I’ve never used a cooling fan before. I wouldn’t go back to using an ordinary fan now as this is far more effective at keeping myself and my pets cool during a heatwave. I didn’t realise when I bought it that it had to be placed away from the wall to be able to circulate properly but to be honest, who cares! It tucks into a corner easily when not in use. You have to keep an eye on the water level and change the ice blocks quite regularly, but it’s well worth the effort.
Make no mistake, this will not cool your room down. It has no impact unless you are in its line of blowing air. However it is a very effective strong fan . Haven’t noticed that much of an effect from the cold water and ice packs I have to say.
I do have a ridiculously hot flat in summer but not practical to have air con due to design of building.
It is very very noisy, I was worried on the strongest setting I would get complaints from my neighbors as it’s that loud.
I recommend this as a great fan but do not imagine it will cool your room down as it will not .
Looked at getting aircon but so expensive,this has probably been the best cooler I’ve ever purchased even without the ice packs supplied is really cool ,with the added air filter it is a great cooling system for the home, can move room to room as not to heavy
I’ve had this product for around 3 weeks now during the hot weather! Ive found it really helpful cooling us down. Easy to use and light weight. Cold blocks and water can be added to help cool the air more. Only downside is you cant remove the drawer at the bottom to empty/clean you just have a little plug at the back to pull out to drain the water from inside. Lowest speed setting not too noisy for sleeping. There are 2 other settings in it think its natural/sleep mode but i don’t tend to use them. Overall seems like a good air cooler.
Had this for a few weeks now, cannot recommend highly enough. As you can see from the photo, we have this up on a chest of drawers, really helps with distribution of the cool air. Also shows how small and lite this item is. Even although it is on castors, just as easy to pick it up.
Vert easy to use, not too noisy either, can happily sleep with this on. Timer function for turning it off is really good too.
So good, thinking on buying another, so we have one upstairs and downstairs.
I was sick of fans blowing warm air around and being too warm. I saw the reviews and they were mixed on this unit. Let me tell you what I think.
If you want it to cool a living room like air conditioning would, then this isn’t for you as it’s not an air conditioning unit.
But what is does do, is blows cold/cool air and it’s beneficial if it’s within a few meters of you.
It’s far better than any fan I’ve tried and it’s lovely to sit and be cool.
Well worth the money and I’m buying a second so I have one in the bedroom.
Lost one star as fiddly to fill and remove water rank for cleaning – the pump is not easy to remove. So might let down on quality if pump weakened.i
Otherwise everything else is as described and does cool our lounge without having to use highest settling.
I use ice not the packs supplier and chilled water.
I would recommend as pricing offer was good and I have used larger aircon units before with similar results fir half the price. So good value for money.
The unit is light and easily manoeuvred, it’s on castors so no need to lift it . It’s easy to use and works very well in cooling the room . Good value for money .
Got this cooler because conservatory can get quite stuffy. This cooler the room very well, when you put the ice blocks in it’s as cool as air conditioning. I like that it’s black and white design, fit right into the style of my room. Sleek and not fiddly to use can roll it to another room easily. Great buy!
We’ve tried all different kinds of fans in the past but had problems with them running out of water or not being powerful enough.
This one is incredible!
+ It comes with 4 ice blocks (freeze 2, keep 2 in fan) so you can rotate them and never be without.
+ The water container at the bottom holds a huge 8LTrs of water so no need to refill all of the time

I live in a shared accommodation and don’t have the option to install AC so I bought this as a portable AC and it does what it says in the tin. It is very easy to use and the best option is portability. You can move it around the house if you wish to do so. Hopefully, It will be good for the hottest summer that we now used to have.
I’m definitely impressed with this air cooler, just tried to see if it works as advertised and to be honest it cools a room quite quickly and even faster with ice packs in it, remote works fine and you can change speeds from a distance if it gets to noisy. It goes well with interior as it looks modern with gloss black finish at the top. In overal pleased with its performance.
Very simple to use, strong blowing air cooler. I was searching for some with strong and powerful fan. So far the fan is good and able to blow air in my open living room. I didn’t use the ice blocks yet because I like the fan how is blowing. Hopefully will receive good performance even during the hottest days this summer.
you can set this so that it has a few frozen bottles inside of the water tank which is on the bottom of the cooler, this means that the water that it is using to missed ever so slightly into the air is kept a lot colder which in turn means that you are cooled down a lot quicker but also but the temperature that hits you is a lot more consistent.
It’s controlled via the buttons on the top of the unit itself which allow you to adjust the speed the swing the temperature as well as potentially turning on the timer if you’d like it to go off after a certain amount of time. You also have the option of using the remote control which is included and has basically the same functionalities as the buttons on the top of the cooler.
