First time working with Matt pla and I’m impressed. Absolutely lovely filament to work with, I need to get a blue one now.
No issues printing. No changes to printer needed

Again, Eryone has knocked it through the park with this filament!
What a lovely colour and so easy to work with. I would recommend for all first time and experienced users!

Used this a few times now and have to say it sticks well.
Using on my own design built printer and with the bed above 35 degrees.

    Worth every penny.
Bonus. Has a cardboard spool to can be recycled.

I’ve been wanting some matte dual for a while and my god has this beaten expectations
Will definitely be buying more from one of the best filament brands going, ERYONE!

Looks amazing with ironing tuned properly. Glitter stays in the toolhead so use some purge/cleaning filament or do a cold pull with polypropylene or nylon. My friend is really happy with the board game organizer I made.

Printed on a Voron Switchwire with e3d v6 hotend, well tuned profiles and PEI beds. Don’t expect prints this good if your printer can’t already do this with decent filament.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, prints well

Started to use eryone pla more since I had one pack purchased for a project I had a commission for. Printed well. So this is my next batch. I am spray painting the parts so the colour is of little importance for this batch. It’s Warhammer stuff.

    Would buy again.

Love the amount of glow from minimal charge in sun light, i printed some kodama to go on my fence in my drive so i can see where it is at night this was a great idea as i knew there was glow filaments out on the market. left them in the sun for 30 minutes to test the amount of charge it would need to stay lit throughout the night and wasn’t disappointed
printed at 210 hot end and 60 on the bed pie magnetic build plate, release easy low stringing and easy to print

    great stuff

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi wanted to print a aa and aaa battery missile holder sam system thing that i seen on printerverse, and also a box to store my spare nozzles in and settled on this olve green.

the colour is nice but i could not get a single print to come off the bed without a warped corner, it might of been due to a draft im not sure as my setup has changed significantly since buying and printing with this filament, like any filament the adhesion is in your beds cleanliness and your capacity to isolate the print area from temperature changes, the filament sticks to itself very well.

It’s a very nice typical drab army olive green colour.

I’m new to this brand and I’m sure that once I have the settings sorted it will be one of my favourite filaments as I am very impressed with the results so far.

Approved! ERYONE makes really great products, TPU is one of the best, PLA same exceptional great quality from first layer, first print, I use it to print the Thing, and result is stunning! First impression when opened the box was, fillament looks to pinky (peach color), but actually the fillament is exactly as it should be for skin colour. I really like it, 0.16 layerr height, nozzle trmp 205, bed 60, standart settings, Klipper, with high acceleration, so I can definitely recommend this PLA. Not happy only with price, it changed in few days) Anyway ordered one more spool of skin color.

Started off buying eryone when i got into printing but out of cost and curiously I sampled a few other brands which were cheaper. Got to say, I know why I came back to this, the quality conparisson is so much better and worth the few extra quid per spool. . I usually use black but quality wise, once dialed it I found this grey to be much prefered and much easier to visual Inpect detail whilst printing and post printing process for prep and paint. Overall its great quality filament and certainly keep using it.

Eryone is my go to filament, I have used practically all of their filament and decided to give this matte blue Lilac a go…and I’m very glad that I did.

It prints extremely well with standard settings, I find that I never need to tweak my printing settings with Eryone’s filament as it is always consistent and reliable. It provides a unique colour and finish.

I highly recommend this filament aswell as all other of Eryone’s filaments.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality filament!

Really pretty filaments! Great colour fade and matt finish.
Quite brittle though so don’t mess around with it while its in the extruder unless you want to pull snapped pieces out with some tweezers 😛
I’ve had best results at 185C (which seems really cold for me) printing at 150mm/s on Ankermake M5.

