Automatic Lighting
When ambient light becomes low, Lumi automatically emits light when motion is detected and turns off after 15 seconds.
Extremely Economical
3 AAA batteries (not included) power Lumi for a full year. Standardized battery size makes replacing batteries wallet-friendly and easy to source.
Easy Installation
Two installation options make Lumi ideal for adding illumination wherever you need it. An adhesive back sticks to a variety of surfaces for instant and automated lighting, while mounting screws are provided for permanent installations.

They’re great. Great value. Great range of motion detection. Would highly recommend. Great size. Very portable, you can put them anywhere. Saves having to search for light switches, especially if you have to cross a room in the dark for the light switch.
Quite good lights, do what it was promised. The only concern might be battery life as we stopped using normal hall lights since putting these on. Will see how long these will last.
wow! Amazing little light. shows up the route to the toilet perfectly. Not too bright to wake you up but excellent as a night light. Any movement switches it on and it goes off quite quickly too. would recommend this to anyone.
Found one where we were staying, looked it up and bought some . Fantastic night light . Good for corridors bathroom etc . You walk by they shine in the dark .
I have set these three lights up my stairs and on my landing, perfect for my early morning get ups when dark
The sensors are perfectly responsive.
The lights emit a warm glow, gently lighting the way.

These are the best sensor lights that I have bought they are sturdy and show just enough light for what I need I bought the first ones three years ago and I have bought these same lights for presants for different persons and they are really pleased with them and they do save on electricity.
Love these. Put them in my bathroom and 1 in my hallway for my children when they get up in the night to use the toilet.
So happy now it feels safe to use the stairs at night.
Because of the energy crisis we use these we have two in livingroom, two in downstairs wet room 4 on the stairs, two for upstairs Bathroom at nite we donot use much electric brilliant. X
Device is immediately sensitive to movement and has good brightness – sufficient to avoid using a top light in bathroom at night. I just rest mine against the floor and haven’t tried wall fittings.
I used the light for the Bathroom visits for during the night it works perfectly and then no one else is dusturbed by putting all the lights on .
These are very good, my only criticism is that they are a bit too bright for my application, a feature that allowed the light output to be varied would make them perfect. Better too bright than too dim though, as others have commented a few strips of masking tape solves the problem
I have three sets of these and they are brilliant. Purchased due to the rising costs of electricity and they have made a big difference. I have two main lights on my stairs, 8 spot lights in my bathroom and 18 spotlights in my kitchen all of which were consuming electricity like no tomorrow which is why I decided to give these a try. I have a set on the stairs, in the bathroom and in my kitchen and they light up enough for us to see where we’re going and what we are doing. The batteries lasts longer on low traffic areas, minimum 3 months with duracel batteries. Each one takes 3 aaa batteries and I get a pack of 12 from home bargains for under 4. They can also be free standing for those who don’t want to stick to the wall like myself. I have purchased both the first generation ones and the second generation lights and the second generation went back due to them not being freestanding or as bright as these.. They are simple excellent and I would definitely recommend. A great purchase!
These are exactly what I wanted. The range is pretty good. The one at the top of my stairs lights up when I’m at the bottom step. The light is adjustable at either dim or bright.
The only issue I had is that they are tempermental when batteries are first put in (turning on when they don’t need to and not when the should) but after removing/re-inserting the batteries they started behaving.
Oh and beware the sticky pads are those super sticky 3M pads so be sure you are happy when you place them!
I love these lights, they’re just enough without being too bright. Theyre nice and small to ‘hide’ wherever you need them. The motion sensor is perfect, hasn’t missed any movement whatsoever and the ‘pickup’ area is set just right. Alas I didn’t read the instructions closely and decided to put one in my bathroom and the other two outside on my decking steps. The two outside have actually lasted a year but have now stopped working. The inside one is still going strong and I’ve yet to replace any batteries. Please don’t be a wally like me and put them outside in all weather.
I’m buying some more for inside the house, I just love them.
I ordered two packs of the night lights which I have placed in various locations around the house. The motion sensors are very effective and the lights remove the need to switch on electric lights every time I walk into a room. The lights go out when no movement is detected but very easily light again on sensing even a slight movement. I find them so useful that I have ordered one more pack.
