Been buying the cheaper energiser batteries from here for about a year and it’s always hit and miss if they will last a week or a month. I got a little fed up with it to be honest so I have resorted back to Duracell, they’re a little more expensive but I haven’t ever had a problem with them.
After using Duracell batteries for years, I will not use others, as in the main do not last like Duracell!
Very happy to get my batteries and at a very good price too. I was impressed. I wasn’t expecting my delivery until today (Wednesday) but they came on a Tuesday evening when I had just got home so the timing was fine. The delivery driver, with ancestry outside of the UK, was very good looking and very nice too. I’m one happy customer.
What can you say further to Duracell batteries. Good value
Use these in my Yale Burglar Alarm system. They are used in the individual sensors, of which there are 7 units. They typically last about 5/6 years in this application being monitored by the main Control Unit. I can recommend these Batteries to anyone looking for reliable units for similar applications.
I have been using Duracell batteries for years, I change the brands now and then, but this is number one on my list.
This pack of 18×2 AAA has a shelf date of 2031, so I have plenty of time to use it before it expired. I mainly need these batteries for my remote controls, including TV, Sky, ceiling lights etc. And for the toys.
So far, I have used five batteries for my remotes, It’s been over a month, and still, I don’t need to change the batteries. I never had an issue with leakage too. However, I find these batteries don’t last too long compared to the “Duracell Ultra” that I have in my camera and my son’s toys with the motor.
I like the feature design of the box, allowing me to pull off the batteries from the top and close the lid for secure storage, unlike the packaging of some other brand that I have to rip apart to get to the batteries.
I can’t comment on a price as it’s currently unavailable, but I am sure it’s worth every penny.
I hope this review helps you to make a purchasing decision.
We always have use for this kind of battery in my house, remote controls and small electrical items. I have tried a few brands, own brand and branded like Duracell and I always come back to Duracell. They are so long lasting. Cannot comment on value as they aren’t currently available but I would expect them to be good value, especially if they are a Subscribe & Save line.
Duracell batteries last a very long time, in my experience. I did intend to wait for this review until I had used up a set but that would take too long. 36 triple A batteries for all those gadgets that havent moved over to a rechargeable USB system. They dont appear to be available on Amazon, so I cant reveiw the price
These arrived in two separate branded cardboard boxes with 18 batteries in each box. The boxes have a tear tag to open them and are designed in such a way as to allow you to open and close the side of the box for storage and dispensing which I found to be useful.
I use a lot of rechargeable batteries in items but some of the devices I have will not work with rechargeable or their use is clearly not recommended so am regularly buying non rechargeable ones and Duracell for more important items.
I am familiar with Duracell batteries having used them many times over the years and without doubt they last far longer than any other batteries, and more consistent and reliable. I often get swayed by price rather than longevity and reliability for a lot of items I buy batteries for, but I do go for Duracell batteries in things such as clocks, smoke alarms and anything that it’s awkward to change the battery in.
Overall these are in my opinion the best batteries on the market. They do have a price that reflects that so the balance of price against longevity and reliability becomes a personal choice, for me I judge this on the importance of the item such as a smoke alarm and a clock having a Duracell and a TV remote a cheaper battery. Overall for reliability and longevity I really can’t fault them and for this reason I have given top marks.
Duracell are arguably one of the best known sellers of batteries for small appliances. Like many I have all sorts of devices in the home and they take a variety of sizes of battery. You can guarantee that the ones that go flat are the ones you don’t have spares for. This is where a pack of 36 is a real benefit. I now have a stockpile for the next time my TV remote stops working.
Great value for money and such a great idea to sell in bulk.
I got these to review prior to there being a listing – so I have no idea what these will sell for. Hence I have hedged my bets by going for 4 stars, butthat should not be taken as any concerns about the quality of the batteries themselves. But then as probably the top brand for quality batteries, you don’t need me to tell you that. What I can say is that where possible I try to use rechargeable batteries – but there are some situations where these are better. Typically in low drain situations like remote controls. For those you need to be confident thatthe batteries won’t leak as they are likely to be in situ for years at a time. Duracell delivers on that front. The packaging on this is all cardboard – no plastic at all. So top marks for that.
These Duracell batteries are always my go to AAA battery when you need something with a little more power for hungry devices.
I’ve been using AAA Duracell Plus for a while and can definitely recommend them if you’re after the best battery out there.
In this package, you get 2 separate branded packets of 18 batteries. They’re genuine and have all the required dates, etc printed in them.
If you need the power in AAA format, get these batteries now.
You can buy cheaper batteries as I have done many a time in the past but you end up replacing them so quickly and having to buy new ones. I think cheaper batteries at the end of the day work out more expensive. I have used Duracell batteries for years and think they are the best by some way. They last the longest by far. They do not leak. Buying them in bulk like this saves a fair bit and a good way to have batteries in stock. These are top quality multi purpose long lasting AAA batteries. Recommended.
