I’ll like you can look out with tint but outside it looks like there is nothing there. If touching to much it pull part to easy.

You get a mesh, a roll of tape and 2 little tools that help with cutting and sticking (better to use your own scissors), somewhat overpriced

Really liked this item, easy to install and easy to use. Thought all was great until I realised I now can’t close my windows as I’ve covered the window and would need to cut though it just to close.

Used on a tilt and turn large floor to ceiling aluminium window. Frame is dark grey so would have preferred black velcro strip but other than that it worked well and was pretty sticky. I made sure to clean everything well first and then used methylated spirits to degrease. I started at the top corner on the hinge side and worked my way down and then across to the door opening side keeping everything taut as I went along. Lastly I cut off the excess using a pair of scissors. That’s not very neat but as the mesh is black it doesn’t show at all.

Good value, looks good, but a bit fiddly to cut nicely even with the tools provided

Great job in keeping spiders out. The only issue for me was our window handles protrude inwards like most. This results in the nets being changed every 2 months.

Really glad I bought this to stop the mozzies, even if it was for one week of ‘summer’. It works well and is easy to remove without leaving a mark.

Bought several net, always comeback to tesa brand, the quality of the net is very good, stretch just about to get the good installation. Would suggest to cut one side straight and apply to the window as guide, then cut the other 3 sides. Would leave one extra centimetre to fold it and push back to the velcro strip to get neat installatio

It is fairly easy to install but if you want perfection get someone to help and do it with enough light (not at sunset like me). Brings all the tools to help, so that is a plus (a fixing and a cutter), but I suggest using scissors instead of the cutter to get better smoth & straight edges (as opposite to my picture). It is not perfect for my window, but that is not the problem of this product. The net seems good quality, small and subtle holes (see last pict.) but does not forgive mistakes (i.e., as any net if you brush it to the hooks and remove it you might see some flaws in the pattern) so be careful when assembling and after a while to take it off a few times it is going to break, for sure. It does the job, and probably white would work better for my case but Now I can finally let the window open all night without worrying for flies and mosquitos and bees.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fairly easy to install and does the job. Worth it.

This was exactly what I needed! I have Windows that open inwards and so I wasn’t sure I could find anything that could work but this is perfect! I don’t normally leave reviews but had to for this product.

It was relatively easy to put up, you definitely need two people to do it though. Now I can have the windows open while I’m out (I live in a 5th floor flat) and not worry about coming back to lots of flies. Also I was worried about how it would hold up in bad weather but its been really windy for the last two days and the net is still up!

    Honestly well worth the money!

What a game changer these are! I have used them to cover the windows of my entire flat, and they keep all the insects ar bay, and they have even resisted the whole winter, so a very good value for money. If you are allergic to insects like me, these are a real blessing, can’t recommend them enough! They are also really easy to apply, just make sure to cut them correctly so you don’t waste them.

New apartment that we moved into had no netting / mesh on the windows so insects were getting in, especially at night. Bought this to remedy that problem and proved very effective.
Simple installation procedure consisting of putting sticky backed velcro along the sides of the window frame, then placing the net on top and ‘combing’ the net into the velcro to hold it in place securely.
Holds well and has held up for 6 months now without issue so far and seems to be going strong

Easy to install, even if you got it wrong the first time you can easily peel off and do it properly again (which I did).
Our windows are the type that open to the inside, either from the bottom or the side, I wouldn’t say these are made for it per se, but you can still get the sticky bit with some fine finger work close to the hinges.
Haven’t gotten a moth SOS call ever since!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works.

These are really great, I managed to do two windows with mine. The Velcro is really great and strong and hasn’t peeled off or loosened at all in the past 2-3 months it’s been up. The netting sticks really well to the Velcro and doesn’t come loose once stuck down. The only thing that doesn’t make this perfect is some really really small little flies still get through the net but I’m not overly bothered as I bought it to stop black fruit flies, bees and wasps from getting in over the summer. This net certainly stops them from getting through so overall success! Even acted as a barrier from the neighbours cat trying to come through my open window!!

With lockdown leading to less frequent rubbish collections, we started to get a lot of flying visitors trying to pay visits indoors…and with pet rabbits we were worried about the risk of flystrike.

This screen is easy to set up, you even get a little plastic thingy-ma-jig to press the hook and loop tape down firmly so you don’t scratch your hands. I’ve been opening and closing the mesh multiple times a day, pretty much every day for months and there are some tiny holes starting to show, but it’s still doing a great job. I expect I’ll probably need to replace next spring but I feel it’s good value.

It also seems to act as a good deterrent to pets hopping on the windowsill, but it’s not strong/thick enough to keep them in if they’re determined – so don’t rely on this to keep your furry friends safe.

Tape is easy to apply, I cut the netting to size and then left a little overhang at the top so that fabric can be gripped and pulled off the tape so that the window can be opened and closed. The item arrived within 2 days and you even get a little bag of sweets from the seller. Very nice. Thank you.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product. Easy to install (5 mins) and keeps unwanted visitors out. Used on an outward opening window which this isn’t designed for but it’s easy to workaround – just leave a little extra screen on the handle side allowing you to ‘peel’ it open so you can get to the handle then use the special tool to reseal.