So I’ve been researching and trying to find a good set of motion detecting lights. Most important was that they were downward facing and that they were a warm light as opposed to a clinical white light. These tick both those boxes. There are intermittent time when I feel like they should’ve picked up my motion a second earlier than they do, but they never fail to do so completely. Overall very happy and would 100% buy again. Just like many people have said, they are quite a lot brighter than you think! Not so much that they can’t function as a night light when going to the loo or for a midnight fridge raid, but bright enough that I’d recommend getting one pack of 3 before buying any more (depending on where you’re placing them of course, i.e. separate rooms, hallways etc.)
Love the light. Not it is safer to wake up at night and walk around safely around in darkness but is also kind of saving some money with electric bill.
I love these little things. Rather than leaving the hallway/landing light on for our daughter, I’ve got these in place. When she comes out of her room at night they flash on, not too bright for sleep eyes, but more than enough to see where you are going. I’ve found it to be even nicer if you turn it upside down so the light goes up and softens as it bounces around the room. I originally had two in the landing but that was too much. So down to one there now, and one on the stairs.
Decent little lights, not super bright but just enough to make using main lights at night unnecessary, I have 1 in the bathroom and 1 in the kitchen, just enough so you can see where you’re going but certainly couldn’t cook by one.
Motion detection is quick and range is good for whole body motion, if I walk towards it it’ll come on about 15ft away but not very good if you are waving at it, about 5ft if I stay still and just wave my arm.
Timer could be longer or adjustable, they stay on for about 15 seconds, perfect for stairs but if you’re using them in a toilet you have to start dancing around to get them to come on again if they are more than a few feet away as they don’t detect a waving arm very well but overall very happy with them.
Great set of lights that are especially perfect for a dark stairwell or hallway at night. They stick effectively and the battery seems to last a very long time; I’ve had my lights for half a year now and haven’t had to replace the batteries yet.
Pros:
– Nice, subtle design. The lights blend nicely into their environment and are designed to avoid glare.
– Just enough light to illuminate an area at night.
– Great battery life
– Sticks well to surfaces
Cons:
– Motion detection seems to be hit or miss. In the three lights I received, two of them light up immediately, but the third one occasionally requires some hand waving to wake up. Not a major issue, but something to note.
Overall very happy with these, no regrets at all.
I bought these to use in a long hallway, at night time when the kids got up to the toilet they were switching on all the lights and waking the whole house. The fact they are battery powered means they can be placed anywhere. The motion detection feature is great, they react quickly to movement and turn off after a couple of minutes. I have also placed them on the sides of my divan bed, this stops me stubbing my toes on the furniture and the light is dim enough not to waken the mrs. Definable worth the money. I have got one in my travel bag so when we are in a hotel I don’t end up tripping over the furniture in the dead of night.
Initial impression is that these are well made with no false detections.
Saying initial as the previous these are replacing had good motion detection too – although they eventually became faulty and started turning on on their own.
The one advantage the older ones had was that they took AA batteries rather than AAA. Generally, AA batteries last 3 times longer than AAA ones, although to be fair to the Ankers I haven’t had to change the batteries yet.
I’d rather device were slightly larger and took the bigger batteries. Or if they insist on using AAA batteries, do what some torches do and allow 3xAAA or 1×16850 lithium ion battery. Best of both worlds.
After a recent housemove, it became apparent that two of my (now elderly) cats are suddenly afraid of the dark.
These were bought to line the stairs and help them find their way up to bed, and work a treat.
The remaining cat, the somewhat-bullied babycat, has discovered that if she sleeps right on front of one, the light will come on and wake her if anyone gets too close. This gives her a little time to get out of the way of her grouchy older siblings and has cut down on night time squabbles significantly (as well as being very cute).
The brightness of the lights on the stairs is not overly obtrusive – despite our room being at the top of the stairs, but is good enough to climb up without treading on anyone, or to see when your big sister is getting ready to pounce on your sleeping form. 10/10 would recommend for owners of freak cats.
I love these lights. They’re small so they’re unobtrusive, but very bright.
I have two on my stairs which makes for safety both for myself and my old dog.