This has to be my favourite of the many types of PLA filament I’ve used on my Ender-3 Pro printer. The print quality is superb with very little flash (as you can hopefully see from the attached photo of a 15mm diameter gear without any clean-up after printing), and for me 200 deg C and a medium fan speed seem to be the optimum printing parameters. Adhesion to the bed is really good, and the material also excels in how cleanly it comes away from the backing raft without ever getting stuck (probably because of the smoothness of the top layer of the raft). I’ve also never had any problems at all with distortion – it’s a dream to work with. Mechanically it isn’t as strong as some filaments, but I’ll take that very small downside for all the positives this material brings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic print quality, easy separation and no distortio

So i will start by saying i have used about 60% of the spool so far. and not had a single snap. but it was horribly wound. but hey, at least it’s not snapped so far. So I’m not faulting them too much. First print i did was a 39 hour print for this maoi head. and i’ve got to say i’m impressed. not only does it look nice. but it does have the weird texture mix to touch that feels like wood but “not quite”. like, if you ever touch PLA in itself you’d notice a difference. it looks good. and will be buying more rolls of this for more prints in future

4.0 out of 5 stars Horribly wound, But very good filame

I am new to 3d printing and have a flashforge adventurer 3, my go to filament is esun pla+ which is even better than the pla supplied by flashforge.
I heard ERYONE was good so gave it a try, in fact everytime it drives me nuts an I take it out I leave it a few days and decide to give it another try. Whilst it has managed to produce a couple of adequate prints it has produced a lot more tangled messes.
I cannot honestly recommend this stuff even on a heated bed.

UPDATE – I have sold the Adventurer 3 and bought an Ender 5 pro, I tried the roll of Eryone PLA on it and the results are fine. Not noticeably different to the esun PLA+. It does seem a little less able to stick to the bed so you have to make sure it is really level whereas the esun PLA+ is a bit more forgiving.

I’m no 3d printing expert, and use fairly old QidiTech 1 dual extrusion unit.

I don’t often print, but when I do, I set aside half a day to get the calibration right. I’ve always just assumed it was the unit that was a little temperamental.

Adhesion and lifting have always been a challenge for me, and no matter how much glue, painters tape, special filmy tape or whatever, nothing works.

So, turns out that the “freshness” of the PLA being used actually does matter. A lot.

I spent the better part of three hours today trying to make a simple print, and no matter how much calibration etc., no luck. I’d ordered the ERYONE filament because it was the colour I wanted, so tried to print whilst waiting for it to arrive. No success – 8 or 10 tries and just a jumble of melted plastic.

The ERYONE PLA arrived, and, as if by magic, first print 100% as I wanted it. 2nd print – 100% as I wanted it, third print about 48% done, and looking good.

So, if you’re having trouble with your prints, ditch the old PLA you’ve had lying about in your storage cabinet for years and use fresh. It seems to make the world of difference.

My primary 3D printer is the Eryone Thiniker S and has given me nothing but great prints (providing the settings are on point) so I have high expectation from their own brand of PLA. I received the matt PLA in denim blue within 24 hours of ordering from Amazon.

The roll comes packed in the usual Amazon box with paper filler, the branded box is natural cardboard and very environmentally friendly, inside the roll of PLA is well packed and vacuumed with a sachet of silica crystals.. The finish is complete matt. The feel of the rolled PLA and finished prints is smooth to the touch.

Regarding the tolerances, I found the filament was almost entirely 1.75mm and although stated there’s a 0.2mm+/- tolerance, this could go down to 1.71mm. However in all my time 3D printing, an extra 10 microns is not going to cause you any issues. I didn’t find many areas where it exceeded 1.75mm either. I’ve had much more expensive PLAs that although performed great, had greater dimensional variations than the Eryone.

I decided to print a first layer and calicat as my test prints, these was printed at a 0.2mm layer height and 60mm/s. It’s worth noting for anyone relatively new to 3D printing that I have been perfecting my Cura (slicer software) settings for a good while and even now I still fiddle with them. 99/100 print errors are because your settings are wrong rather than it being a problem with your filament (often just slow your print down to improve quality).

Eryone recommend printing between 190-220c. I’m used to printing at 195-210c and decided to try 200c and found this was definitely the best temperature resulting in no warping or stringing. Both test prints came out great with no issues.

I went on to print a stand and holder for my 5″ display / Raspberry Pi / Octodash for my Eryone ER-20 and as you can see from the photos the colour and finish is really good, I like a good matt finish.

