I have a more powerful corded blower but I reach for this 90% of the time because it is light and cordless
Surprisingly powerful
I recommend a large battery for extended run time
Wasn’t sure if this would be a help or an hindrance
As it only blows and not collects
I found it to be good in narrow areas but difficult
to gather in wider areas as it simply blows around too much even with the nozzle
the more I use it maybe I will find a technique
I have this, along with the cordless grass trimmer and the lawnmower. I bought the trimmer with the battery and charger and swap the 2.0ah battery into this blower. The battery has plenty of life for both tools for a number of uses, and it swaps out and in really easily, like a drill or other handheld power tools.
This blower is easily powerful enough for dry leaves, stay grass trimmings, gravel and dirt. It’s light weight and easy to swing around. I can’t tell you how satisfying it is to just pick up a tool and use it, rather than have to trail out 320m of cabling and weald heavy equipment. It cuts down time for garden clean ups massively. I’m young and healthy but this surely is a godsend for those older or less equipped to use heavy items as well.
The larger battery for the lawnmower also fits this so, if you have that you could use that too and the blower would have even longer life.
Highly recommended. I can only assume any negative reviews were from those seeking industrial grade tools for big jobs. This is not that, but deals well in suburbia.
My house is surrounded by trees and inparticular a most annoying Silver Birch which toweres over my house and drops, leaves, then twigs, then seeds, then sap all year long, but I can’t touch it because it is under a TPC. The seeds alone would usually take me an hour to sweep up and they blow right over the house onto the decking and patio behind as well. The attached video was straight out of the box, no reading instructions and didn;t even charge the battery. This was on the highest setting but to say it isn’t very powerful – maybe compared to petrol models. But for light work this is a game changer. I’m sure even for leaves, as long as you clear the heavy/wet piles, this would be great. And as someone else suggested, I even used it to blow out dust from corners and radiators in the house that haven’t ever seen a duster.
I’m going to keep this handy and in good condition indoors, next to my hoover and use it regurlarly for all sorts of cleaning tasks. It is light enough, even with the larger 4aH battery (and I have early onset arthritis). I can’t fault it and rushed on here to review. It’s a great price too. I almost picked up a 2nd hand petrol blower and that was 40 but would have been cumbersome, outdoor only use and twice as loud. I am very happy.
Needed a small leaf blower for my garden and workshop. Bought this one as it was on offer. A little concerned as it had mixed reviews but.. it’s great. Lightweight, easy to use and comfortable. More powerful than I expected. On low settings, even good for behind the fridge etc. Well worth i
Having already other Einhell products and batteries this was my best option- the blower performance was very good allowing me to clear a large area of garden leaves, l used a 4 amp rated battery that lasted approximately 30 minutes
I needed an electric blower to do some quick jobs, and I decided to buy this one.
My main use includes blowing leaves and an excess of water after power washing.
My observations after 3 months of usage:
What I like:
– Lightweight
– Compact size( easy to store and pack in even a small car )
– Good battery life( I bought it with 4.0mAh battery )
What I’m not so happy about:
– The handle is designed in a way, it is virtually impossible to hold the blower without pressing the button, located on the inside of the handle. So if you just want to move the blower, you end up pressing the button and the blower starts blowing… The button to activate the blower is almost along the entire length of the handle.
– The speed of the blower is regulated using the small scroll wheel with numbers from 1 to 6. It would be much more convenient if you could select the power just by applying the right amount of pressure on the handle itself. If you need to blow gently, you need your second hand to change the settings.
– The power of the blower is good enough for small jobs and dry leaves. Most of the time, you have to keep the end of the nozzle quite close to the object you intend to blow.
The worst part of this product is the design of the handle and the way the balance of the blower is being set. I use a variety of blowers( petrol and electric ) in my work, but this one, despite being lightweight, is very uncomfortable to handle even for a few minutes. It causes an unpleasant strain on my wrist, much more than a way heavier petrol blower does, even when used for 30min. straight… This is probably the biggest downside for me, and for that reason, I would not recommend it if you have any professional use in mind.
It would be great to clean a messy car, garage, or small rooms, and tidy up your driveway or small lawn/ borders in your garden. I even used it to dust off the inside of my PC a few times 🙂
Power set to maximum 6 and it blows leaves effortlessly.
We have 2 batteries from our Einhell lawnmower and strimmer. 4ah and 2ah. works well with both.
Much easier and more fun than using the broom to sweep the drive of leaves.
I purchased this because I already had the battery and charger it is quite a powerful blower and makes short work of piling up the leaves, I am very pleased with i
This blower is a decent enough piece of kit – it doesn’t quite ‘blow’ other blowers away. For basic trims to clear, it does the job. It lacks the power to clear tougher, or larger build-ups of grass and cuttings, I’d definitely recommend looking into the 36v version.
Over all, not bad for the price but it lacks the power desired.
Body only. I bought the charger with a 2.5 battery separately,
Very light weight, and if you set the power to max the blowing power is exceptional for such a small blower. I chose the version with the two-part black nozzle as that makes it useful for blowing out the dust and debris from garage shelves too. Einhell products are not deWalt or Makita, but they’re also not super pricey. They’re well made, reliable and good value. I searched everywhere for something of equal quality at a reasonable price and found nothing comparable. I’d definitely recommend.
One small thing, once you push that black nozzle on the body you won’t get it off again. That’s not a push-button on the side, it’s a locking tab and Einhell confirm this.
Not the most powerful blower out there, but certainly good for this price-point. Sufficient to clear up my garden. Battery from the same make hedge trimmer fits perfectly. Charging is quick and blower is ok. I would recommend as long as you don’t need a super-powerful blower – if you do then you need to spend at least three times the price!
I have a few einhell products and they’re all very good. The leaf blower is another one that fits the bill. Decent amount of power, decent amount of time from the battery and light weight and comfortable to use.
It’s not going to match a petrol powered one but for every day garden jobs it’s perfect.
When my main cordless drill stopped working, I was looking for what tool replacement to buy and found Einhell. This brand, in comparison to others is excellent value for money.
The leaf blower now compliments my ever growing tool collection to match the battery system. It’s lightweight, powerful and does the job.
Having used a blower that converts to a vacuum for the last few years, something that involves hassle changing nozzles and reversing the motor, etc. we opted to go for separates. This just blows but it gets the leaves to where we want them (the lawn so we’re not sucking up soil blockages) and is a delight to use, being lightweight and cordless. I should add that drills, cutters, trimmers, etc have all gone the Einhell 18 volt cordless route in recent times so, if it’s obviously more convenient for us that someone who isn’t Einhell equipped.
Bought this blower for clearing leaves in the garden and polytunnel.
Been getting 40 minutes on a charge. Found there is enough blow from the nozzle to use it on middle setting
The blower was easy to assemble and works perfectly, using my existing 2ah battery, clearing quite a thick gathering of leaves from my gravelled courtyard without any sign of depleting the battery. I have found Einhell tools to be very good value for money.
