Tips of using a cobbler cocktail shaker:
1. Add ingredients and ice into the tumbler. 2. Put the strainer on and cap the strainer. 3. Tap the top of the cap with your hand; ensure the strainer and lid are firmly in place. 4. Hold the lid in place with one hand and hold the base of the shaker in place with the other. 5.Shake vigorously for around 10 to 18 seconds, depending upon the size and temperature of the ice. 6.Remove the cap first, then strain drink into the glass. Note: This is an individual metal shaker only, not including any separated jigger, strainer, muddler, mixing spoon, Boston shaker, cocktail glasses.

I just utilized this shaker last weekend in my hotel room, had packed it for a trip and made Moscow Mules. Works fine, travels fine, cleans up easily in hotel bathroom sink.
The shaker seems smaller than the one I lost and needed to replace. On the positive side, though, I don’t struggle with trying to get the lid open like I had with my old one. Much easier to open and close.
This is a replacement for one I had for over 20 years. It had an unfortunate accident with the garbage disposal. This one feels cheap and flimsy compared to the old one.
Its light. Shakers are nice when they are substantial. I have to hold it carefully or the top comes off. Has happened twice. I don’t love the feel of it/ using it. Nevertheless it does the job and drinks taste good.
I loved the sturdiness of this cocktail shaker. However, if you are looking for a shaker that you can do more than one drink at a time I would look elsewhere as this one can only make one drink at a time.
I bought this because I was stirring so many of the drinks I was making and while it was fine, I was like I make them so much might as well buy a shaker. This was such a good investment, it was affordable, great size, and makes my drinks taste so much better. Also easy to clean and no leaks or anything so I’m happy with my purchase.
for the price, good value. For the quality/ease of use…you’ll want cold water so you can more easily open the top once you’ve put it on and shaken with it.
I purchased this cocktail shaker to use for iced coffee recipes and it works great! My only complaint is that the top is hard to take off afterwards, but I’ve found that if you tap it a couple of times on the side, it pops right off. Definitely worth it for the price!
This made a great gift with a reasonable price so if you’re on a budget this is a good choice for someone who likes mixed drinks or has a bar or collects bar stuff etc.
I just love this shaker. I took it out to the lake and made Pina Coladas [mock] for our whole group – all that wanted. What a hit! Ice, pineapple juice and cream of coconut. I also loved the YouTube video on how to unstick the top if it ever seizes (just use a corkscrew in one of the top strainer holes and give it a tug). Gave me peace of mind! – but it didn’t seize on me yet.
I bought a cocktail shaker where the lid closed on the inside of the container and it was very difficult to take off to clean or refill. I tried a friends’ and found that the lid that closed on the outside worked better so I decided to buy that same kind. It is so much easier to manage now and I have found it to not leak at all despite some of the reviews I read on this one!
If you’re new to cocktails and stumble across this you got lucky. Buy it and enjoy it.