I was apprehensive at first as I thought the holes looked quite big… but I was wrong they’re roughly 1.5mm x 2mm rectangle holes… stops moths, miggies, mosquitos, etc… It can be cut to size easily, but you’re better off with a pair of scissors. when you’re cutting it to size make it slightly larger maybe 2-3 cm bigger because the material will stretch in one way and not the other. (when it stretches it will stay stretched)

I buy one of these every year before summer time to keep all them horrible bugs out and it does work I can’t remember the last time I had a spider or mosquito in my Bedroom so it Definitely does its job. The only thing that’s annoying is when you want to keep opening and closing the window as you need to pull the Netting up every time which after a while wears the netting down and scuffs it up a bit which is why I tend to buy a new one each yea

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI originally bought two of these screens in white, for a set of balcony doors. We wanted the maximum transparency and thought white would achieve that. However, the sun shining directly on them created a sort of glare which made them impossible to see through. Eventually, therefore, I replaced them with anthracite ones and they are much better. The anthracite ones are virtually invisible. Seems counter-intuitive but true.

In terms of fitting, they needed cutting to size, which as to be done carefully, but otherwise fitting was straight forward and easy. The screens are fitted externally, so the attachment needs to be secure to avoid problem in windy weather. However, so far, the tape grips the screens very well so we have experienced no problems.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI was recommended by a friend to get this product as I have a phobia of spiders and they keep coming in through the window. I saw other ones which are cheaper but figured it’s best to get one that’s a bit more pricey because I know it would be more sturdy and do the job. It’s so easy to put up. Kept my window open last night with no worries if insects and creepy crawlies lurking in. I feel so much at ease now. Thank you

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI can’t believe how easy this was to install! I really thought that, as it was so simple, it couldn’t possibly be effective, but it is! I have been plagued by insects in the past (especially wasps) and to watch the little so-and-sos bouncing off the mesh is a joy! I usually have the window wide open but, when it was raining heavily recently, I wanted to close it and found that, gently peeling the mesh from one corner upwards, it was very easy to remove and close the window. When I wanted it open again and the mesh in place, it was just as easy to do so. The tool provided makes a perfect seal. I strongly recommend this produce. RCL

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGot really fed up of having to close windows because flies kept getting into my place during the day, and then my place heating up because there’s no air
I have windows that I push down or up to open so I have to leave my window open with the net over or keep opening the net to open and shut the window. Either way, the net held great, no more bugs in summer and even when i kept opening and closing the window the net was easy to remove from the adhesive and then put back, no loss in adhesion!

Very simple and effective, sticks well and I feel much better about having my windows open at night now without fear of bugs or spiders coming in. Took one star off as the net does stretch and tear slightly were I have to keep unsticking it to open and close my windows.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI get really offended when flies and creepy crawlies invade my personal space when I open the window. This net gives me some peace of mind. I’m hoping it will keep out spiders and other insects. It was very easy to install but make sure you do the measurements on your window area.

Golden Review Award: 46 From Our UsersI’ve been using this, along with both official and generic replacement nets, for about 4 years now.

    The good bits:
    – it’s easy enough to fit, takes about 10 mins
    – as long as the surface you apply the velcro to is clean, it attaches well and stays put (I haven’t had to replace the velcro in 4 years, though it’s getting rather dirty and I can’t figure out how to clean it)
    – it stops all the larger insects (say 2mm mosquitos on up)

    The bad bits:
    – it rips quite easily, so figure on replacing the netting every summer (though the generic nets are just as good and significantly cheaper, be wary of their velcro though if you need to replace it)
    – it doesn’t stop the smaller (say <~2mm) insects, like midges Both the bad points can be negated by replacing the netting with a finer version, and just keeping the velcro from this. Fine Mesh Mosquito Midge Netting Fine Weave White Insect Netting (mm34) is a far finer net, attaches to the velcro just fine, and seems to be a bit stronger too (see photo). So if small insects annoy you, use the velcro from this but replace the net with a better version.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but replace the net with a finer version to stop smaller insects

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is amazing! I bought it so I could keep my bedroom windows open at night and not have a load of bugs flying in. It’s very easy to put together, you just measure out the Velcro tape and then press the netting into the Velcro and you’re done! It keeps a breeze coming in and you can still see out the window. My only concern is it might be a little tricky to take down if you want to close the windows (mine open outwards) so definitely make sure you’re planning to keep them open for a long time when you put the netting up. I will make sure to buy this every year for summe

Got this due to the hot summer, although our windows open outwards we placed this on the inside and pulled back the netting to open and close the windows when required. The netting wont last forever doing this but will keep us going for the summer.

This is not 100% cat proof, but it stops them being as nosy or as likely to jump up and stick their head out.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersIf it has more than four legs then I panic. This stops insects from entering and in the recent hot spell it was great to be able to leave the windows open without worrying I was going to be invaded by unwelcome guests.
The pack comes with a roll of self adhesive velcro (the hook part of the velcro only), this is placed all around the window. There is a useful cutting tool and a smothing tool for pressing the velcro into place – this is particularly helpful as it ensures no gaps and saves your fingers from the rough velcro. The netting is then stretched across the window and held in place by the velcro (the netting does not get any velcro of its own but it seems to be held pretty firmly by the hook element without it. The smoothing tool is used again to press the netting into the velcro.
I actually used this for an outward opening window and it did the job just fine, I just put it outside the handles and left just enough slack in the netting to allow room for the handles when the window was closed – I fitted it with the windows closed to make this easier.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our Usersvery fiddly to fit very narrow tape to window edge; also tape doe not stick very well and I have to had to fit new tape (to parts of frame) 3 times-plenty of spare for my size window. Keeps the insects out (wasps which my cats chase!) but it is a close weave white mesh so obscures the view considerably-OK on my 3rd floor window-not sure it would be so appealing on kitchen window though.