Overall I am mega impressed! PLA prices are very volatile at the moment, this is not the cheapest and whilst definitely not the most expensive, it has the same quality and feel of the ultra-premium plastics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic matt PLA!

    2nd Update 4.5 stars
Bought 3 black rolls based on the success of silver, glitter blue and white. Oddly the black filament leaves a rougher top layer finish, almost large scale abrasive to the touch. The other colours were smoothly finished on the final layer. Had some spitting and hissing issues (steam in the nozzle) as moisture got absorbed from they air when we had massive rainfall a month of so back. Made for a ruinous temperature tower! I bought a 40 food dehydrator to dry it out which worked. 2nd roll of black appeared to be brittle. I had 2 prints fail almost right away on the 5th layer due to the filament snapping. I was having breakfast one morning (printer cold and off) and I heard a twang, looked around and the filament had just snapped outside the extruder (direct drive!! Prints fine but for the rough layer and the occasional random snappage.

    Update… 5 stars
    Great filament including the silver!
I tried the sparkly blue after the blobby silver and it too was blobby. Investigating more it soon became clear that the hot end was leaking up the threads and this was causing the blobs! All this was being hidden by the silicon cover. Check out “leaky nozzle” from the well known video site to see how to fix. Basically when you screw the nozzle in leave it sticking out a fair few turns, screw in the heat break and only then tighten up the nozzle. No more molten plastic leaking out both threads.

Now the hot head has been fixed the white, silver and sparkly blue have all now printed wonderfully and I’ve upped my rating to five stars. I highly recommend and will continue to reorder Evryone filament going forwards.

    Original review
dec2019 silver filament. Colour wise it looks great. The white was 3D print perfection (5 stars). The silver is not! It produces molten blobs everywhere. Tried a range of retraction length/speed settings – made no difference and retraction was off for the white filament. These large blobs create an audible twang as the nozzle pings them on the next layer. If your prints footprint area is low it will likely detach the partial print off the bed. This happened a few times.

    Perhaps a duff silver batch?

I’m in a dilemma now, do I order more of the white that was great, or will it this time around be potentially as bad as the silver!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pox affected silver prints. Update - all perfect now

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have to admit I think I have an obsession with this orange filament. I only loaded it a few days ago and since have printed any number of different things. Its very bright, cheery and just looks great.

I’ve been printing at 210/65 on an Eryone Thinker S, and amongst some of the random objects I’ve produced, I’ve printed an SD card holder (photo attached). The usual Benchy boat, and a squirrel. The squirrel almost has a silken shine to him. He came out really great, and as for the SD card holder, its utterly perfect and looks like it was bought from a shop.

Overall, I’m really pleased with this filament. I’d recommend it and will buy more of this colour when it runs out.

Another plus is that for bed levelling, when printing test prints in the 4 corners and centre, it’s obviously REALLY easy to see.

    =======

Updated to also include a review of the white.

I’ve been using the white a lot. I’ve added a series of additional photos to those I loaded for the orange. The white is really good, uniform and consistent. I’ve used it from day one for learning, calibrating and prints of different items.

It’s particularly good for lithophanes as the light shines through it perfectly.

Also great for models that require painting and the pure white model surface means that the paint colours come out accurately.

Another colour I would recommend and that I will be buying more of.

    ============

Updated again as I’ve now tried the black. Unfortunately my reel is a knotted nightmare. It won’t unreel smoothly as its been wound super tight and across itself in such a manner that it requires constant intervention as it tangles. It reminds me of a tangled hosepipe. I’m returning it. I’ve reduced a star for this overall.

If you’ve found this review useful, please click below.

4.0 out of 5 stars Orange - Great, colour! White - Excellent for models. Black - knotted nightmare!

