and long lasting batteries. Exactly what I needed brilliant purchase
They aren’t the cheapest batteries out there but it’s worth it as they are great quality from a brand I know and trus
I can never find batteries when I need them so I think getting a bulk pack of 18 is a great idea. First impressions of then were good, the packaging is well designed so you can take some out and it kind of hooks shut again so they don’t all roll out. We’ve put them in some of our daughters toys a few weeks ago that had previously run out of batteries and they’re still going strong despite daily use. So far they’ve lasted well and I really like the fact we have a fair few spare now so we aren’t going to be caught short by the next “batteries not included” sign!
Overall I think they are good quality and by a respected brand so I’d happily recommend them.
Well what can I say, these are Duracell batteries in the popular AAA size. For most people that is enough, if you haven’t heard of or used Duracell batteries you have probably been in cryostasis for the last 40 years or so!
But seriously, these are your usual high quality Duracell batteries in a larger 18 cell size pack. This is great for putting in the drawer for the day you need a replacement battery. These ones are great for remotes and other devices that are relatively low power drain but you use for years. As with all Duracell batteries these are very well made and incredibly unlikely to ever leak, in all the years I’ve been using them I’ve never seen a Duracell leak unlike other brands that claim they don’t.
One thing that does distinguish these from the normal AAA Duracell batteries I’ve bought in recent years is that these are claimed to be ‘New Plus batteries with up to 100% longer life’. Whether this is true of not is difficult to tell as Duracell batteries generally last for ages anyway, but if true you’re likely to find in something like a remote these will probably outlive the life of the remote itself! I know I’ve got remotes about that have Duracells in that have been in there for anything up to 4 years without any issue.
Of course these will probably come into their own in higher current drain items, however by definition those sort of items are more likely to use AA or bigger cells in the first place for the simple reason that they will drain a battery quicker. As such I don’t really have any devices that have high current drain, about the worst item is a torch, but even that doesn’t need batteries changing for months at a time.
But assuming the claims of extra long battery life are true these could be the last batteries you’ll ever need for some of your gizmo’s. So do the right thing and shell out for these rather than those pound shop batteries that last only a few weeks and which you run the risk of leaking and destroying your devices!
I have used more budget batteries than this and these days I do tend to use rechargeable ones when I can. However something simply don’t work well with those so these make a great alternative. I’ve used Duracell batteries when they are a decent price (no price shown currently so hard to gauge that) and always been happy with them. These are rated at 1.5v however all these tested above 1.6v and the majority close to 1.7v which suggests they should do well. They have worked well in everything I’ve used them in so far.
A small cardboard packet of batteries. The packet will open in a way to allow you to take one out at a time and then seal it up again. Or you could just tear it apart. As you will.
There’s eighteen of them in there. These are duracell batteries, which do have a good long life to them.
The type is AAA18. LR03/mn2400.
So with eighteen of them, there’s a good lot to keep you going.
This range does produce batteries that meet your needs nicely, so these will do just that.
Duracell Plus MN2400 batteries in a pack of 18. Previously the Plus version was rated at up to +50% capacity, now these are rated at up to +100% which is what the Ultra were claimed to be.
Short of flattening one in the standard test cycle we have to take their word, however I’ve always liked the longevity of the Duracell batteries and these seem to be as good as usual. And to see the results of a test in a remote control one might have to wait ten years or so, which is why one needs it to be really genuinely leak-proof.
Without seeing a selling price on this Vine sample of 18 new version cells I’m unable to suggest if they are good value for money.
These 18 Duracell Plus AAA 1.5V batteries are ideal for The TV remote control and low power devices where you need them to last and be reliable. They work fine and arrived in good condition. The best before date is 9 years and 4months from now and are made in Belgium.