I put one at the side of my bed so that when I swing my legs out of bed I can instantly see where my housecoat is without being blinded by my bedside light. It also let’s my old dog see where the floor is before she jumps off.
I justvlive them for the difference they’ve made in my life and I’d recommend them if you have an elderly person on your life who, like me, is guilty of not turning on big lights. My friend who has ocd can’t turn her hall light on at the top of the stairs she has carried a torch for years but these will be a life changer for her.
Just going to order another set for my landing and spare bedroom to place in the same area as my room.
Bought three of these for use on the stairs landing to save our grand daughter hunting for the landing light switch when she nips to the loo in the night, plus other guests of course. On receipt of the package I thought I had only received one light rather then the three advertised as the box was quite small but it did contain the three lights. Popped in new batteries and have set them up approx 18″ above the floor around the stair landing. Have seen other reviews saying some lights didn’t work out of the box but all three are fine. Well impressed with the brightness and the motion function is excellent, so much so that I had to move one of the lights from the top of the stairs to one side as it was being activated by movement downstairs. Illumination is perfect for safe movement around the top of the stairwell yet the lights themselves (approx 3″ square and 1/2″ deep) do not look out of place. The lights are activated by movement and switch off again when no movement detected after approx 20-30 secs. So impressed that I ordered another three, one of which is in the bathroom so that you are not blinded by the main light when you need to go during the night.
When you’re passed a certain age, whether male or female, bladder urgency sometimes becomes a huge problem, especially at night if you have any spinal cord disruption or disease. I suffer from chronic Arachnoiditis and often wake with such an urgency sensation that I need to get to the bathroom pronto. In this scenario you have to move so fast that you have no time to stop to switch lights on. These small, compact, lights not only look great, but work like a charm, exactly as described, as I move from my bed to the loo they switch on illuminating my route. I placed No.3 above the cistern, which is about waist-high, so that I can see what I am doing – if it times out I simply shrug my shoulders to switch it on again. They are also bright enough for me to see but not so bright that they would disturb a sleeping partner or another child in a kids room and I believe these would work well for children, encouraging them to go to the toilet even on the darkest, scariest nights. They also illuminate my hallway where there are no windows. It may be that, placed strategically around a house, they would scare the wits out of would be burglers with a sudden flash of unexpected light. They are also very, very, easy and simple to install, no screwdriver required. In all I am extremely pleased with this value for money purchase and would recommend them to anybody else. Naturally they do have larger brethren if more light is required.
I have used these several areas now: on our stairs where they light up a couple of awkward corner steps , in my elderly parents home where they provide much needed light at night on their route to the bathroom and in a holiday apartment which has no natural light in its hallway and I could never find the light switch! I also have one inside a cupboard.
The sensors ensure that they come on at the right time in response to movement and they provide just the right amount of light to show you the way after which they switch themselves off again. They provide a subtle downward light and look really pretty used in groups near floor level- I have placed most of mine just above the skirting. I can confirm the battery life is excellent as most of mine have been in use for more than a year. I recommend you rest them in chosen spots to check you are happy with the position before sticking them permanently. I have used a couple of other styles but these have been my favourites for the quality of light which is a lovely warm hue. Also the pack of three is a good number to use together in a hallway for impact and they are good value for money. I highly recommend this item.
Ordered these on a deal from Amazon after the motion lights I bought from Costco started playing up. These are smaller in comparison to the Costco lights, and have 1 LED.
The motion sensor picks up movement without delay, and the light is subtle. This is good especially for those late night trips to the kitchen or bathroom without needing to turn on the hallway lights (and being blinded while in a half awake state). My photo of the hallway is a lot brighter than the light actually is (possibly camera settings).
The housing feels well built and looks stylish. Its certainly more visually appealing than an alarm motion sensor, although it could be mistaken for one from a distance. The sticky pads work well to hold the housing on the wall – in comparison to the Costco ones, I had to stick them myself with velcro tape.
The box contents are well packaged and contains 3 lights, wall fittings (if you want to screw them to the wall) and instructions. They have an 18 month warranty which is also a plus. Only extra bits to buy is 3 x AAA batteries for each light (so 9 batteries in total for all 3 lights).