I’m new to printing, so a filament that’s not a pain in the ar$3 to print is kind of a big deal. Going by the reviews on this filament it looked like people were getting good results from this filament so I pulled the trigger on blue and orange colours. I’ll slim the results down into 3 parts:

    1: Adhestion… it’s good!
Anyone who has attempted a print knows that it’s vital your first layer sticks to the bed… In my case, I printed some calibration cubes with my printer and used a brim to stick them down to my glass bed. Tthis cube in particular stuck so well to the bed that I nearly lifted the entire printer trying to release the darn cube!!!

2: Quality of the prints and filament: I can’t complain!
This filament prints super nice once you have the temperatures set. I like to print this filament between 200 and 215*c depending on how fast I’m printing. The print you see in my photo was printed off using a Chinese RepRap i3 clone so while the layers aren’t perfectly aligned, that’s not a fault of the filament but instead a fault of the printer. The calibration cube and all other prints I’ve done so far have been stellar with this filament. I’ve also been checking the diameter througout the reel and it’s VERY consistent. My calipers suck but they still read within 0.01mm along the filament, so there shouldn’t be any issues with jamming or under-extrusion pertaining to inconsistent filament. It’s all on you if your prints fail all the time! check your profile, print a test, rinse, repeat, victory.

    3: Value
For the cost this is some damn good filament. I would expect quality like this from a higher end brand like MatterHackers or Prusa, but here it is… in a filament that’s nearly half the cost!

    4: would I buy again?
Absolutely! This stuff prints super easy when you get the profiles dialled in, get your printer adjusted properly and get that vital first layer stuck down like it’s been bolted there. If you’re a first timer like I am, just got yourself a printer and need a filament to get you started, this stuff does the trick!

5.0 out of 5 stars Noob approved!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersOK, so Ive been using this filament for a few days now and I have to say that is certainly fulfils my needs and exceeds my expectations.

I had been having problems with my Creality CR-10S printer for a few weeks now and was unable to get a reliable print. This is mainly down to the settings of my printer not the filament, so as you can imagine I was reluctant to start using this as I feared I would not get a good print. However, I gave it a try and immediately noticed a difference. Stringing was reduced. However, I reduced my temp settings to 190 (The minimum this filament it claims to work well at) and voila, all stringing was gone. This is sompared to a slight stringing with my regular filament.

Now, Ill be honest, I havent tried using premium filaments so I cnant compare this to the “big boys” however, this has performed really well for me. What you have to remember is that if you get a bad print it could be the filament but equally it could be any one of lots of other settings such as bed leveling, temp, flow rate, o, the list goes on. However, this filament seems to be quite forgiving.
In addition, because they are an Amazon seller I can have this delivered to a locker close to my place of work, so I dont have to worry all day if a courier has thrown my package over the fence, not been able to deliver or not even bothered trying.

So, my thoughts before I tried this?
Well, at 14 a 1kg roll compared to 20 for my regular brand (Which in itself is quite cheap) I thought I would carry on using it as long as it worked). I mean, 6 a roll is a MASSIVE saving, in fact its a case of buy 4 get one free….effectively.
However, I will not be continuing to buy this because of the price. I will continue to buy this because its a good quality filament.

Buy it for the price, buy it for the quality, makes no difference.

I spoke to Eryone before I bought this and asked them a few question and Ill summarise the answers.

    Why is this so cheap?
Well, its cheap because Erone make and sell their own filaments. This means that there is no reseller taking their cut. This means that the savings can be passed on to you the consumer.

You only have two colours. Are there plans for more?
The reason they only have two colours is because they are a newish company. They have started off with the most sought after colours and in the future they plan to introduce more colours. I have suggested they introduce purple as I like that colour LOL

Do you have a facility to give away free samples so people can test the product or colour?
After explaining that the supplier I regularly use gives away a 10M free sample with every spool sent out in a colour of your choice Eryone thought the idea was nice and they would certainly look into the idea themselves. Now, at the price they are selling their filaments Im not sure if they would be able afford to be able to do that.

    CONCLUSION
I am more than happy to make Eryone my number one supplier for filaments. However, as they only supply black and white at the moment Ill only be able to get that from them. Ill continue to use my previous supplier for coloured filament but for blacks and whites these are now my number one “Go-To” suppliers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it for the price or buy it for the quality, makes no difference.
