So ive been using this for a while now. Its very moisturising and really help with skin issues both my son and i have. The only issue i have is it is a little greasy after application but that may the key to it working well
I wanted this to calm an old hypertrophic scar and itching around my rib area. I can’t believe how well it has worked on the scar. From a dry itchy raw scar, I now just have a scar line. This product is thick, a little like Vaseline, so I only put it on at night but that is enough. All itching has gone. Definitely recommend.
i have used this for a long while. GP use to prescribe it but no longer alowed. If you have dry sensitive sking it is perfect. As it is an ointment can be greasy but it is quickly absorbed into your sking. Tub last for ages and good value on Amazon compared to other chemist shops.

I usually use Aquaphor and this has been my go to for years.
This time that only aggravated it and made it more itchy. Someone recommended this brand to me and the last two flare ups this has gotten it under control within days of using it, and only using it twice a day. I am so happy. Doesn’t sting when applied, odourless which helps. Love love love it !!
This emollient is very good, it works better than any other cream/ emollient I used before. The down side is, it’s expensive for continual use.
Will enquire if it’s available on prescription.
Very rich ointment that doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy. Originally prescribed by the GP to treat eczema and was great so have continued to use it for the whole family during the winter months when skin can feel very dry.
My family have used this product for years since my son was a baby to treat his eczema. He is now 12 years old and his eczema very well controlled. It’s part of the family and his skin completely healed.
Good for eczema keep ur skin nice and soft last for a good couple hours before u have to put more on it’s the best cream that works for my daughter so fa

I like the fact that you can use it as a soap too so if the little ones skins a bit on the dry side or they suffer with eczema it’s fantastic!

My daughter suffers with eczema all over her body. Her hands split when dry and her arms and legs are raw when it’s bad. I have tried several different E45 Creams, moisturisers, psoriasis medicated creams, this knocks the socks off of them all. I had various excema on my legs, and my forearm was so itchy and bumpy, it was driving me to distraction. Very Happy to say I’m not even a quarter way through this tub and it’s more or less completely gone, Can’t rate this Highley enough
Having just endured the ravages of a 3-week course of topical 5-Fluorouracil to treat widespread AKs on my face, I was looking for an intense moisturiser to use in the subsequent phase when the skin has become extremely tight, as if wearing a mask, inflamed, very sore and inclined to crack painfully with every facial movement. Anybody who has been through this treatment process will immediately be able to relate to what I am saying. Epaderm was recommended to me as the perfect solution to my needs by a relative of mine who had used Epaderm successfully for a number of years to treat bad Eczema. It is unscented, with no added colouring, no SLS and has a wonderful smooth consistency which makes it easy to apply to even the most sensitive skin. And the thing I appreciated about it most of all is that it caused me absolutely no discomfort, it didn’t sting or burn at all, when I applied it to my face. What did happen though was that, within 24 hours, the mask-like top layer of skin that had been successfully treated by the topical 5-Fluorouracil slowy and painlessly began to become detached and flake off and 72 hours later (with very little assistance from myself!) had virtually all come away leaving pristine, pink, new skin beneath. This new skin needs extra special care and protection – not least from the sun’s rays – and intense, deep moisturising, especially in the first few weeks, whilst it “matures” and again Epaderm is proving the perfect product for my needs. Be aware that Epaderm is NOT a sunscreen; you should take all necessary steps yourself to avoid the sun’s rays coming into contact with your face and forever after, when outdoors, wear a sunscreen on your face of minimum Factor 30 to protect your skin and prevent further damage! As a product to soothe and protect your skin and to promote a speedy recovery phase after treatment with topical 5-Fluorouracil, I have found Epaderm the perfect solution and would highly recommend it to others in my position.
I have been buying Epaderm for years from Amazon now due to dry skin and this product is amazing as it stays on skin for a long period of time without drying up. You can also use this cream before the shower and after toweling the skin should not dry up. However, I have found that it is out of stock from time to time.
I have used all sorts of creams to try and deal with red, sore and flaky skin patches on my face and a chemist recommended using any moisturiser many times a day on these areas. Absolutely nothing has work, E45, Aveeno, Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and loads of others. I was recommended Epaderm ointment (not cream) by a colleague. Within two days, the redness and crusty feel of my skin disappeared. Within 5 days my skin is normal, no patches, no dryness and no flakes. I am so impressed with this ointment. The only down side is that it makes your skin look very greasy when applied. Sitting out in the sun with it on I would not recommend, it felt like it was dripping like grease on my face. I just put the ointment on now before going to bed and the skin has absorbed it by the morning and my skin is left smooth and health looking.
My dad started developing skin condition and started to get worse gradually. His skin, head and even on inside ears. Bought this product for him because it did have a good review for skin condition treatment. he started applying this product on his body and scalp and it showed little effect at the beginning ( for about a week). But after he started applying it on his body specially on the affected areas and wrapping his arms and legs with cling foil for faster absorption. this was when the magic happened, he started seeing massive improvement just with in few days after. now he is almost completely free of the scars, the itching. we have ordered more of this product now. if you have a serious Psoriasis or eczema try to do what my dad did ( apply and wrap with cling foil) if it is not severe just apply it as normal. now he is just applying it just like body cream. thumbs up to this product I give it 100%.
I bought this for a double purpose: to use on dry skin on the soles of my feet and also to help with dry lips.
For my feet this has been excellent. On the hard, dry skin it is easy to apply, despite being quite thick. It doesn’t have a pleasant aroma – though neither is it unpleasant, but this isn’t an issue on lips.
For lips it doesn’t work as well. The softness of the lips makes it harder to apply the product, and it remains rather waxy and leaves an off-white coating to the lips.
Overall, I would recommend this for use on harder areas of skin.