Overall definitely worth having, especially when its on offer or if you have a voucher. They look stylish, work well and will certainly come handy – especially if there is a power cut or a late night / early morning trip to the bathroom/kitchen.
I recently had the tank removed from my airing cupboard so had quite a bit of space, so as not to waste it I bought some shelves from Ikea and transformed the airing cupboard into a delightfully organised and tidy at home mini version of Boots!… who knew a girl could have so much skincare/haircare/makeup!!
End result looked great but cupboard was quite dark, hunted for some little lights, discovered these, reviews seemed good so I ordered……
Prime delivery next day…..
They are brilliant, placed the 3 in there, one to the left, the right and one on the back wall….. so now when I open the door to the cupboard they sense motion and ping into life and light up my fabulously organised cupboard! Yay!
Can’t comment on battery life yet as only been up for a few days, but seem so easy to just slide the front of the light off the back that stays in place to replace batteries when needed…. I only stuck my lights on using the sticky pads they come with, they are verrrrrry sticky so just make sure you place the lights on straight (I had a right fight trying to prise off a wonky light to re-position…. I’ll be honest I did say a few naughty words!) 😉
Highly recommend these fab little lights…
I just need to stop opening the cupboard at every opportunity to “oooooh” at them in operation cos otherwise I’ll be buying batteries on a weekly basis at this rate!! Haha 🙂
Great purchase, great price!….. don’t hesitate to buy….they’ll light up your life!! (I’ll get my coat!) xx
These lights are amazing value. They serve their purpose well and look nice while doing it.
The box contains three, well packaged and small units. The fact that you get three for the price is amazing in its own right. In addition to the units, there is also a few mounting accessories such as screws. The units themselves also have the sticking straps already applied, with a cover over the stick end initially. There is also an instruction book, which is a little small, but still very easy to follow and has a few useful support links.
The units themselves are very well built. They are very light and feel great to hold. They also look simple enough, but still manage to not look obnoxious like other LED units. They have a backplate that can easily be removed by sliding it against the unit, and then the batteries can be isntalled. Even with the batteries installed, the units are very light and compact.
The light given off was a surprise. I was not expecting the light to be as powerful, or as clear. It is not a harsh light, but instead a nice glow which is not hurtful on your eyes in the dark. This was useful as two locations I placed them on were my hallway (no windows, so hard to navigate at night without a light) and my porch (at night it is impossible to see out of the peephole, or for someone on the other end to even see the door)
Overall the product is amazing value, I am happy with the units and will consider more in the future if I ever need more. The light given off is much brighter but less harsh than mains operated counterparts. The fact that they are battery powered is also useful, it means they are not limited to where a pesky cable can get to.
These lights are very bright for the size of the LED and are very good at detecting motion even in the pitch black. As they only turn on in the dark you don’t have to worry about being annoyed by them turning on during broad daylight.
They take 3 triple a batteries and these are not included in the box but they do last around year (as it says) before they need to be changed for new ones.
couple of bad things they could pick up on are as follows:
they turn off after 15 seconds which is a little short for a night light. it should be at least 2 minutes so if you decided you wanted them on a doorway so when you walk in to a room they would turn on and stay on for awhile they turn off after you have not moved a lot.
in the box is a pack of screws and wall plugs so you can mount them on the wall. Instructions which are very small they could be made bigger so people with poor vision could actually read them. a warranty card so if you have any problem with the lights you know how to get a full refund. also the lights securely packaged inside the box .
as well as being able to screw them to the wall and have them permanently there you can use the preinstalled adhesive pads that are already on the light to securely mount them to a surface without worrying about holes in the surface you have them placed on.
They also did think about battery changing issues with these lights as the back of the light will be against a wall… So all you have to do is lift the front part of the light up and then you have 2 pieces of the light. One being a mounting plate and the other being the actually part of the light where the batteries are kept.
As they are now i wouldn’t recommend you place them on a wall in a room they would be better of placed inside a wardrobe or car bott.
overall i say this is a light i will continue to use as the light is very bright and they are anti glare so no horrible bright light in your face. But i do think there are things that they could work on. Highly recommend.
