Easy to assemble and use. Only criticism is the blades fall off too easily and I go through too many blades. However I find it much better than the string fed strimmers

Sorry for the late review, but due to the terrible rain only just got chance to put this strimmer to the test.Assembly instructions easy, charging up/ fitting battery easy…dry day,so off we go.I was very impressed with the power of this strimmer… It’s lightweight, yet powerful, and I used it for around half an hour on one charge..very satisfied and glad I made this choice.

A useful item especially it doesn’t need a frustrating to use cartridge holding the strimming wire…a bit fierce just be careful or else it will give any plant a servere haircut…other wise it’s ok.

Seems more powerful and cuts through the long grass better than my previous strimmer. Purchased a battery with more time so can do my full garden in one charge. Easy to assemble and store away. Can buy replacement blades on Amazon.

We bought this product to compliment (ie battery compatible) with Einhell lawn mower. The product is light weight and easy to assemble. The battery (bought separately (4Ah) was more than enough for our smallish garden trimming. Having been used to a corded strimmer with plastic strimmer wire this seemed like an easier option. Whilst its easier to use cordless the plastic blades very easily wear down if contacting stone or edging strip etc. Overall more convienient than corded but the blades may prove frustrating. Also be careful when cutting near plastic edging strip as it sliced through ours easily!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersNeeded something other than a petrol strimmer to tackle an overgrown allotment. This works really well and takes on tough nettles, thick undergrowth. Only downside is the plastic blade will fly off if it’s hits really thick quite woody stems but if you can find said blade and it survived the flight you can reuse it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for allotme

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had real problems with my verge. I have a stone border and a raised garden that was later paved, leaving two levels of paving. The edges between the paving at the bottom of the border and the top is almost impossible to clear of grass sods. This machine cleared them easily. I didn’t think it worth getting at first; how wrong I was. The garden has never been so easy to deal with. The battery lasts at least an hour. I’ve never used it for more than an hour, so can’t comment on how long it will last, but it runs well. The plastic ends do come off if you hit a stone (or paving) so I would recommend buying them in bulk, but they’re really easy to change. There is no safety, so remove the battery when changing them, but it is easy enough. The battery charger is simple to use too. Perfect accompaniment to the hoe.

Easy to put together and light weight to use. However, a bit short on safety features as I have previously used a BD strimmer without goggles but with this one definitely I would never use without goggles as dirt and bits kick up all the time. Also no safety on the power handle so if pressed by mistake could cause a hurtful problem. Otherwise a great buy and works well for the price with long battery time.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI like nearly everything about it but its hard to judge how low to go to the ground because if you go too low it takes chunks out. Theres no guide. Theres only a guide for the front of it.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersTo be honest I’m shocked at how good this little thing is!
The battery was so fast at charging and it’s even better than a really expensive petrol one we borrowed in the past.
    First impressions are 10/10.
    Would definitely recommend it!
As you can see how long and wild our grass was in the video to how short it gone in just 5 mins it’s really lightweight which when unboxing was a bit worrying and has really worked well, it has been money well spent up to now.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our Usersbut the lawns were too long. This strimmer is a huge improvement on my Bosch one which was 13 or so years old. It is light, easy to handle, height adjustable (so better posture can be achieved) and surprisingly powerful. The battery is lasting about 45 mins on a full charge strimming grass between 2-6 inches long. I left the battery charging for 3-3.5 hours and it was fully charged after that period. My only slight disappointment is that there doesn’t seem to be the rods which you could hang spare cutter blades on with the Bosch. Other than that it has far outstripped my expectations.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI bought this as I was fed up of cable strimmers always faffing with threading the bloody cable so chucked it and bought this save me changing line and dragging extensions around.

Assembled easy enough charging the battery as it comes with a 18v 2.0ah battery I have a slightly larger capacity smaller battery on my einhell multisaw at 2.5 so stuck that in. And went for a strim

Strimmer round the edges, just gress dead easy cuts brilliant, a bit rubbish in the corners around posts as the tab baldes pull off, but go back on pretty easy. Stringer weeds, thistles and dandilions cuts with equal ease, odd collision with bricks and soil without issues. So I though I’ll try and break this blade. …streamed down a patch over grown garden not expecting much, however it monsters that without issue so I’m pleasantly suprised.

    Deffinelty worth the price

I bought this as my neighbour has one, and i was fed up with messing about with the nylon cord on my mains electric strimmer. This is a mid-range (cost) strimmer, and seems very good for its relatively low power. I get about 30 minutes running on a charge, and it cuts grass and leaves quire well. The plastic ‘blades’ work well – I recommend buying the extra blades. Overall I recommend this strimmer, but don’t expect wonders from it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was in two minds about getting another cordless strimmer as the last one (an own brand from a DIY centre) was so useless – but this one has pleasantly surprised me. It is very lightweight, the clip on plastic blade is much easier to fit and remove than the string type, and does the job just as well. It is powerful enough to cut thick overgrown grass – but only giving 4 stars as no safety feature when switching it on – you have to be careful when picking it up by the handle that you don’t accidentally start it. Battery doesn’t take long to charge. Make sure you wear protective eye wear when using it as its has enough heft to flick stones and grit up!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThe only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because I wish a second battery had been included. The fully charged battery last about 15 minutes and to have a second one would make all the difference from the allotment I am using it on!
The blades are very easy to change and I really appreciate that because they are plastic the danger of the strimmer goes away once the battery is unclipped.
It is frustrating when I have to clear the spinning part (sorry no idea what real name is) but I imagine as I deal with the jungle that was/is my allotment this will happen less and less.
